Chapter 45: Who said 'I love you ' first?
The door burst opened and its occupants stood out of shock. " Tina! The most confusing thing just happened to me. Am I interrupting something? "
A pink tint colored Tina's and Alex's cheeks. Alex spoke first. "Hey Al! Fancy seeing you here "
Realization dawned on Allison as she took in the scene before her: Tina's and Alex's tousled hair, lipstick on Alex's face, Tina's swollen lips and rumpled clothes. " You must be kidding me".
Alex raised his hands in an attempt to salvage the situation. "Let me explain. We started dating last week. I wanted to tell you but I had to wait for you to come back. Don't assume that I wanted to keep it from you. Really ".
He was talking so fast that Allison had to hide a smile. "I was joking. I'm really happy for the both of you. You sure look flustered. Who said 'I love you ' first?"
Tina completely avoided that question. "You said something happened. What is it?"
Allison grimaced. " First of all, can the both of you arrange yourselves? It won't take a genius to figure out what the two of you had been doing here. And secondly ", she plopped down on an empty chair. " Everett and I broke up".

" What happened? "

"The usual. Although it isn't every day you walk into a room and catch your boyfriend sleeping with your roommate ".
Tina placed a hand on her shoulder. " I'm sorry ".
" You don't need to be. It's just a preamble to the actual event ".
Alex looked conflicted as to whether he should stay or not but Allison told him to stay. "What I'm about to say might seem weird but I really need someone to talk to".
Tina laughed. "Allison, you’re the weirdest patient I've ever talked to. Just continue ".

"That's comforting. Following my break up with Everett, I needed to clear my head. I was angry and I had this feeling that I haven't experienced since that 'training ‘with Courtney two years ago ". She used her two fingers to emphasize the word ' training '. "That intense desire to kill someone was rising so fast that I had to leave and leave fast. I didn't know where I was planning on going, I just ran. I ran and ran till I got tired. Alex, has there been any animal sightings lately? "


" No, why?"

" I saw a wolf. A white wolf. The weird thing was it didn't try to move away when I moved closer ".

" Now why would you do that? “, Alex asked.

"I don't know. It was cute. Alex, please don't interrupt me. I need to get this out of my system. The strangest thing happened when I touched it. It relaxed under my touch and lots of scenes flooded into my head that I was sure I would get a headache. I think they were my memories but nothing really stood out. I heard some voices that weren't mine and they contained feelings of anger, sadness and gratitude. But one name stood out".
