He didn't hold much animosity towards the Heavenly Mother Sect as long as they didn't infringe upon the interests of his family. It was a member of the sect, the magistrate of Yunshan County, who had provided him with the information that allowed him to arrive in time.
The Eastern River Magistrate waved his hand, giving the order.
Kou Ruozhi, however, merely laughed lightly, fanning himself casually. "You dog of an official, how many of your soldiers do you think are followers of my Heavenly Mother Sect?"
The Eastern River Magistrate's expression changed.
He then coldly laughed, "Do you think I would be unprepared? These soldiers don't belong to the Eastern River County, they were specifically dispatched from the General's Mansion."
