The ship sailing across the Grand Line was a standard officer-class vessel from the Big·mom pirate crew.
A tall, gaunt man with long white hair cascading over his right eye held a telescope. Draped in a black hooded cloak, he wore a white robe underneath and carried a sword at his waist.
Charlotte Rezan, the thirty-third son of Charlotte Big Mom.
Beside him stood a stout, towering man with a long nose and black hair tied into a topknot secured by a hairpin. A wool coat covered his broad frame, while a red-and-white striped scarf obscured half his face. His arms were armored, and his head seemed disproportionately small compared to his bulky body.
A massive Katana rested on his back.
Charlotte Snug, the twenty-fifth son of Charlotte Big Mom and former member of the Four Guardians, the Snack Minister of Totto Land.
"Big Brother Snug, capturing Olga this time means Mother will surely favor you again. Who knows—you might even restore your position as one of the Four Guardians", Rezan said, lowering his telescope.
"That's impossible."
Snug's expression darkened. "Rezan, I told you—failure like mine isn't tolerated among the Guardians. I lost to that bastard Urouge, shaming myself before Mother. No matter how much Mother favors me later, I can never reclaim that title."
"But we must complete what Mother desires."
Snug fixed his gaze on the horizon. "We'll strike the Marine Base no matter what."
"You're overreacting, Big Brother Snug", Rezan countered. "This place used to be Admiral Lucius Kro's base, but he was recently transferred to Shabondy in the Grand Line. Now it's commanded by his subordinate, Dougleg·Kas. I heard he once intervened in the Vinsmoke Family's war against four nations in the North Blue, seizing three thousand Clone Soldiers. He's competent, though his personal strength isn't remarkable."
"Pegasus Island's defenses are formidable. Rushing in recklessly would be unwise. But once we land, if you eliminate Dougleg·Kas first, the island will fall into our hands."
Snug nodded. "You always analyze well. I'll follow your plan."
Rezan grinned. "Pegasus Island is the West Blue's most prosperous isle. Plundering it would bring us immense wealth. The only concern is Admiral Lucius Kro—he'll surely resent us for this."
"We're pirates."
Snug scoffed. "Even if he doesn't hate us, we'd still be captured if we cross paths. Don't worry—Mother is the Strongest."
"True", Rezan agreed. "Mother is the Strongest!"
The ship pressed forward, and soon the silhouette of Pegasus Island emerged.

On the island, Olga recounted their story to Kas.
"I was once a donut craftsman in a New World town. When Big Mom took interest in me, I was thrilled—after all, she's one of the Four Emperors! Being invited by a Four Emperor to join their ranks was an honor even in my homeland."

Sighing, Olga turned to Kas. "Is someone craving my donuts? If I head to Shabondy, could you escort me to the East Blue? That remote place might grant me longer respite."
Kas responded bluntly, "That's all?"
"That's all?!" Olga exclaimed. "That's the Four Emperors! Big Mom—the world's Strongest woman!"
"Mere Four Emperors!!!"
Kas's thunderous roar froze Olga, who stared at the serious-faced man.
The bearded officer bellowed, "We're the Navy! Our duty is to protect civilians from tyranny. Whether pirates or anyone else, Justice demands we never retreat!"
"I'm Admiral Kuromr.'s subordinate—a man destined to become an Admiral! Whether it's the Four Emperors or the One Piece itself, I'll never allow anything that hinders Kuromr.!"
A swirling white energy enveloped Kas. "I swore to be Kuromr.'s shield! If I can't even fulfill the wishes of his most beloved subordinate, Lidamiss, and instead cower before a mere pirate's reputation, what right do I have to call myself his shield? How could I face Kuromr. again?"
"If Kuromr. were here, he'd never let fear of pirates force a civilian into panic and exile! This is Pegasus Island—Kuromr.'s base, my base, the Navy's base!"
"Before the Navy, pirates must retreat! Before Justice, wickedness cannot stand!!"
"Stay here, Master Olga! Trust in us, the Navy—we'll never let pirates harm you!"
The swirling white energy cloaked Kas like a divine being descended from the heavens, leaving Olga momentarily awestruck.
