"Maybe you get what you pay for. You should know that most of the money Quill spent on upgrading the Milano went into this AI system, Dawn. It must have some unique qualities."
"Of course, Dawn isn't just any AI system!"
Star-Lord proudly lifted his head and then said to the control panel:
"Dawn, Dawn, who is the most handsome man in the universe?"
"Of course, my beloved... uh, Lord Star-Lord!"
Dawn's sweet voice echoed through the ship, but this time, her answer was less confident.
Nebula and Gamora exchanged glances and looked at Star-Lord with a gaze that suggested they thought he was an idiot.
Jerry also chuckled and shook his head.
Actually, when a black market dealer recommended Dawn to Star-Lord, he was initially reluctant to buy it. After all, an AI system worth eight billion was simply too expensive. He wasn't that foolish.
