Chapter 439: Obedient Tina
Chapter 439: Obedient Tina
Over the next few moments, Su Yu and Link discussed a variety of topics that weren't particularly important.
Tina stood quietly to the side, listening without a word, pretending to be a pretty ornament.
After their conversation wound down, Link turned to Su Yu and said, "Su Yu, in the game world, don't just focus on leveling up. You need to build a solid foundation, or you'll face tremendous difficulties when you advance to the Planetary Realm."
"We, the Holy Silver Federation, govern the Milky Way and the Holy Silver systems, which house at least fifty to sixty thousand creatures of the eighth rank or higher. Out of these, only two thousand can advance to the Planetary Realm. A significant portion of them failed to qualify early on due to a poor foundation."
Su Yu's heart sank, and he quickly replied, "Understood. I'll pay attention to building a solid foundation."
"Good." Link nodded and then turned to Tina, "Miss, do you want to stay with Su Yu?"
Tina hadn't expected Link to suddenly ask her a question and was caught off guard. Her cheeks turned red as she stammered, "I-I..."
She was at a loss for words, unsure how to respond.
Su Yu was also surprised. Link hadn't even glanced at Tina before, and he had assumed that they were on different planes, making Tina invisible to him.
Link smiled gently, "Young lady, if you want to stay with Su Yu, you need to work hard and strive to join us in the Secret Court in the future. We'll be going now, and we'll be in touch if anything comes up!"
Without waiting for a response, Link's form gradually faded into the void.
Once Link was gone, Su Yu let out a small sigh of relief. Despite Link being more approachable than before, the pressure of being in the presence of a god-tier figure was still immense, the kind of pressure that came from a higher rank.
The oppressive feeling quickly dissipated after Link's departure.
Tina lightly patted her broad chest and turned to Su Yu, "Crusher, who was that person? I didn't really understand what you were talking about."
"Um," Su Yu thought for a moment and said, "Tina, let's finish up here first. I'll explain everything to you in detail once we get home."
"Okay, I'll listen to you," Tina nodded obediently.
Su Yu reached out and gently ruffled Tina's small head.
Tina was truly obedient and well-behaved, the gentlest of all the women he had met, even more so than the cat, Morning Star!
"Ah, if Tina were a cat, that would be wonderful!" Su Yu thought to himself.
Down below, the Blue Star army was still in the process of occupying the Skrull base.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Su Yu reopened his live stream. He had turned it off before the assault on the base, and now that the battle was over, it was time to resume.
The viewers in the live stream were waiting eagerly, and as soon as Su Yu went live, the chat exploded with messages:
"Boss, how's the situation over there?"
"Was the attack successful?"
"Did you encounter any special weapons targeting you?"
Su Yu looked at the chat and replied, "Everyone, rest assured. The attack went very smoothly. Look, this is the body of the Skrull commander."
He directed the camera toward the charred, floating corpse of the Skrull commander.
However, the commander's gruesome appearance shocked the viewers. Some were spamming "Opening Thunderstrike," while others were saying, "Too scary," "Yuck," and "Got a psychological scar."
After all, a burned, charred humanoid corpse suddenly appearing on the screen, even though it wasn't human, was still quite shocking.
Apart from a few oddballs spamming "Looks delicious," Su Yu timely addressed the live stream:
"Another reason I started this live stream today is to help you all toughen up. Once the Skrulls launch their full-scale attack, scenes like these will be as common as bacteria in the Ganges. We must be prepared to face them."
"Building up your courage now will give you more resilience in the future."
"I’ll show you a few more graphic and terrifying scenes to help you build that courage. If anyone watching can’t handle it, feel free to look away and watch the recording later during a meal."
Upon hearing Su Yu’s words, the chat comments shifted:
"Commander Ke is right. We need to toughen up now. If we can’t handle it behind a screen, how will we face the Skrulls in the future?"
"Agreed, we need to build our courage!"
"But, Commander Ke, you’re too much. Watching during a meal? That’s just cruel."
Some viewers noticed Su Yu’s use of "secondary reason" and asked:
"If that’s the secondary reason, what’s the main reason?"
Su Yu didn’t answer, instead holding his phone and flying toward the Skrull base below.
For the next while, Su Yu used his phone to broadcast the real scenes from the Skrull base, streaming them to viewers worldwide. According to the live stream’s backend, about 20 million people were currently watching, and the number was growing exponentially every few minutes.
Su Yu narrated his earlier attack on the Skrull base and directed the camera at the Blue Planet soldiers arresting Skrull troops, seizing war spoils, and taking control of Skrull ships and structures. The soldiers’ faces were tense as they carried out their orders with precision.
The chat was flooded with messages of "Salute," expressing deep respect for the brave Blue Planet soldiers on the front lines.
Commander Zhang also joined the operation, wearing a mech that allowed him to carry several tons of weight with ease. However, due to his age, he could only operate the mech for less than 20 minutes before handing it over to a younger soldier.
Once the last Skrull soldier in the base was under control, the Blue Planet soldiers were no longer in immediate danger. Su Yu then flew off with Tina, heading toward the "Monster Factory."
He announced in the live stream:
"Someone asked what the main reason for this live stream is. I’ll tell you now—it’s because of what’s being manufactured in the ‘Monster Factory’ that I’m doing this live stream."
By the time he finished speaking, they had arrived at the entrance of the "Monster Factory." A few Blue Planet engineers in lab coats were carrying precision instruments, attempting to crack the password lock on the door.
"Everyone, step aside. I’ll use brute force to break the lock," Su Yu called out to the engineers.
"Sure thing," the engineers stepped back without objection.
"Tina," Su Yu turned to the young woman beside him.
"Got it!"
Tina withdrew a golden longsword from her storage space. Her aura rapidly swirled, forming a massive golden spiral. The spiral spun at high speed, turning her into a golden drill as she charged at the factory door.
With a deafening boom, the door couldn’t withstand the force and was pierced, creating a large hole. The electromagnetic protection the Skrulls had added to the door was rendered useless.
