With a mighty roar from Seto Kaiba, the Light Dragon seemed to melt into the sun, its radiance sweeping across Yugi Muto's entire field, reducing it to nothingness.
Even the unstoppable Dragon Destroy Sword was powerless—it may have been invincible against dragons, but it could only slay what it was designed for.
Alas, Yugi's dragon had no regard for martial ethics, donning a layer of Illusion God's Skin. This rendered the sword useless, and it vanished helplessly in the white light.
Watching the domineering swordsman exit the field, Yugi's companion, Tea Gardner, couldn't help but stare in awe. "Even such a formidable destroyer has fallen..."
"Hehe, of course," boasted Solomon Muto, rubbing his nose proudly. "After all, that's my brother we're talking about—the legendary Seto Kaiba."
Yes, there was nothing to worry about.
His brother's dueling prowess was unmatched.
"Even the Destroyer Sword was no match... Truly worthy of the title, CEO Kaiba," acknowledged Yugi.
"In just half a year, you've grown to such heights," Kaiba remarked, his tone calm. "Yugi Muto, even I must admit that you've exceeded my expectations."
Pausing for a moment, he smiled faintly.
"Perhaps you are the dueler I've been waiting for... Hmph, but not today. It's not that easy."
Indeed, he had lingered too long.
This time, as he re-entered the dueling world, the title of Duel King was his for the taking.
Whoever stood in his way would be swept aside.
"Although all the cards on my field have been destroyed by the Light Dragon, my battle phase is not over yet," Yugi stated, his expression unwavering.
Kaiba furrowed his brow.
"Oh? But you have no cards left on your field," he said coolly. "And you have no monsters capable of attacking. In this situation, you think your offense isn't over yet?"
"Indeed," Yugi affirmed.
"How intriguing," Kaiba chuckled. "Then let me see what you have in store. We've reached this point, this juncture, and I'm curious to see how you plan to counter!"
"As you wish," Yugi replied.
Behind Yugi, a transparent shadow emerged.
"Executioner—Magical Samurai!" Kaiba's eyes narrowed as he instantly understood.
"Correct," Yugi confirmed. "When I fused and drew two cards, I also sent three other cards to the graveyard, one of which was 'Executioner—Magical Samurai'!"
"Since the Executioner is in the graveyard, I can activate a Trap Card from my hand during this turn," Yugi explained. "First, I activate this card."
With a wave of his hand, Yugi brought forth the Trap Card.
"Trap Card: 'High-Speed Chant'! Discard a Magic Card from your hand, and you can activate this Trap as if it were that card's effect! As a cost, you cannot activate any Magic Cards during your next turn!"
Kaiba had used this very card during his final turn in the alternate dimension, replicating the effect of 'Monster Reborn' which Yugi had played earlier in their duel.
Of course, the outcome of using an opponent's card—especially one from Yugi—in a duel was not going to be favorable.
Yugi discarded a card from his hand.
"I discard the Magic Card 'Super Warrior's Bud' from my hand to gain its effect!" Yugi declared. "I offer up 'Opening of the Knights', a 4-star Light Attribute card from my hand, and 'Twilight of the Knights', a 4-star Dark Attribute card from my deck, as a ritual tribute!
I ritual summon 'Chaos Soldier' from my graveyard!"
"Heh, so the strongest form of Chaos Soldier appears," Kaiba grunted.
Super Warrior's Bud allowed for a ritual summon, provided the combined levels of the tributes added up to eight. It enabled Yugi to use Light and Dark Attribute monsters from his hand and deck as tributes, summoning Chaos Soldier from either his hand or graveyard.

Ryuo Marufuji exclaimed, "At this critical juncture, a legendary warrior has been summoned."
"It's too strong, Yu Xuan!" Judai couldn't help but blurt out.
Although it was still the battle phase, and Chaos Soldier couldn't use its effect to banish monsters from the game, it still possessed the ability to attack consecutively.
All that remained on Kaiba's field was the White Horn Dragon. Although it had been put in defense mode by the Dragon Destroy Sword, Chaos Soldier's first strike would break through and trigger its consecutive attack effect, allowing it to directly attack and end the duel.
"No way," Marufuji muttered, his eyes involuntarily turning to You Xuan.
Could this guy really defeat even the legendary Seto Kaiba?
"First attack of the Chaos Soldier," You Xuan declared, "Attack the White Horn Dragon!"
The Chaos Soldier leaped into the air, its body spinning in a half-circle as it unleashed countless sword shadows from above.
Kaiba gazed up at the endless sword shadows, his eyes reflecting a momentary daze.

This duel, up to this point, seemed to evoke memories of the past. The Dragon Destroy Sword, the Super Electromagnetic Turtle, and of course, his lifelong rival, the "misfit monster" Kuriboh, among others.
As he was enveloped by the countless sword shadows, he caught a glimpse of the pendant on his opponent's chest, glowing amidst the chaos.
For a moment, he couldn't distinguish if he was facing You Xuan or his old arch-nemesis.
Over the years, the White Dragon had improved and strengthened in all aspects, even reaching the level of powerful monsters like the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the Light Dragon.
Even at this stage, was it still not enough to beat that guy?
"Brother!"
Kyosuke had already called out in worry.
Kaiba: "..."
No.
Even if that guy were here, he wouldn't lose again.
He had already made up his mind about this a long time ago.
The next time they met, it would be as Duel Kings.
"I activate the quick-play spell card, 'Dark Magic Regeneration'!" Kaiba declared.

This was indeed a move befitting of President Kaiba, pulling out such a strange tactic at the very last moment.
And true to Kaiba's nature, the monster he insisted on reviving was none other than...
"Return once again, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!!!"
