As they passed the highest point of the bridge and entered the final stretch, with just twenty minutes remaining before reaching the Central City District, the security personnel in the lead vehicle suddenly became aware of something and looked upwards.
They saw numerous black dots in the sky, flying towards them.
Initially, they thought they were just birds, but upon closer inspection, they realized they were people wearing glider wings, likely having jumped from the rooftop of a coastal skyscraper, judging by the distance and height.
Realizing the potential threat, they immediately reported to the rear.
The figures in the sky adjusted their directions and quickly approached the bridge. Several of them flew directly over the lead vehicles and headed towards the rear, scattering tire-puncturing spikes as they passed.
One of the figures, wearing a special boundary token, scanned the vehicles below and said, "Sister Huan, based on the vehicle analysis, the target is likely in the twenty-second vehicle, and the target's protection is in the twenty-first."
Sister Huan's voice responded, "Execute Plan B. Include both vehicles and nearby vehicles in the attack range."
Although their primary target was Chen Chuan, they needed to attack Meng Shu's vehicle as well to force Chen Chuan to stay put.

The lead team members were now in close proximity. Their parachute packs opened with a bang, creating a brief obstacle before they quickly released the hooks and jumped down, landing on the tops and around the moving vehicles. Their powerful legs absorbed the impact effortlessly.
One of the team members looked up and saw the suspected target vehicle just twenty meters ahead.
