You Xuan inserted his Duel Disk and wore his Dueling Gauntlet, ready to leave his room. But just before he walked out, he felt a slight vibration in his jacket pocket.
You Xuan paused and reached into his pocket, pulling out the miniature Millennium Puzzle, the Seal of Orichalcos. It seemed to be reacting to something, as it had only done in response to powerful dark forces in the past. Perhaps it was because the upcoming duel would determine whether he or Kaiba would directly confront the source of Orichalcos that it was reacting now.
Or maybe it was due to the inherent connection between Kaiba and Atem, eternal rivals bound by a millennia-old destiny of love and conflict. It wouldn't be surprising if the Puzzle reacted to the power of Kaiba and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
But as he held it in his hand, the Puzzle seemed to calm down, showing no further signs of activity.
You Xuan pondered for a moment before deciding to keep the Puzzle with him. He didn't know if it would be useful, but he'd rather be safe than sorry. Aside from the duel with Kaiba, if he were to face the Arbiters, the Puzzle would likely be of assistance.
As he walked down the long corridor and stepped into the dueling arena, it seemed that Kaiba had already been waiting.
"You're here," Kaiba said, slowly opening his eyes to look at You Xuan.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, President Kaiba," You Xuan said as he took his position across from Kaiba.
Kaiba gave a soft laugh. "In just six months, you've changed so much. Well, Fujiki You Xuan, let's see if my faith in you was misplaced or not through this duel."
You Xuan remained silent and simply activated his Duel Disk.
There was no need for pleasantries or excessive words between him and Kaiba. Dueling was the best form of communication for them.
"It's time to duel!" x2

You Xuan glanced at his Duel Disk, seeing the indicator light for the first turn lit up.
Without further ado, he began, "Then I'll take the first turn. My turn, draw!
You Xuan drew a card and, after a quick glance, played it face-down in the back row for defense. "I'll summon a monster in face-down defense mode to the front row and set one card in the back row. My turn is over."
"My turn, draw!" Kaiba exclaimed as he drew his card, and a whirlwind seemed to stir in the dueling arena.
"I activate the magic card, 'Angel's Charity,' allowing me to draw three cards and then discard two cards from my hand!"
Kaiba drew three cards and then discarded two from his hand. "Next, I activate the magic card, 'Cost Down,' discarding the Level-8 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' from my hand to draw two more cards!"
After reshuffling his hand, Kaiba immediately played another card. "I then activate the continuous magic card, 'Different Dimension Warehouse'!"
The magic card materialized, and its power transformed into a pitch-black vortex in the air.
Kaiba's Duel Disk glowed with a faint blue light as data streams flew rapidly towards his Deck, searching for specific cards. Soon, three cards were locked onto and ejected automatically.
Kaiba drew out the three cards and tossed them into the air, where they transformed into holographic images of three mechanical mechas before vanishing into the vortex.
"With 'Different Dimension Warehouse,' I can choose three Level-4 or lower 'Ally of Justice' monsters from my Deck and remove them from play!" Kaiba explained. "I remove 'Y-Dragon Head,' 'Z-Metal Tank,' and 'W-Wing Catapult' from my Deck!" (OCG Card)
You Xuan was familiar with these cards, having seen Manjoume use them in the anime, and now they were in Kaiba's possession.
The XYZ series had been a staple of Kaiba's strategies in DM, and even in GX, Manjoume had obtained them from the Kaiba Corporation as rare cards.
"The effect of 'Different Dimension Warehouse' lets me Special Summon any monsters associated with the banished 'Allies of Justice' monsters when they are Summoned to my field."
Two golden beams shot out from the vortex in the air, landing on either side of Kaiba's field and transforming into a heavy-tracked vehicle and a mechanical flying dragon.
"Appear now, Y-Dragon Head! And Z-Metal Tank!"

"Then, 'X-Head Cannon', 'Y-Dragon Head', and 'Z-Metal Tank' will combine!" Kaiba declared, waving his hand.
The three mechas began to transform, emitting electromagnetic forces that pulled them together. Their parts collided and assembled, forming a tri-colored dragon cannon. The heavy tank treads landed firmly on the ground.

"He's Summoned the Dragon Cannon right off the bat!" Judai exclaimed.
"This is the legendary Seto Kaiba's style of dueling," Ryou Marufuji commented. "It's an overwhelming force that starts off with an all-out offensive."
However, Kaiba merely chuckled.
To him, this was barely an appetizer.
"The effect of XYZ-Dragon Cannon lets me destroy any card on the field by discarding one card from my hand."
He drew and sent a card from his hand to the Graveyard.
"Destroy the face-down card in my Spell & Trap Zone!"
The cannon's barrel lowered, and a torrent of fire was unleashed. The card that You Xuan had set was caught in the barrage, exploding into fragments in mid-air.
Continuous Trap: Dragon's Seal Pot.
"As expected." Kaiba smirked. "Dragon's Seal was indeed my weakness in the past. But I have long since surpassed that version of myself. If you think you can stop my offense with such a simple tactic, then you are sorely mistaken."
You Xuan shrugged.
He knew that Kaiba's deck mainly consisted of Dragon-type monsters but wasn't a "pure" Dragon deck, so he wasn't too surprised.
"It's not over yet," Kaiba continued. "I activate the Spell Card 'Call of the Haunted.' When there is a Machine-type monster on your field, you can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Machine-type monster from your Graveyard."
"A Machine-type monster in the Graveyard," You Xuan realized. "'Angel's Charity' must have discarded it."
Then that Machine-type monster was most likely—
"Appear now, 'V-Tiger Jet'!"

"At this moment, the effect of 'Different Dimension Warehouse' activates once more," Kaiba explained. "When a monster whose name is listed on the banished 'Allies of Justice' card is Summoned, that banished 'Allies of Justice' monster can also be Special Summoned."
He raised his arm, and the last golden beam shot out from the black hole in the air.
"W-Wing Catapult, Special Summon!"

"V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult, combine! And then combine with 'XYZ-Dragon Cannon' for the second phase!" Kaiba commanded. "Combination Summon—
—VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon!"
