"What price did your buyer offer?"
Jerry nonchalantly pushed away the knife that Gamora had placed at his neck, seemingly unconcerned about the sharp blade.
He then naturally got down from the bed and poured himself a cup of the unique Sandal Star's "Puchi Puchi" wine.
The Puchi Puchi wine was a low-degree liquor with a pink surface, made from special materials collected from 250 planets in the universe and brewed using advanced technology. Each bottle was worth millions, and after drinking it, one would feel a unique "puchi puchi" sensation, which was quite amazing.
Jerry had discovered this wine while idly browsing the hotel's bar area. Although he had bought the first bottle, all the subsequent ones he drank were created using his shape-shifting abilities. At his level, making money was incredibly easy, and he could produce a large quantity of this million-dollar wine with just a bit of magic.
"Hey, can you show some respect? My gun is still pointed at you!"
Rocket Raccoon, seeing that Jerry had completely ignored him, jumped onto the bed and pointed his electric gun at Jerry's forehead, furious.
Jerry glanced at Rocket Raccoon's snarling face and handed him the wine bottle: "Oh, sorry, you look like a brand of crispy noodles I used to eat when I was a kid, so it's hard for me to feel threatened. Would you like some wine?"
"Animal? You're calling me an animal? I hate it when people call me an animal! You're mocking me, and I'm going to take you down!"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to mock you, and the bottle you just broke was worth a million dollars."
Jerry drank the remaining Puchi Puchi wine in his cup and shrugged.
"A million dollars!"
Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon stared at the pink liquid flowing on the ground, exclaiming in unison.
They knew that the Ravager team's earnings from a large mission might only be a few million, and after splitting it among the members, each person would only get a few tens of thousands. This was also why Star-Lord had left his team to take on private jobs.
Rocket Raccoon and Groot, as bounty hunters, had dared to use weapons to capture Star-Lord in the imperial capital of Xandar for a mere 40,000 credits. It was clear that tens of thousands of credits were not a small amount for ordinary people.
However, Rocket Raccoon had just smashed a million-dollar bottle of wine on the ground, and now all he could feel was regret.
"Stop dwelling on that; I've already contacted the buyer, and if we retrieve the Cosmic Spirit Sphere, we'll get 4 billion, and each of us will get over a billion!"
Gamora, annoyed by Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon's lack of spirit, reminded them.

Jerry looked at Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Gamora, and smiled. "How about this? I'll also offer 4 billion, and if you help me with a small favor, I can add another billion!"
"5 billion!"
At Jerry's offer, Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Gamora simultaneously widened their eyes in surprise.
What was happening in this universe? Was money no longer valuable?
A small iron ball, and yet there were so many people willing to spend a fortune to buy it.
"Why should we trust that you have that much money?"
Gamora was the first to recover from the shock and asked cautiously.
Her buyer was the famous cosmic collector Thanos, who owned the Void. Thanos definitely had the ability to pay them 4 billion. However, the young man in front of her, who looked to be in his early twenties, was a different story.
Although he lived in the best hotel, the Ggriigga Hotel, and drank million-dollar Puchi Puchi wine, that didn't prove he had the ability to pay 4 billion, or rather, 5 billion.
After all, people who could easily possess such wealth were not unknown to her.
"Shadow Bind!"
Jerry scanned the three of them and then snapped his fingers lightly.

Ten minutes later, Jerry conjured a bottle of Puchi Puchi wine out of thin air and poured a cup for each of the now freed Star-Lord, Gamora, and Rocket Raccoon.
"So, you three are still wanted criminals?"
"Yes, to be precise, there are five of us. Groot and Drax are hiding on a ship outside Xandar, and we snuck in through a smuggler."
Star-Lord explained.
After being effortlessly subdued by Jerry, Star-Lord, Gamora, and Rocket Raccoon realized that Jerry's offer of 5 billion was likely genuine.
Otherwise, Jerry could have easily overpowered them the moment they burst into the room and sent them to prison.
Of course, the most important reason they had to believe him was that the Cosmic Spirit Sphere was in Jerry's hands, and they had no way to retrieve it or get the 4 billion from Thanos.
They had to trust Jerry to keep his word and give them the 5 billion.
So, the three of them openly shared their situations with Jerry.
Star-Lord came from Earth and could be considered Jerry's fellow countryman. As a child, he was secretly taken from Earth by a Ravager mercenary group and became one of their members. Now, he had escaped and was working independently.
Rocket Raccoon and Groot were former inmates who had successfully escaped and turned to bounty hunting to make a living.
Gamora's background was more impressive. She was Thanos's adopted daughter, trained by Thanos from a young age to be a top assassin to complete various covert missions. Thanos had sent her to assist Accuser Ronan in finding the Cosmic Spirit Sphere.
However, Gamora harbored deep hatred for Thanos because he had killed her parents and half of her people on Zen-Whoberis. She wanted to use the money from selling the Cosmic Spirit Sphere to break away from Thanos and Accuser Ronan and live her own life.
