The mischievous blue-haired, twin-tailed Time Goddess appeared with a playful trick of her own, as the powerful magic summoned her. Her wand swayed gently, unleashing divine power, and a semi-transparent time wheel appeared on the field, its hands accelerating forward in a frenzied leap.
In an instant, an entire turn was skipped, bringing them back to the Battle Phase of the Judge's next turn!
"Well then, let's have the strongest overall attack of the Elemental Heroes demonstrated by Mr. Hibiki himself." The Judge declared, "First, to all the Elemental Heroes, drawing inspiration from 'Orichalcos,' liberate the darkness within and unleash your true power!"
Every Hero within the barrier was affected, their eyes glowing with a dangerous red light, and a six-pointed star appeared on their foreheads.

The Judge paused, narrowing his eyes.
"But Wildheart has a very interesting effect, don't you think, Mr. Hibiki?"
Hibiki Hibiki's face darkened as he replied, "Elemental Hero Wildheart gains three hundred attack points for each Elemental Hero excluded from playing this turn."
"His attack power increases based on the number of excluded Heroes. We're in trouble!" Keihei exclaimed, realizing the implications of the chain material effect.
All the Heroes that the Judge had used as Fusion Material were now excluded from play.
"Indeed," the Judge continued, "with the four fusions I performed this turn, a total of eight Elemental Heroes have been removed from the game. So, Wildheart's attack power is..."

"...5,500 attack points!" Keihei's face paled at the realization.
In an instant, five powerful monsters were summoned, including one as formidable as this.
"Let's start with the 'Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer' and have him attack Mr. Hibiki directly." The Judge ordered.
The Phoenix Enforcer punched with a fiery fist, the force of which seemed to pierce Hibiki Hibiki's heart, leaving a trail of burning pain.
The intense searing sensation felt like his soul had been punctured and his heart melted. Hibiki's pupils contracted, and for a moment, he felt his breath catch in his throat.

He stumbled backward, kneeling on one knee, his hand clutching his chest. His face was ashen, and he gasped for air.
This was the same excruciating pain he had felt during that fateful night when a demon had sniped at him, leaving him psychologically scarred and nearly broken.
"Hibiki!" his sister cried out from the audience.
"Mr. Hibiki!"
And there was Judai.
Their shouts snapped him out of his icy torment and brought him back to reality.
"It's not over yet."
He pushed himself up from his knee, standing shakily. His breathing was labored, and his body trembled, resembling a long-ill patient. Yet, his eyes held the fierce determination of an unyielding lion.
"Impressive resolve, befitting of a man known as the champion. But how long can that frail body of yours withstand this onslaught?

The storm hero, Great Tornado, spread his arms wide, and thunderclouds gathered in the sky. Black thunderbolts fell, accompanied by deafening roars, and the whirlwind swept towards Hong Ye in a frenzy!
There were still four consecutive attacks left from the four elemental heroes. Hong Ye's swaying body seemed like a leaf in a storm, as if a single wave could sweep him away without a trace.
"Trap card activation."
He struggled to open a backrow slot.
"Absorption Shield. Negate one monster's attack and absorb its attack power value in LP."
Great Tornado's countless wind blades slammed into the colorful barrier. All the energy impacts were absorbed, turning into a warm golden light that flowed into his body.

Hong Ye barely stood upright, struggling to regulate his chaotic breathing.
It might have been an illusion, but he felt that the warm current flowing into his body had restored some of his strength, adding a hint of color to his pale face and alleviating much of the hidden illness within his frail body.
The Judge nodded, "Barely withstood the second attack. Not bad. But wait, the power of the Elemental Heroes is far from over."
He gestured with his finger.
"Third attack. 'Elemental Hero Neos,' direct attack."

This time, it was a scorching flame that transformed into a sword energy and slashed towards him. The blazing sword blade seared through his body, causing him to almost lose consciousness again.

The Judge observed Hong Ye in front of him, taking note of the smoke rising from his body and his unsteady stance.
"To be honest, you've exceeded my expectations," he said indifferently, "For a dark duel of this level, the will of a mere human shouldn't be able to persist this far.
With your physical condition and state, it's already surprising that you didn't collapse after the first blow."
Hong Ye gasped for breath.
But he lifted his head, and his eyes still shone with unwavering determination.
"I am a professional duelist," he said, "No matter the type of duel or the reason, I will never allow myself to give up halfway."
As he spoke, he glanced at Judai in the audience with the corner of his eye, who was watching him with great concern.
Especially not when dueling in front of an important junior of his.
"Hahaha, a commendable spirit. It's this kind of soul that captivates others." The Judge said indifferently, "Then, as you wish, continue the attack.
