Chapter 390: Boggart Transformation
Chapter 390: Boggart Transformation
"System, activate Protection Mode!" Ivan said.
[Five legendary points have been deducted. You now have 0 remaining.]
With the system’s prompt in his mind, Ivan’s world instantly changed. The Magic Power in his body became abnormally active, giving him a sense of control over everything.
Ivan, who had experienced this before, did not indulge in the feeling. He immediately drank the fusion potion.
The Green Liquid flowed smoothly down his throat, feeling as mild as plain water, with no particular taste.
However, just a moment later, a mix of sour, sweet, and bitter flavors burst out all at once. Ivan clutched his stomach, his face contorting, barely managing to keep from vomiting.
What alarmed Ivan even more was that after the liquid entered his body, under the inner vision effect of Protection Mode, he clearly saw the liquid gradually transform into Green Mist, spreading from his stomach to his entire body, and finally seeping into his skin!
A tingling sensation spread from every part of his body to his mind, making Ivan feel both unbearable and deeply concerned about whether he would end up with some bizarre appearance after fusing with the Boggart’s blood.
His body suddenly felt soft and boneless, as if his head could sink into his body at any moment due to gravity.
At that moment, other forces within his body were awakened. The Magic Power representing the Unicorn dispersed from his blood, pushing back the Green Mist.
The Magic Power of the Basilisk in his brain also came into play, driving the Green Mist out of his mind. In this three-way battle, his body gradually returned to normal.
But Ivan could not feel any joy.
If this continued, his plan to fuse with the Boggart’s blood would likely fail. So, Ivan quickly gathered all the Magic Power he could control and forcibly suppressed the Unicorn and Basilisk forces.
Once free from the suppression, the Green Mist returned with a vengeance.
This time, without any interference, all the mist smoothly merged into his skin. Ivan felt himself on the verge of transforming into a Jelly-like Slime, his body constantly changing.
Time ticked by, and every so often, a message about a significant increase in Magic Power would sound in Ivan’s mind.
However, this time, the intervals between the messages were longer, possibly because the Boggart’s power was far weaker than that of the Basilisk and Unicorn, or due to the diminishing returns from multiple fusions.
After about a minute, just a few seconds before Protection Mode expired, the transformation finally came to an end. Everything returned to normal, and his body no longer felt soft and on the verge of collapsing into a pancake.
Ivan moved his limbs to adjust to the changes, then immediately waved his wand to create a full-length mirror, carefully examining his appearance for any alterations.
It would be disastrous if fusing with a Boggart resulted in disfigurement.
"Thank goodness, I still look as handsome as ever!" Ivan sighed in relief, looking at his reflection in the mirror, and said with certainty.
Finally, he opened the system’s status panel to check what changes the third bloodline fusion would bring.

"Indeed, it's a transformation ability!" Ivan saw the newly added Boggart Transformation in the bloodline magic section and was not surprised.
After all, the most obvious ability of a Boggart is to detect fear and transform at will.
Compared to just detecting fear, the transformation ability is clearly better, as detecting fear alone is not as useful as learning Legilimency.
At the same time, Ivan noticed that his Animagus Transformation had disappeared from his status bar.
This indicated that the bloodline magic he gained this time was likely integrated into a specific magic, significantly enhancing its power.
And the magic that was enhanced this time was the Animagus Transformation!
Another significant change was the substantial increase in his total Magic Power. According to his status bar, his Magic Power had increased by about twenty points, surpassing the Magic Power of an average adult wizard.
However, compared to the professors, elite Aurors from the Ministry of Magic, and especially Dumbledore, there was still a noticeable gap.
Thinking about this, Ivan couldn't help but wonder when he would have enough Magic Power to cast powerful spells at will.
If he had as much Magic Power as Dumbledore, he could easily stare someone to death with just a glance!
After indulging in this fantasy, Ivan quickly adjusted his mindset and returned to reality, starting to explore his newly acquired transformation ability.
Ivan tried to visualize the creature he wanted to transform into in his mind, eventually settling on a Troll he had seen before.
Once he confirmed his choice, Magic Power began to flow throughout his body. Ivan felt his body become like clay, stretching and expanding, growing taller and becoming stronger and more powerful.
This feeling was similar to Animagus Transformation, but even more magical!
After the transformation was complete, Ivan stared at his reflection in the full-length mirror.
The mirror reflected a massive creature, over 12 feet tall, with grayish-white skin and a robust, muscular build. The small head perched on top of the body looked quite comical.
"Gurrrl, Ukaka" Ivan grunted, producing some strange sounds, and it took him a while to figure out how to speak properly.
"Very good, this transformation looks perfect!" Ivan struggled to articulate these words, lifting his arm and clenching his fist, feeling the immense strength.
And with his current Level 6 Transfiguration Spell, he couldn't detect any flaws in his transformation.
As for why he chose to transform into a Troll, an ugly creature?
He just wanted to confirm something!
With that thought, Ivan raised his massive fist, the size of a sandbag, and punched the nearby cabinet.
The cabinet, over two meters tall, was smashed through with a hole, and then, with a grinding sound, it wobbled and collapsed, sending a cloud of dust into the air.
