The B-ultrasound room was conveniently empty, and Gao Jie pulled Jiang Xia inside.
Zhou Chenglei asked, "Can I come in and take a look?"
Gao Jie smiled at him, "Come in!"
A few minutes later, Jiang Xia lay on the hospital bed.
Zhou Chenglei held Jiang Xia's hand, his eyes wide open, staring at the screen without blinking.
The screen was a blur of gray.
Gao Jie pointed to three black dots, "It's only seven weeks, still in the gestational sac stage."
The ultrasound doctor measured the sizes, "The three gestational sacs are one large and two small. One is about three centimeters, and the other two are around two centimeters."
Zhou Chenglei tried hard to memorize the appearance and size of the babies, "Is it normal for them to be so different?"
Jiang Xia looked at the screen, but she didn't understand much. She turned her head to look at Gao Jie as well.
Gao Jie explained, "It's normal. You're expecting triplets, so it's natural to have some differences in size. Just like children, some are chubby and some are skinny. Moreover, for single pregnancies, the gestational sac usually grows to about three centimeters at seven weeks, but two centimeters is also common. It depends on the mother's constitution. "Let's go home first. I'll bring some rice and join the line later."
Jiang Xia said, "You park the car first, and I'll go line up. Do I need to bring rice or can I just pay?"
Zhou Chenglei stopped the car and turned to stop someone who was eager to get off, "Go home and get some corn to add. It'll taste even better."
With so many people around, it was quite chaotic.
