Chapter 381: The Light That Illuminates All
Chapter 381: The Light That Illuminates All
An immense and irresistible power erupted from Feng Ye's body, surging outwards from him in all directions.
This was Shinra Tensei, released at the Rikudo level, one of the most powerful techniques capable of creating a moon-destroying force, known as Chibaku Tensei.
The CP0 Captain-General...
The Supreme Commander...
The Five Elders...
Almost everyone unleashed their powers without hesitation, pushing their Haki to the limit. Brilliant lights of various colors shone as they tried to withstand the Shinra Tensei released by Feng Ye.
Among them were the slashes of great swordsmen, the rumbling earth, air cannons created by powerful fists, and explosions from some sort of natural fruit abilities.
But all of this,
upon contacting the Shinra Tensei released by Feng Ye at the Rikudo level, crumbled like dry weeds, collapsing one after another!
The pinnacle powers of this world were strong. The strongest among them could pulverize islands, flatten mountains with ease, and rival the likes of Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama. Yet, these forces were still beneath the Rikudo level.
Armament Haki, similar in nature to Celestial Techniques, had some effect on Rikudo-level powers, but it was inherently lacking. It was like scattered sand colliding with solid rock, only to be scattered instantly.
Not to mention, Feng Ye stood at the very pinnacle of the Rikudo level!
This world was far larger than that of the ninja realm. A single island in the Grand Line could rival the entire Land of Water in size, and the Grand Line's area was but a fraction of the Calm Belt. Even the toughness of the space here surpassed that of the ninja world.
The vast Red Line continent that divided the world was truly deserving of the name 'continent', with a horizontal width that could encompass an entire country.
But.
Even so, the Shinra Tensei at the Rikudo level effortlessly covered the entire Holy Land. It erupted from the center, spreading to both sides of the Red Line continent!
The colorful lights faded as they touched the white light blooming in the sky, and the entire land, with Feng Ye at its center, was pushed outwards layer by layer, as if struck by a meteor. All structures crumbled like dry weeds, destroyed in an instant.
"Ah... Ahh..."
The Five Elders and the members of CP0 roared, exerting all their might to resist, but their Armament Haki continued to shatter, and they were engulfed by the shockwave, flying backward.
At the edge of the Holy Land at that moment.
The lives created by Feng Ye, all those slaves brought here, stared in a daze, disbelief etched on their faces as they witnessed the Holy Land crumbling in large chunks, the destruction spreading relentlessly.
The collapse eventually reached the edge of the Holy Land and extended to both sides of the Red Line continent, pushing countless shattered buildings and debris out to sea.
"Wh-What..."
"What is this..."
Hancock's two sisters, Marigold and Sandersonia, were frozen in shock.
The countless building fragments were pushed right up to their front, stopping just a few dozen meters away.
They could even see the blood dripping from the rubble, flowing from a corpse that was only half-visible. And that corpse, wearing the uniform of the World Nobles, the Celestial Dragons!
"...Am I dreaming?
As she stood there in a daze, rubble tumbled down from the pile of buildings, rolling in her direction. It came to a stop right before her feet, gently brushing against her shin.
This slight touch snapped her out of her stupor.
Hancock gazed at the ruins before her, her throat moved, and then as if compelled by some unseen force, she began to walk forward slowly.
She climbed up the pile of rubble, which was several dozen meters high, and reached the top. Looking forward, her entire body froze once more.
There!
Where Marijoa, the Holy Land, should have stood, was now nothing but emptiness. Every building and trace of its existence had vanished without a trace!
All that remained was a barren, depressed patch of red earth, stretching as far as the eye could see, not a single person in sight.
Marijoa, the Holy Land—
Was gone!
Hancock raised her hand to cover her mouth, her eyes wide with shock as the scene imprinted itself indelibly in her mind.
In the midst of her shock, she slowly raised her head to look at the sky.
The white light that had filled the heavens was now gone, and a figure slowly descended towards the ground—it was Feng Ye.
In that moment.
Hancock's mind echoed with Feng Ye's words, and she relived the scenes of the Holy Land's complete annihilation.
Feel the pain,
Consider the pain,
Accept the pain,
Understand the pain,
...
Having been trafficked multiple times by slave traders and eventually ending up in Marijoa, the Holy Land, in the hands of the World Nobles, Hancock was all too familiar with what they represented.
The World Nobles represented this world. They controlled the World Government and held sway over nearly half of the nations in it. Both the Navy and CP0 were but mere tools for them, and they could even directly command the Navy admirals.
No one dared to defy the World Nobles because to do so would be to challenge the world itself!
But now...
The Holy Land was gone.
The World Nobles were gone.
The World Government had vanished.
That figure, standing in the sky with outstretched arms, radiating dazzling white light, making the world feel pain, and destroying Marijoa, now shone forever in her heart, an inextinguishable radiance.
It was not a light that pulled her out of the abyss of darkness but one that illuminated the entire abyss, dispelling the shadows and destroying the depths themselves!
Silence fell.
Feng Ye landed in the center of the devastated Holy Land. His gaze swept across the barren land, then turned to the ruins that had been pushed to the edges of the Red Earth Continent, and he saw the slaves who had climbed atop the wreckage, their faces etched with shock and disbelief as they stared at him.
In that moment, in the eyes of everyone present, Feng Ye—
Was indistinguishable from a god!
