Chapter 371: The Conclusion (Part 2)
Chapter 371: The Conclusion (Part 2)
Julia, Hunter Leo, and Linen faced off against each other, with a tense atmosphere filling the air.
Besides the three of them, there were others present, but they wisely kept their distance, retreating to the edges of the hall. Among them were White Crow and Jack.
Hunter Leo's Demon Hunter Corps, the Abyssal Cottage Cultivators, and Ron, who released Madman Walter, all stood at the entrance, watching the situation unfold.
"Linen?" Charlotte exclaimed in surprise. "He's become a Tier 3 Wizard?"
"Indeed!"
Beastman Nicol's expression was peculiar as he muttered, "It's not just about becoming a Tier 3 Wizard; he's even capable of facing off against Hunter Leo."
Hunter Leo, the leader of the Demon Hunter Corps, was a peak Tier 3 Wizard and the head of a formidable force. In the eyes of many, his strength surpassed even that of Dean Aksha, who was considered past his prime.
"Kill!"
With a furious roar, countless elemental particles converged in the hall, forming arrows that hung in mid-air, aimed at the other two.
The sheer intensity of their auras was enough to make the onlookers' hearts race and their bodies shiver in the chilling atmosphere. The pressure of facing such a direct assault was unimaginable.
"Roar!"
A dragon's roar echoed, and a flame dragon, dozens of meters long, materialized out of thin air. Its scales shimmered with brilliance, and its claws gleamed.
Simultaneously, a torrent of raging flames surged around the dragon, forming a fiery armor that blocked the incoming arrows.
"Miss Julia," Linen bowed his head and muttered, "Let's deal with Leo first, and then we can fight."
"..." Julia stepped on a leaf, her jade bracelet spinning around her, deflecting the arrows. Her eyes darted quickly, "Agreed!"
Both Julia and Linen had just advanced to Tier 3, and while their abilities were impressive, they lacked the depth of experience compared to a peak Tier 3 Wizard.
Moreover, Leo, as the leader of a powerful force, had more combat experience than these two younger wizards.
The best strategy was to join forces and eliminate the strongest opponent first.
"Freeze!" Linen's fingers twitched, and space stasis immobilized his target.
"Roar!" Linen unleashed the Annihilation Sword, its annihilation power transforming into a red glow that surged towards Leo.
Spell - Weapon Connection!
Secret Technique - Sword Control!
...
"Damn!"
Leo was frozen in place by the immobilization spell, unable to move his body, but his inner sea of spirit remained active.
The wizard's robe on his body suddenly trembled, and a skull encased in blue ghostly flames flew out.
"Shriek..."
The skull opened its mouth, emitting a shrill roar.
Invisible sound waves swept through the area, causing some of the distant onlookers to faint, and the incoming Annihilation Sword to momentarily halt.
"A Tier 4 Artifact!" Linen's eyes narrowed, but his actions remained unchanged. He manipulated the Annihilation Sword to slash at the skull.
"Clash!"
The skull and the sword collided, causing both to recoil.
The ghostly flames on the skull disrupted Linen's connection with his weapon and even seared his soul through that connection.
Similarly, Leo had not anticipated this. Although the Annihilation Sword was only Tier 3, the materials used were extremely rare, and its annihilation power was a bane to all existence. Combined with Linen's exquisite sword technique, a crack immediately appeared on the skull.
"Again!"
Enduring the stinging pain in his inner sea of spirit, Linen growled and continued to attack the skull with the Annihilation Sword.
Meanwhile, Julia chanted, and her right eye transformed into a vortex. A ghostly figure burst out from within.
This was a 'Wraith' sealed within her second eye.
Unlike 'Ghosts,' 'Wraiths' were imbued with the power of laws, making them incredibly difficult to kill.
When Julia was at Tier 2, each time she controlled a 'Wraith,' her body would suffer greatly. Now, at Tier 3, it was relatively easier.
"Swoosh!"
The wraith, unaffected by various magical barriers, appeared before Leo, only to be knocked down by the longbow.
As a treasured heirloom passed down through generations of Demon Hunter Corps leaders, the longbow was not only a powerful Tier 4 artifact but also possessed unique abilities.
However, under the relentless assault of two Third Rank Wizards, Leo began to show signs of panic.
"Phew..."
Julia exhaled, lightly tapping her staff.
Secret Technique - Mana Liberation!
Third Rank Spell - Chaos Storm!
Mana Liberation was similar to Magic Mirror and Ujur's Wrath, temporarily boosting one's spiritual power, but while the latter two affected multiple people, Mana Liberation only affected the user.
Instantly, Julia's spiritual power surged to the late Third Rank, and the power of her spells multiplied several times over.
"Roar!"
A flame dragon roared.
Third Rank Spell - Crimson Ribbon!
Third Rank Spell - Flame Storm!
...
With the combined efforts of two exceptionally talented Third Rank Wizards, Hunter Leo let out a wail of despair and stumbled backward.

"Swoosh!"
A mysterious object appeared in his hand, and behind him, a rift in the void opened, swallowing him whole.
He escaped!
Linen's eyes flickered, and his attack didn't stop there. The damaged Annihilation Sword suddenly burst with an unprecedented radiance and slashed towards Julia.
"Boom!"
The sword energy thundered, swift as lightning.
Without hesitation, Julia's wraith flickered, and she charged towards Linen.
Tier 4 Artifact - Twelve Star Palace!
Linen raised his hand, releasing the Twelve Star Palace, trapping the approaching wraith within, struggling to break free itself.
At the same time.
The Annihilation Sword was shattered by a stone that appeared out of nowhere.
A Tier 4 Artifact!
The two locked eyes, their faces hardening.
Neither had expected that during their confrontation with Hunter Leo, he had also held back his full strength.
"A Tier 4 Artifact?"
Julia pursed her lips.
"Who are you?"
The 'Twelve Star Palace' was no ordinary Tier 4 Artifact but a replica of a special artifact.
Though a replica, it was still exceptional. Reforged by its original, within the Tier 4 category, the Twelve Star Palace was among the best.
An ordinary wizard—how could they possess such a thing?
"Does it matter?"
Linen, in his flame dragon form, opened his mouth, and a thick, crimson flame shot towards Julia.
"Roar!"
The flame dragon's body coiled, and with a swift movement, it appeared beside Julia, its claws slashing like blades.
As a wizard, he excelled in close combat.
"Cling, clang..."
The Tier 4 Artifact surrounding Julia spun, yet it too was suppressed by the dragon claws, inching inward.
"Swoosh!"
Tier 4 Artifact - Inverted Platform!
A sandglass appeared above Julia's head, and as the sand within poured downward, Linen's flame dragon body began to distort, as if squeezed by an invisible force.
"Heh..."
Linen breathed, his mouth gaping wide.
Primordial Annihilation True Flame!
"Boom!"
"Crack..."
Two Tier 4 Artifacts appeared with cracks, and Julia groaned, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
How could this be?
I, a Roll Family core bloodline, how could I lose to another who just advanced to the Third Rank?
"Twelve Star Palace!"
Linen roared, and the space around them distorted, shrinking inward, and Julia vanished from sight.
"Puff!"
Linen spat blood, stumbling to the ground. He waved his staff, summoning a flame wall before him.
"Who dares to intrude?"
"Kill!"
Those who had been ready to pounce hesitated, their actions halted.
