Chapter 37: Marauder's Map
After the match, George and Fred didn't even attend the celebration. They eagerly found Ivan, and the three of them quietly gathered in an empty classroom.
Ivan placed the fifteen Galleons, along with a large amount of Sickles and Knuts, on the table.
According to their previously agreed-upon split, Ivan took forty percent, which amounted to six Galleons, nineteen Sickles, and twenty-eight Knuts. The rest went to the Weasley brothers.
Ivan's earnings also included the winnings from his bet with Malfoy.
"So much?" George looked at the money on the table, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Don't be fooled by their ability to come up with five Galleons before; that was the result of years of saving. It wasn't like now, where they could earn so much so easily.
"If we could do this every year, we'd be rich, wouldn't we?" Fred fantasized.
"Forget it. This kind of thing isn't good, and one time is enough. Besides, the Secrecy Charm isn't completely foolproof. If we keep this up, we'll eventually get caught", Ivan shook his head, dispelling their unrealistic thoughts.
George and Fred exchanged glances, their smiles fading, and they nodded solemnly.
"Of course, we don't want to get caught. With this money, we should have enough to start our initial development. In the future, we can earn Galleons by selling our joke items!"
"We've discussed it and decided to hire you as our special consultant. What do you think?" Talking about joke items, Fred returned to his usual cheerful demeanor, instantly lightening the serious atmosphere.

Delicate ink lines suddenly spread from the tip of Ivan's wand, like spider webs, covering every corner of the parchment. At the top, green cursive letters appeared:

The moment Ivan received the Marauder's Map, his eyes scanned the lively names on the map.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione were in the Gryffindor common room, and Ivan guessed they were celebrating the Quidditch victory. He tried to find more names and soon spotted Peter Pettigrew nearby.
Ivan had always been puzzled in his previous life why the Weasley brothers, who possessed the Marauder's Map, never noticed a guy named Peter Pettigrew following their brother for several semesters.
Now, with the Marauder's Map in hand, Ivan understood that the map wasn't infallible.
Or perhaps the parchment was too small, and Hogwarts too vast, making it only possible to roughly determine the general area where each person was. With over a thousand names of students and professors mixed together, and the dormitories and common rooms being particularly crowded with names, the addition of Peter Pettigrew would hardly stand out.

George's smile faded slightly as he looked at the Galleons on the table.
"Fred and I don't know what you need so much money for, but we guessed that once you got this money, you wouldn't just stay in school quietly.
We've memorized all the contents of the Marauder's Map, and it will be more useful in your hands!"
"Yeah, we don't want our new special consultant to run into any trouble", Fred patted Ivan on the shoulder.
"Thanks", Ivan was somewhat moved but didn't say much more. He quietly remembered their kindness in his heart.
