Chapter 368: Opening the Door
Chapter 368: Opening the Door
The giant flame palm, the size of a house, emanated scorching heat as it drew closer. Despite being a casual strike, it was empowered by the mental energy of a Third Circle Wizard, making it formidable.
"Hmph..."
Theodore showed disdain, raising his hand towards the fiery giant palm:
"Playing with fire in front of me?"
"How absurd!"
As he lifted his palm, the approaching flame giant hand rapidly contracted, eventually turning into a thin line of fire that vanished into his palm.
Theodore shook off the remaining sparks from his hand, a smirk forming on his lips:
"You probably don't know the magic heritage I cultivate, nor have you heard of the Fire Devourer."
"Fire!"
"It's my nourishment!"
He was only a Second Circle Wizard, yet dispelling the magic of a Third Circle Wizard was effortless for him.
Gear Jack and the Three-Eyed Raven's faces paled instantly.
The Rol Family...
Truly terrifying!
"Fire Devourer?"
Lynn's eyes flickered:
"Your cultivation seems to be the Flame Crown, and you've likely modified your bloodline to enhance your fire devouring ability."
"Hmm?"
Theodore's eyes narrowed:
"You actually know about the Flame Crown?"
Identifying his magic heritage was easy for the Four Great Powers and the Nine Noble Families, but outsiders rarely knew about it.
Especially the name Flame Crown, which was known to very few.
Lynn,
A minor figure who had never left Viper Academy, had seen through his cultivation technique at a glance.
This couldn't help but make Theodore puzzled, even amazed.
"The Flame Crown heritage is impressive, but you're just a Second Circle Wizard, incapable of unleashing its full power."
Lynn's expression remained calm as he lightly waved his staff, summoning over a dozen fireballs into the air.
Fireball Barrage!
Summoning fireballs was a common magic for fire wizards, quick and convenient, but its power was mediocre.
However, that was when others cast it.
Lynn was different!
As a Third Circle Wizard, empowered by the Flame Heart and the Fire Dragon Bloodline, his ordinary magic was equally formidable.
The dozen fireballs burning in the sky even caused the space to distort slightly, making Theodore's expression change.
"Third Circle!"
"How can you possibly be a Third Circle Wizard?"
The opponent was here to break through the First Environment Realm, and even if successful, they should be a Second Circle Wizard.
Now...
"Surprised?"
Lynn smiled faintly, "Unfortunately, I'll disappoint you."
"Hmph!"
After the initial surprise, Theodore returned to normal, humming lightly, "So what if you're a Third Circle Wizard? A Third Circle from a small place like this has died by my hand before."
"Attack!"
He waved at the several people beside him, "Kill them, no need to hold back."
"Yes, sir!"
Theodore had a total of four wizards by his side, one of whom was also a Third Circle Wizard.
Third Circle Magic - Ice Explosion!
A streak of extreme coldness emerged from the void, rapidly expanding in all directions.
If this coldness were released in a human city, it could freeze an entire city into an ice mountain within ten seconds.
To be recruited by the Rol Family, one must be no ordinary wizard.
"Cold!"
The Three-Eyed Raven screeched, swaying and leading the three towards the coldness.
"How can even space be frozen?"
Its innate ability to traverse the void slowed down in the face of the coldness.
"You forget the theory of suction in physics; the universe can die, and space and time can change due to energy variations."
Lynn drew out the Annihilation Sword with his right hand, swinging it forward, crushing the approaching coldness:
"But this is a world of magic, and ice magic isn't superior to fire magic."
The Annihilation Sword directly manipulated the concept of 'life', and even coldness could be extinguished.
Third Circle Magic - Crimson Ribbon!
Over a hundred crimson ribbons, each several meters long, emerged from Lynn's back, rushing towards Theodore.
The crimson ribbon moved with the agility of a swimming fish, swiftly weaving through the air, its inner heat capable of melting alloys.
These ribbons automatically locked onto targets and launched attacks.
"I'll handle Theodore and the Third Circle Wizard, the rest are yours."
"Alright!"
Gear Jack nodded heavily.
Both he and the Three-Eyed White Crow were at the peak of the Second Circle, possessing numerous abilities and showing no fear towards the wizards recruited by the Roll Family.
Especially...
Jack had just refined several rare metals, feeling a significant boost in his strength.
"Peng!"
A golden-hued ape, its body shimmering with golden light, leaped out from the opposite side, pounding its fists like hammers.
"Boom..."
Jack grunted, staggering backward, his face filled with surprise as he examined the cracks on his body.
"Even this can be broken?"
His body had undergone dozens of magical modifications, making it incredibly tough and capable of withstanding Third Circle magic to some extent.

"Heh..."
The ape chuckled lowly:
"A small-town wizard, clueless about the Roll Family's heritage."
"Die!"
The ape's body flickered, its massive form appearing instantly in front of Jack, its hands like hooks, grasping fiercely.
"Clang..."
"Ding ding dang..."
The rapid clanging sounds filled the air.
Jack stumbled backward, looking a bit disheveled, but the tension from earlier had faded from his face.
"Turns out you're a physical combat specialist, strong but lacking in versatility."
Second Circle Wizard - Gear Trap!
"Gua!"
The Three-Eyed White Crow flapped its wings, stirring up gusts of wind that carried space-cutting wind blades.
Its single eye flashed with a mysterious light, and its body weaved through the void, occasionally launching attacks.
Engaging two opponents, it held its ground.
On the other side.
Linen unleashed a series of Second Circle spells, surprisingly suppressing the Third Circle Wizard recruited by the Roll Family.
Even with Theodore's assistance, the situation didn't change.
"A Third Circle Wizard with such deep heritage, who exactly are you?"
Theodore's brows furrowed, and he shook his head lightly:
"It doesn't matter."
He raised one hand high, his face solemn:
"Flame!"
"Boom!"
A ball of flame ignited, transforming into countless fire lines that entwined in the air, eventually forming a giant magic array.
Ujur's Wrath!
Within this magic array, the strength of Theodore and his companion increased significantly.
Even...
A Second Circle wizard like him could cast Third Circle spells.
"Umm..."
Linen pursed his lips:
"I know this magic too."
He lifted his hand.
Magic Mirror!
Violent psychic power raged within the field, and the elemental particles in the Star Realm visibly gathered at a rapid pace.
It's over!
Theodore's face turned deathly pale.
"It won't open."
Sorceress Cherrie inspected the door before her, eventually shaking her head in resignation. She turned to look at the figure not far away.
"Team up?"
"After opening the door, what then?" Madman Walter asked in a low voice.
"Then it's a test of our abilities." Sorceress Cherrie's face twisted into a smile:
"Old friend, you've been trapped for centuries, I doubt you're better than me."
"If it were outside, I'd definitely be no match for you." Madman Walter grinned, not refuting her:
"But this is the Titan Core!"
He waved his hand, and the space-time around them quietly changed, causing Sorceress Cherrie's face to pale slightly.
"Alright then."
Nodding, Sorceress Cherrie looked behind her:
"Let's deal with the Roll Family first!"
"Deal with them?"
Julia approached with three people, and as she did, a black aura ignited around the three mysterious wizards:
"If you want to deal with me, one of you will have to fall. Who among you has the courage?"
Madman Walter licked the corner of his mouth, his crimson eyes lingering on the three mysterious wizards.
"Then let's go in?"
Sorceress Cherrie suggested:
"Once inside, it's a test of our abilities."
