Chapter 364: Four Days
Chapter 364: Four Days
Over the next two days, Su Yu didn’t leave Bobby’s building.
Intelligence Minister Hilton, along with five other Sages, conducted a meticulous aerial search, flying over Su Yu’s head four times! However, Su Yu managed to survive this crisis unscathed thanks to his prolonged use of the Invisibility Spell and the Master’s Mana Restoration Potion to replenish his mana.
During these two days, Su Yu had considered teaming up with Morning Star to instantly kill one of the Sages. They had the capability to do so. However, given that Trener City was guarded by an Eighth-Rank Divine powerhouse, they would find it difficult to escape unharmed after making their move. Thus, he had to abandon that idea.
Hilton was equally frustrated.
At first, they were confident they could find Su Yu. The search was efficient, and everyone was committed. However, as time wore on, their enthusiasm and confidence waned.
By the end of the second day, none of the Sages believed they could find Su Yu anymore. They all began to go through the motions, putting in less effort.
Hilton was well aware that continuing the search would be futile and counterproductive. Reluctantly, he called the other five Sages over to discuss how to wrap things up.
The six Sages gathered above the north side of the slums (coincidentally, directly above Su Yu), and several of them wore expressions of subtle relief.
Hilton sighed, “If I’m not mistaken, that human from Earth has likely already left the slums. There’s no point in continuing the search.”
The five Sages collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
One of the Sages, a gender-neutral figure, stepped forward to give Hilton an out, “Minister, you’re right. We’ve searched the slums eight or nine times over the past two days and found nothing. Continuing would be pointless.”
Hilton nodded and saluted the Sages, “Everyone, thank you for your hard work. Let’s go report to the Chancellor and then get some rest.”
“Yes, Minister,” the Sages replied. “If we get any new information about that human, we’ll let you know.”
They exchanged pleasantries and flew off toward the Chancellor’s residence to give their report.
No one noticed that as they left, a faint, invisible starlight beam shot out from the building below and embedded itself into Hilton’s body.
Twenty minutes after the Sages departed, Su Yu’s figure gradually materialized from the void.
“Phew, finally gone!” He wiped the sweat from his brow.
Trener City was truly a den of dragons. If he didn’t have his Invisibility Spell and the Hearthstone as his ace in the hole, he would have likely been captured and killed!
Morning Star also emerged from the pet space, shaking out her fur. “Meow, finally gone! I was about to suffocate in there!” She then pulled out her phone and started playing with it.
“Morning Star, did your Star Beacon work?” Su Yu asked.
The Star Beacon was the starlight that had just embedded itself into Hilton’s body. This skill allowed her to mark a target and gain access to their vision and other senses without being detected, making it perfect for surveillance.
“Don’t worry about it!” Morning Star patted Su Yu’s shoulder with her paw. “With me keeping an eye on Hilton, you can focus on your tasks. I’ll let you know if anything happens.”
“Good to hear.”
Su Yu let out a sigh of relief and used the mental connection provided by his Mind Control skill to contact Bobby.
Three minutes later, Bobby returned to Su Yu's side and knelt before him. "Master, I have returned."
"Hello, Bobby," Su Yu nodded at him. "Now, I have a few tasks for you to handle."
Before he knew it, two more days had passed.
During these two days, Su Yu didn't leave the apartment building. Instead, he remotely directed Bobby to handle various tasks for him.
Su Yu mixed 20 kilograms of gold with sand to create dog-head gold, cut it into small pieces, and had Bobby sell it in small batches on the black market, earning him approximately 6 million Lankert coins.
Using these 6 million Lankert coins plus the 1.52 million Bobby already had, Su Yu instructed Bobby and his gang to purchase a large quantity of electronic devices, ranging from low-end to high-end, and from the latest technology to models from decades ago.
They also bought several floating cars, including the latest models and century-old collector's items.
Su Yu planned to bring these items back to Blue Star for the scientists to study, which should help advance Blue Star's technological level.
Additionally, to fulfill his promise to the game inspector, Donna, Su Yu specifically bought her some pearl powder for skin care and some beautiful tail decorations, such as a platinum ring set with a sapphire, which he would give her upon his return.
Apart from shopping, Su Yu also had Bobby spend money on the black market to gather information about the two seniors, but unfortunately, he found nothing.
This left Su Yu feeling both disappointed and a bit relieved.
He was disappointed that he hadn't been able to reunite with the two seniors, but relieved that the lack of information suggested they were still alive and hadn't fallen into the Skrull's hands.
By the fifth day of Su Yu's arrival on Skrull, it was morning. In a large conference room at the "Alien Capture Command Center," a highly important secret meeting was taking place.
Commander Hilton sat in the main seat, his expression serious as he gazed at the projection on the wall.
The high-ranking officials of the command center, seated beside Hilton, also had serious expressions.
Standing next to the projector were a male and a female agent, who were explaining the images displayed on the screen.
"First, we have traced the initial appearance of the alien 'Subject One.'" The male agent said.
"Subject One" was the name given to Su Yu by the command center, meaning "the first Blue Star human discovered on our soil."
The image on the projection showed Su Yu lying by the roadside, waving his arms to hail passing vehicles for help.
The male agent continued, "The location in the image is Red Forest Town in the Sun Empire. When 'Subject One' first appeared in our field of vision, he already had the ability to blend in with us."
"Understood," Hilton nodded, not questioning but waiting for the agents to continue.
"Subsequently, 'Subject One' used gold to lure two residents of the Sun Empire," the male agent said. (Omitted 300 words) "He then entered Red Maple Town." (Omitted 500 words) "Ultimately, he led the raid on the Red Forest Town Spirit Cultivation School."
The male agent's explanation was clear and detailed, recounting Su Yu's actions in Red Forest Town with numerous images to support his account.
It was evident that the command center's investigative capabilities were exceptional, allowing them to gather such detailed information on Su Yu's activities in such a short time.
