Chapter 362: Toywar (Viii)
Chapter 362: Toywar (Viii)
"Have you two decided yet?" Zoro's patience wore thin. "It's four on four—how complicated can it be? If Himura doesn't want to fight, I'll just take on two of you."
"Add my share to the mix", Zong Wu muttered listlessly. "Zoro-san, with your Three Blade Style, handling three should be no problem, right?"
"Don't drag me into your nonsense!" Zoro snapped. "Hey! What are you doing putting on your blindfold now? Even if you look down on them, don't just lie down and nap!"
"Ah... For some reason, your voice just grates on me..." Zong Wu actually curled up sideways, propped his head on one hand, and dozed off.
"Hmph... Two people who refuse to fight..." Feng Bu Jue muttered, though his eyes never left Gouri. "Unfortunately, one troublesome guy remains..."
"Who Are You Ignoring ME For?!" Zoro roared.
Feng Bu Jue completely disregarded Zoro, turning instead to Xiao Tan and the two Transformers. "Forget the moss-head. Once we deal with Gouri, we can duck into a few alleyways and lose him easily."
Jazz frowned. "So he's the 'Collectible Figure' who gets lost so badly he can't go solo on missions? Thought that was just an urban legend..."
Zoro's forehead pulsed with a visible vein. "You wanna bet if I can't Kill You?!"
Nightbeat chimed in, "We've got Gps systems—can't imagine getting lost like that..."
"Gps? What're you talking about?! You're just a Plastic Toy!" Zoro unsheathed his blades in a blur. "Dual Sword Style! Hawk Wave!"
His drawn swords moved faster than the eye could follow. As he spun mid-air, twin shockwaves of misty white energy erupted toward Classic's group.
Jazz stepped forward, shielding his allies. A single swing of his arm shattered the attack. "This kind of pushover force won't even tickle us Cybertronians."
"Gouri!" A voice rang out—
"Get Down!" Feng Bu Jue barked simultaneously.
Xiao Tan instantly dropped flat. Jazz and Nightbeat transformed and accelerated sideways in their vehicular forms, scattering just as Gouri's Light Sword belched a wide, blinding beam of radiant destruction. The blast rivaled any spiritual pressure flash, yet surpassed it in sheer power.
Thanks to Feng Bu Jue's warning, everyone narrowly avoided annihilation.
Even Himura, standing opposite Gouri, had to dart sideways to escape the blast. He exhaled sharply. "Whew... That was close..."
"You three handle Gouri. I'll take Zoro. We have numbers on our side—close-quarters favors us." Feng Bu Jue sprinted toward Zoro as he shouted.
"Since when did he become the commander?" Nightbeat grumbled, though he obeyed.
Jazz shrugged. "If his plan works, let's go with it." He charged alongside Xiao Tan and Nightbeat.
Zoro's opponent...
Though Feng Bu Jue declared, "Zoro's mine!" confidence evaporated the moment he faced the swordsman.
Zoro's oppressive aura alone could devour fields and shatter mountains. His third sword (Wado Ichimonji) remained sheathed, yet the dual blades in his hands (Sandai Kitetsu and Shusui) and his stance left Feng Bu Jue utterly helpless.
No matter how Feng Bu Jue calculated his Soul Intent attacks, every scenario ended with him dead.
"What's wrong?" Zoro smirked. "You ran over here just to freeze up?" His right hand twitched slightly. "Our boss said you're dangerous. Guess he miscalculated..."
Shing-shing!
Two golden playing cards sliced past Zoro's cheeks.
"You dodged that too..." Feng Bu Jue muttered, frustrated.
Far from frozen, Feng Bu Jue had secretly activated his Death Poker under his sleeve. The cards struck with no warning—aimed precisely at Zoro's neck—but he'd evaded them with a slight lean backward.
"A mere Collectible Figure still has Observation Haki? The ability to sense surrounding presences and even predict movements?" Feng Bu Jue scoffed.
Zoro grinned. "You sure know your stuff."
"And you sure can dodge!" Feng Bu Jue countered, launching a sideways kick.
A crescent slash swept toward Zoro's abdomen, fast and wide. With no reaction time, evasion seemed impossible.
"Boring!" Zoro crouched and slashed upward. His blade's energy collided with Feng Bu Jue's Storm Leg technique, obliterating both. "I've fought Six Styles users dozens of times. Your flimsy Storm Leg can't scratch me!"
"This is impossible..." Feng Bu Jue sweated. "How can martial arts alone counter him? His reflexes, strength, speed, stamina, combat experience, and instinct are all top-tier. We lack ranged shooters or heavy artillery... Maybe only mechanics, spirit arts, or summoning skills can work..."
His thoughts raced.
Zoro wasted no time. His dual blades demanded blood.
"Dual Sword Style! Demon Bear!"
A shadow flashed—a killing intent manifested. Zoro materialized before Feng Bu Jue, blades reversed in a double vertical slash.
But Feng Bu Jue had already launched skyward.
Zoro tracked him easily, tilting his head to spot Feng Bu Jue's crimson battle aura. He scoffed, "That speed boost move... Reminds me of someone's second gear."
Feng Bu Jue inverted mid-air, unleashing multiple Moon Steps downward like a diving hawk, charging his Southern Dipper Flying Dragon Fist.
"Looks like you've got something planned..." Zoro's expression hardened. "But I'm confident in my Armament Haki. It can harden my defense like invisible armor... Or amplify my attack power to rival Devil Fruit users, even letting me strike their physical forms!"
