He was satisfied with Obito's response, as this was the attitude the Uchiha clan should have—a relentless pursuit of strength and a desire to reach greater heights.
Obito's eyes lit up at the mention of more powerful jutsu. His drowsiness vanished, and even if he couldn't learn it immediately, he could always ask Mu Yue to teach him later.
"Don't take the clan meeting to heart too much. Those who opposed you were also acting in your best interests, even if their words were a bit harsh," Fujaku Uchiha said earnestly, wanting Obito to understand the difficulties faced by Uchiha ninjas.

He had high hopes for Itachi and wanted him to become the next Uchiha Kagami or even surpass him.
"I understand, Uncle Fugaku," Itachi replied calmly.
He had realized that only by possessing the strength to stand firm within the Uchiha clan could he propose reforms successfully.
