Chapter 345: Are You Really a Dragon Knight?
Chapter 345: Are You Really a Dragon Knight?
The next morning, Ivan yawned as he woke up from bed.
Pulling back the curtains and glancing at the clear sky outside, Ivan's tense mood finally relaxed.
"What should I do today?"
Suddenly having free time, Ivan felt a bit unaccustomed. He had been so busy for the past few months, but today, aside from needing to brew a dose of Veritaserum later, there didn't seem to be anything urgent to do.

The tightly closed door opened, and Ivan turned to see Hermione standing at the doorway, greeting him cheerfully.
"Ivan, come out and eat!"
"Sure, okay!" Ivan smiled and nodded, walking out with Hermione.
On the way, Ivan asked Hermione about the status of her Time Turner and instructed her to let him know when it started to heat up slightly.
The power of the Time Turner would fail and eject the user back to their original time point, but their location would remain the same, meaning they would return to Knockturn Alley three months later.
Ivan wasn't too concerned; he had the strength to protect himself. However, for Hermione, being alone in Knockturn Alley was still quite dangerous.
In the hall outside, Fleur, Walker, and others were sitting on chairs, eating breakfast. The several Werewolf Wizards were boasting about their exploits from the previous day at the magic shop, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Seeing Ivan approach, Walker waved in greeting, and Ivan nodded back, then looked around and noticed Dugdale was missing, which made him somewhat curious.
"Where's Dugdale?"
"He went to the Ministry of Magic early this morning to gather some information from a few friends", Aisha explained, placing a bowl of corn porridge and a plate of bacon and eggs on the table.
Ivan thought it made sense; with everything that happened last night, they needed to understand the situation to avoid any unexpected issues.
Thus, Ivan ate breakfast while chatting with Aisha, asking about what had happened in Knockturn Alley after he returned to school, and occasionally sharing some amusing stories from his time at Hogwarts.
Hermione would sometimes chime in with a comment or two.
As they talked, Ivan noticed that Hermione and Aisha were chatting happily, leaving him somewhat sidelined.
What frustrated Ivan the most was that they were mostly talking about him.
Aisha seemed to want to understand his life at Hogwarts from another perspective, so she frequently asked Hermione questions.
Hermione proudly recounted how Ivan, in his first year, had killed a troll that was about to attack her, and then ridden a dragon to repel Professor Quirrell, saving the gamekeeper Hagrid.
The Young Witch's cheeks were flushed, and she was lavish with her praise, mentioning that many professors considered Ivan to be the most outstanding student in history.
Ivan, listening on the side, felt a bit embarrassed. He then suddenly realized that Hermione had mentioned many things he had never told Aisha about, so he quickly cleared his throat to interrupt her.
"What's wrong, Ivan?" Hermione turned and asked, puzzled.
Ivan raised an eyebrow and gave Hermione a meaningful look, indicating that she should only mention the fun parts and avoid the more dangerous experiences.
Hermione blinked blankly, not understanding what Ivan was trying to convey. Just as Ivan was about to make his gesture more obvious, he was hit on the head with a spoon.
Rubbing his head, Ivan noticed Aisha glaring at him with a warning look. Ivan sighed and obediently continued eating his breakfast.
Hermione glanced at Ivan, a hint of unease in her eyes. As clever as she was, she had guessed something from Ivan and Aisha’s actions, realizing she might have said something she shouldn’t have.
Aisha shot Ivan a glare before her face broke into a smile again, turning to Hermione.
"Never mind him! Let’s continue our conversation. What happened next? How did you deal with that three-headed dog? Did you get the Philosopher's Stone?"
When Ivan had returned last time, he had told her that his life at Hogwarts was just about reading books, attending classes, and bickering with classmates—a very safe and leisurely life. He had never mentioned anything about trolls, dragons, or three-headed dogs!
As the young witch stammered in response to Aisha’s questioning, Ivan felt someone tugging at the edge of his Wizard robe. He looked over to see Walker.
"Hals, did you really ride a dragon? Was it really fierce, the kind that breathes fire? How did you tame it?" Walker asked, clearly excited.
Fren and others also looked at Ivan with curiosity, though not because of the dragon. It was Ivan’s legendary experiences at Hogwarts that intrigued them. It was hard to imagine a first-year Wizard going through so much.
However, they couldn’t really question him, as Ivan had done even more impressive things in the past few days. In comparison, taming a dragon and killing a troll seemed minor.
Ivan recalled the time he had trained Norbert to draw dragon blood, and he chuckled, shaking his head.
"Actually, dragons aren’t that special. Think of a big lizard with wings, just bigger. As for taming them, well, it’s not that hard. When they’re being disobedient, just give them a few beatings and some roasted fish, and you’re good to go."
Walker was a bit skeptical. He had heard that dragons were powerful and temperamental creatures, very difficult to tame.
But as he listened to Ivan recount the many amusing stories of raising Norbert at Hogwarts, Walker’s doubts faded, and he sighed.
"I wish I could have gone to Hogwarts too!"
Walker envied Ivan’s exciting school life and couldn’t help but feel a bit wistful. After a moment, he added with a self-deprecating laugh, "But I doubt they’d accept a Werewolves Wizard, right?"
"Who knows! From what I’ve heard, there was a Werewolves Wizard who graduated from Hogwarts, and he even made some good friends there", Ivan said with a smile.
This was one of the things Ivan admired about Dumbledore. The elderly Dumbledore truly did not discriminate against any student. Draco Malfoy was a perfect example from the original timeline.
Dumbledore had known that Draco and his parents were Death Eaters, and Lucius Malfoy had deliberately targeted him several times over the years. Despite this, Dumbledore still tried to save Draco’s soul in the end, believing that Draco was not inherently evil.
"Are you serious?" Walker asked, still not quite believing it. As far as he knew, no school would accept a Werewolves student. He had only managed to get into Durmstrang by hiding his identity, and was immediately expelled when it was discovered.
"Of course!" Ivan nodded and told Walker some of Remus Lupin’s stories.
As they were chatting, the front door of the manor suddenly opened, and Dugdale walked in.
