Xu Yan murmured the incantation to himself, deep in thought. A spark of inspiration seemed to flash in his mind, and he felt that he had somehow gained some insight.
But he couldn't quite grasp it yet.
"Follow me," Li Xuan said, walking towards the flat area where he had drawn the bagua.
"Yes, Master!" Xu Yan respectfully followed behind.
"Do you see this? This is the bagua!" Li Xuan pointed to the bagua diagram on the ground.
"Qian, Kun, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Li, Gen, Dui..." Li Xuan explained all that he could remember about the bagua to Xu Yan, including some of his own fabricated theories that sounded profound and powerful.
"The mysterious changes of the bagua are endless. How much you can comprehend depends entirely on you... You can gain insights into movement techniques, stepping techniques, and more from the bagua."
"Master can only guide you to the door, but it's up to you to cultivate. You must be able to grasp those fleeting moments of enlightenment. His mind was now filled with thoughts about the bagua, and the more he thought about it, the more profound it seemed. He felt that he could continue to gain insights endlessly.
"This is the ultimate martial arts path!" Xu Yan thought excitedly.
"You should allocate your cultivation time wisely. Cooking and feeding the chickens only need to be done once a day." Li Xuan thought for a moment and said.
He had to give his disciple more time to cultivate and not waste it on chores like feeding chickens, growing vegetables, and cooking.
