Chapter 34: Flawless Body, Millions of Jin!
When reaching the Perfection stage of the Circulation Realm, with 54 Major Meridians, one gains an additional 4,320 cycles of Power—equivalent to over 800,000 catties of immense strength!
However, the royal family possesses the Dong Huang Scripture, the First Meridian-Opening Art of Diyu, capable of unlocking 62 Major Meridians—adding eight extra meridians’ worth of Power. After conversion, this amounts to roughly an additional 600,000 catties.
But this was far from Li Hao’s limit.
The Taiyin Meridian—just one pulse—was worth ten ordinary meridians, equivalent to 2,480 rounds, or nearly half a million catties!
Moreover, Li Hao’s Meridian-Opening Technique was not limited to the Dragon River Divine Meridian alone. The Nine Turn Starlight Scripture was also a Meridian-Opening Art, and he had three mid-to-high grade techniques, plus several low-grade ones.
Yet the low-grade techniques only opened the easiest, most accessible major meridians—meridians already overlapped and rendered useless by the higher-tier methods.
But the combination of the Nine Turn Starlight Scripture and the three mid-to-high grade techniques allowed Li Hao to unlock major meridians entirely untouched by the Dragon River Divine Meridian.
Thus, his current total number of opened meridians stood at 69 types—surpassing even the royal family’s Dong Huang Scripture!
Still, Li Hao wasn’t satisfied.
Now, he aimed to push further—using pure physical sensation to unlock the Fourth Level of the Tai Chu Combat Scripture, shattering the Spiritual Abyss Body!
"The first level gathers the Yin-Yang power of heaven and earth; the second level draws from the stars of the cosmos; the third level taps into the subtle, nearly imperceptible Abyss Meridian. For the Fourth Level… I wish to open the Tai Yang Meridian—where Yin and Yang dual meridians merge!"
This wasn’t mere fantasy.
After years of cultivation in the Five-Stage Body Path, Li Hao had already become, in essence, a master in Body Cultivation.
What was a master? One who could create their own martial arts, establish a school of thought.
He didn’t know how the original Fourth Level of Tai Chu was cultivated—nor did he need to. The Li family had never managed to gather the complete text; it was likely long since destroyed, lost to history.
So why not write a new chapter for this supreme Body Cultivation Scripture?
Let the lost gem shine once more!
---
Days later.
By the Blackwater Demon Lake.
Li Hao sat outside the fishing platform, suddenly struck by enlightenment. His blood Qi surged violently, bones trembling faintly beneath his skin. Qi energy raced through all 69 major meridians, spiraling and churning, before finally surging upward to the crown of his head—threatening to burst his skull!
This was an extremely dangerous path.
But Li Hao’s control over his body was now flawless. He could fold his ears shut at will, and every bone in his body moved with the precision of fingers—each capable of independent, targeted effort.
Boom!
A deafening crack echoed within his skull. A searing, swelling pain flooded his mind.
Li Hao gritted his teeth, enduring the agony—until, suddenly, a surge of Qi burst forth, as if finding a crack in the barrier. It poured out… then, instantly, reversed course, returning into his body—forming a complete cycle!
Li Hao’s eyes sparkled with radiant light, filled with exhilaration.
It was done.
The Taiyin Meridian—known as a wandering meridian—appeared at random locations across the body, impossible to track. Hence its name: the Abyss Meridian, meaning "dark and untraceable."
But the Tai Yang Meridian was fixed—located within the skull.
Yet, paradoxically, it was far more dangerous than the Taiyin.
No one dared attempt its opening. Failure meant instant madness, permanent disability… or, in the worst case, explosive death.
Though one meridian equaled ten, few would risk such a fate for a tenfold increase in power.
Every attempt had failed.
Only the truly insane, or geniuses of unparalleled talent, would persist in such madness.
Now, with the Tai Yang Meridian opened, Li Hao felt an immediate shift: the previously chaotic Abyss Meridian suddenly found an anchor. It no longer drifted aimlessly—it began to draw near the Tai Yang Meridian, slowly intertwining with it.
"Yin-Yang convergence… I shall call this Fourth Level—Flawless Body!"
Li Hao opened his Character Panel. As he willed it, the Tai Chu Scripture on the panel advanced—flashing to the Fourth Level, titled: Flawless Body (Minor Completion).
He immediately activated the Yin-Yang Dual Meridians, circulating Qi energy back and forth—practicing again and again.
Soon, the intertwined energies formed a faint, unique vortex of power.
Through the Qi swirl, Li Hao glimpsed a flicker of golden light deep within his skull.
He tried to reach it with his Qi—but it felt impossibly distant, unreachable.
"Legend says the human body has 108 Major Meridians. If all were opened… perhaps then, I could touch that golden light."
A sudden surge of insight washed over him.
This was the Dao of the Body—deepened by years of cultivation, granting him an intuition beyond ordinary mortals.
Body Cultivation was not simple. It was not, as elders claimed, a dead end.
On the contrary, Li Hao believed the reason Body Cultivators were undervalued was because the Combat Scriptures available were too weak.
Even Thousand Dragon Sacred Body, a Scripture ranked among the top-tier on the Sixth Floor, could only advance to the Continuation of Soul Realm at its Fourth Level.
But others—those who trained in other Combat Scriptures—reached the absolute peak.
Why were Body Cultivators ignored?
Beyond the difficulty of cultivation, Li Hao now suspected the lack of powerful Combat Scriptures was a key reason.
The Li family’s own collection of Body Cultivation Combat Scriptures was pitifully small. How much worse must it be for others?
Li Hao glanced at his Character Panel.
The status of Flawless Body had just changed—from Minor Completion to Full Completion!
The convergence of the Yin-Yang dual meridians now linked all major meridians, instantly gathering and synchronizing every ounce of Qi within his body—like a Dragon Spine forming deep within.
He tested it.
With a sudden punch—whoosh!
The air roared like a tiger’s growl. The water in front of him, several zhang away, visibly sank inward. A ripple, seven or eight meters wide, erupted outward across the lake.
Had that punch struck solidly, it would have been like a cannonball plunging into water—triggering a massive explosion of spray.
Li Hao paused, stunned.
Through his body’s delicate perception, he understood the true magnitude of that punch.
By concentrating Qi from all 69 major meridians—now doubled by the Yin-Yang dual meridians—his power had doubled.
That meant: 89 major meridians in total.
Each meridian: 248 rounds.
Total power: 4.5 million catties.
Double that—nearly 9 million catties.
This was approaching the legendary ten million jin of divine strength.
Even a Circulation Realm True Dragon would struggle to match such force.
Even royal prodigies, wielding the finest circulating Qi and Meridian-Opening Techniques, could only reach 200,000 catties.
Unless they also unlocked two major meridians, they couldn’t instantly gather all Qi—let alone double their power.
"No wonder Ninth Uncle was so terrifying—two meridians merging, instantly doubling his strength. It’s terrifying."
Li Hao’s eyes gleamed with awe.
He couldn’t even imagine what would happen if all 108 meridians were opened.
After all, ordinary Circulation Realm cultivators barely reached 20,000 catties—barely above the lowest tier.
Even the vast majority of Ten-Heavy Heavenly Circuit Stage cultivators had at least 100,000 catties.
But compared to Li Hao? The gap was unfathomable.
"With my current strength, even Elite Zhou Tian Realm Ten-Stage Warriors from the Yuan Character Camp would be no match!"
The Yuan Character Camp’s elite warriors, at ten stages, barely reached 500,000 catties—children in his eyes.
Royal geniuses were four times stronger than those warriors.
And Li Hao was four times stronger than the royal geniuses.
He lowered his fist, taking a breath to recover.
The explosive use of double-power had drained him significantly—too much to sustain often.
But in a life-or-death clash? One strike would be enough.
Once his body relaxed, Li Hao turned toward the Spirit Lake.
But the Second Uncle was nowhere to be seen.
He’d gone searching for traces of the Ancient Dragon of the Demon Lake.
No sign.
The Spirit Lake stretched for thousands of li, its waters deep and dark. A Spirit Beast Dragon hidden within—how could one even detect it?
Then—faint movement.
Li Hao’s ears twitched.
He spun around—there, among the withered, yellow leaves, a white figure trembled, hiding.
In a flash, he landed before it.
A small, white fox—about the size of a newborn puppy.
He examined it closely. No Spirit Beast Qi. Just a common wild fox.
"Little one," he said softly, bending down, "what are you doing here? Where’s your parents?"
He gently lifted the fox from the leaves.
The little fox’s ears bore a faint orange-red hue—clearly a hybrid of white and red fox.
It immediately struggled, pushing with tiny paws.
Li Hao placed it on his palm, scanning the area.
No mother fox in sight.
Had it run away from its den?
He set it down again.
The tiny fox crawled slowly through the leaves—too small, too clumsy to move quickly.
Li Hao smiled.
He didn’t interfere. Returned to the lakeside to resume fishing.
Not long after, a figure landed beside him—Li Moxiu.
Li Hao saw his empty hands and sighed inwardly. Another failed search.
The old man had scoured the lake countless times over the past half-year. The dragon spirit was clearly cunning and ancient—how else could it have survived long enough to catch Li Moxiu’s attention? At least a few thousand years old.
"Hmph."
Seeing Li Hao’s cheerful expression, Li Moxiu sneered, flipping his sleeve.
"And you? Still fishing empty-handed?"
"Caught a small one. Strength Integration Realm," Li Hao grinned.
Li Moxiu rolled his eyes, even more irritated.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Li Moxiu finally managed to catch a single Strength Integration Realm Fish Spirit—just enough to avoid the embarrassment of fishing with empty hands—before leading Li Hao back to Qingzhou City.
Before leaving, Li Hao noticed the little fox had crawled farther, still unclaimed.
He asked Li Moxiu to help search.
After a thorough sweep, the old man found only a pool of blood stains and a few strands of white fox fur.
The scene suggested: the mother fox had been devoured by some Spirit Beast.
Such tragedies happened often in the wild.
Li Hao sighed.
He found the tiny fox, still blindly scrambling through the leaves, and gently picked it up.
From that day on, a splash of white appeared among the withered yellow leaves of the Mountain and River Courtyard.
