Chapter 337: The Disappearing Dementors and Death Eaters (First Update)
Chapter 337: The Disappearing Dementors and Death Eaters (First Update)
During this Christmas break, Jerry had three main tasks to accomplish.
The first was to publish his first magic book, which he had already completed, and the process went smoothly. The results should also be excellent.
The second was to seal the remaining Voldemort's Horcruxes, to help replenish the red stars he had used excessively from the Time-Turner, and to see if he could make it through his third year at school.
The third was to visit Azkaban and bind a few more Dementors. After half a year of meditation, his soul strength had increased, allowing him to bind more Fantastic Beasts.
Additionally, he needed to take all the Death Eaters imprisoned in Azkaban with him.
Once he returned to the Main World to attend university, he would focus on researching the biological experiments of Witch bloodlines. Without a few hundred years, he wouldn't be able to achieve a significant increase in magical power, even with the current "Eternal Life Technique."
Since he was diving into biological experiments, he needed subjects and samples; he couldn't just rely on imagination.
His Spacetime Box already contained various Fantastic Beast specimens, including the cursed creature Nagini, but it lacked a Witch from this world.
Randomly capturing innocent Witches for body experiments wasn't Jerry's style, so he thought of the loyal Death Eaters imprisoned in Azkaban for life.
Since they were going to be locked up anyway, he might as well keep them in his box space and put them to good use as experimental materials.
This way, he could prevent these capable Death Eaters from causing trouble once he took the Dementors away.
Besides, keeping them in the box space would also serve as food for the Dementors.
Once he was done using them, he could kill them all, potentially earning more red stars. It was a win-win situation.
After leaving the publisher, Jerry used Apparition to disappear from Diagon Alley, reappearing in the outskirts of London.
"Black Coal, let's go! Our destination is Azkaban Prison!"
Taking out the Thestral Black Coal from his box space, Jerry cast a Disillusionment Charm and mounted it, heading straight for the North Sea island where Azkaban was located.
Although his flying spell was almost as fast as the Thestral, he didn't know the exact location of Azkaban, so he relied on the Thestral's automatic navigation.
To keep Black Coal company in the box space, Jerry had secretly brought a few Thestrals of the same age from the Forbidden Forest before the break and placed them in the box space with it.
...
In the North Sea, far from the mainland, stood a large, rocky island protected by a powerful Muggle-Repelling Charm. On this island, a massive magic prison was built from large blocks of stone.
The prison's design was ancient and, from the outside, resembled a medieval castle.
This was Azkaban, the prison that struck fear into the hearts of witches and wizards in the British magical community!
"Two hours of flying, and finally, we're here!"
Jerry put away Black Coal and looked at the towering building surrounded by Dementors. He stretched out his hand and waved it forward.
As he waved, the Dementors that had been patrolling around Azkaban immediately seemed to receive a signal and flew toward him in unison.
Six of them showed no response and were forced to fly over by the other twenty or so Dementors.
"There are only three Aurors stationed here? That makes things easier!"
Jerry quickly bound the six Dementors that hadn't been bound yet. From the already bound Dementors, he learned that there were only three Aurors currently stationed at Azkaban.
This was actually quite normal. The primary task of guarding Azkaban was on the Dementors, while Witches maintained the basic order of the prison and used Magic to ensure the daily meals of the prisoners.
After all, even Aurors were reluctant to stay on a remote island with a group of Death Eaters and Dementors for long periods.
This was also why Sirius Black was able to easily escape Azkaban after transforming into a large black dog and avoiding the Dementors.
"Let's go in and take a look!"
Using a Disillusionment Charm to become invisible, Jerry led the thirty or so Dementors and flew straight into the prison.
In a spacious lounge on the second floor of the prison, a roaring fire made the room exceptionally warm, a stark contrast to the cold weather outside.
"Heated Butterbeer is really great. In three more days, we can change shifts and leave this hellhole. I hate Dementors, I hate the endless cold winds, and the waves that keep me awake at night!"
A plump Witch, with a slightly flushed face, refilled her and her two colleagues' mugs with warm Butterbeer while complaining.
However, when she looked up, she noticed that the two colleagues who had been sitting on the opposite sofa had somehow passed out.
"You two, when did your tolerance get so low? We've only had three drinks!"
The plump Witch's first thought was that her colleagues were simply drunk.
But soon, she realized something was wrong as her own consciousness began to blur, but it was clearly too late.
Once the plump Witch also passed out on the sofa, Jerry's figure slowly appeared from behind her.
"The Disillusionment Charm and Silencing Charm work really well together!"
He had used the Disillusionment Charm to become invisible and the Silencing Charm to mask the Magic fluctuations of the Stunning Spell, allowing him to silently incapacitate the three Aurors guarding Azkaban.
Without the Silencing Charm, even if he could be invisible, the Magic fluctuations from a single attack spell would immediately be detected by the other Witches.
After securing the final defenses of Azkaban, Jerry sent all the Death Eaters and Dementors into his box space. He then moved the prisoners who were only serving a few years, along with the three Aurors, to the island outside the prison.
Once everything was done, he summoned Ebony Throat from the box space.
"Can you lift this building off the ground with your abilities?"
"Master, I'll give it a try!"
Ebony Throat looked at the Azkaban prison and began to exert its mind control abilities to their fullest.
Moments later, under Ebony Throat's influence, the entire stone-built Azkaban began to shake.
"Boom!"
With a loud noise, Azkaban prison was lifted off the ground.
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
Seeing that Ebony Throat was struggling, Jerry immediately used the powerful levitation charm he had improved by combining it with the "Float" card.
Under the effect of the powerful levitation charm, the weight of the entire Azkaban prison was reduced to less than one percent of its original weight, making it easy for Ebony Throat to control.
Jerry opened the box, and Ebony Throat controlled Azkaban as it flew inside.
Indeed, Jerry had decided on the spur of the moment to move Azkaban into his box space after seeing how well it was built.
