Chapter 334: I Really Have No Idea How You Mastered So Many Advanced Spells
After Ivan agreed, Dugdale had no more concerns. With the help of those Werewolf wizards, there were indeed enough people!
"Let's not waste time. We'll Apparate to the eastern Rubble now. The Werewolves should be there right now", Dugdale suggested, then turned to Hermione and spoke again.
"Aisha, you take this young girl. I'll take little Ivan!"
Aisha nodded, took Hermione's hand, and the Young Witch seemed a bit uncomfortable but still obediently let Aisha lead her.
Just as Dugdale was about to step forward, Ivan shook his head.
"No need, I can Apparate myself!"
Dugdale and Aisha's faces showed surprise. If they weren't mistaken, Hogwarts only taught Apparition in the sixth year, and Ivan didn't know this spell during the previous summer.
"Are you sure? Apparition can be very dangerous if you fail. Don't just try it because you read about it in a book", Dugdale warned.
Apparition was different from other spells, highly dangerous, and required both magical power and mental fortitude. It was usually only taught to students 17 years and older, and practice sessions typically required supervision to prevent irreversible consequences.
"Apparition!" Ivan didn't explain further, casually waved his Wand, and his body was enveloped in a vortex of time and space.
The next moment, Ivan appeared on a nearby clearing, the entire process smooth and incredibly quick.
"I really have no idea how you mastered so many advanced spells", Dugdale stood there in a daze, then shook his head with a bitter smile, muttering to himself.
He remembered that when he was in his second or third year, he only knew some basic spells like the Levitation Charm, Transfiguration, and Unlocking Charm. Nothing like Ivan, who could easily use advanced spells like Thunderclap Explosion, Expecto Patronum, and Apparition.
Aisha was equally surprised, but after all the shocks Ivan had given her since his return, one more Apparition wasn't too much of a surprise.
Dugdale gave up on his initial thoughts and let Aisha lead Hermione. The three of them simultaneously cast their spells and disappeared from the dilapidated house.
Another familiar spatial shift, and when Ivan regained his senses, he was already in the Rubble outside the Werewolf camp.
Before Ivan could act, he saw Fren, Walker, and others urgently coming out of the camp, each holding their Wands tightly.
"Fren! Where are you all going?" Ivan quickly walked up and asked.
At this moment, Fren and the others also noticed Ivan's arrival. Before he could speak, Walker ran over, patted Ivan on the shoulder, and said happily,
"Hales, that's great to see you! You're all safe!"
"I heard an explosion while I was out. I went to check it out and found that your magic shop had been attacked. There was blood and bodies everywhere. I didn't find you inside, so I came back to tell Fren and the others. We were just about to go look for you!" Walker spoke in a rush.
Once Walker finished, Fren also asked,
"Yes, Hales, what exactly happened? When Walker mentioned it, we thought you might have encountered some misfortune."
Ivan finally understood why they all had the appearance of being ready for a fight. They had received news of an attack on a magic shop.
However, what puzzled Ivan was why Walker, who had gone to investigate the magic shop, hadn't run into him.
Was it just a coincidence that they had missed each other?
While pondering this, Ivan didn't stop speaking and gave a brief account of what had happened.
"About half an hour ago, our place was attacked by ten wizards dressed in black robes. But those attackers have all been eliminated by me. I have reliable information that the owner of Borgin and Burkes was behind this."
At this point, Ivan paused, then continued with a murderous intent. "So I plan to take the fight to Borgin before he gets the news, but I still lack some manpower. I'm asking for your help."
Ivan had expected these werewolf wizards to at least think about such a dangerous mission, but to his surprise, they all agreed without hesitation, seething with anger after hearing his words.
"Haha~ I've been idle for months. This will be a good chance to stretch my muscles", Walker said, rubbing his hands together excitedly.
"Shouldn't you consider it more carefully? This mission is extremely dangerous. We'll be fighting the shop owner inside a Dark Magic Shop, and we might have to deal with other troublesome Dark Wizards", Ivan said, somewhat moved.
Although Ivan needed their help, he wouldn't hide the dangers from them, knowing that some might die.
"Don't worry, we've thought it through and are well aware of the risks", Fren smiled.
Ivan's willingness to develop a werewolf poison and sell it at a low price had deeply touched Fren and the others. They had never seen a wizard who cared about the despised Werewolves.
So when Ivan encountered trouble, they naturally wouldn't stand by and watch. Besides, while the battle was dangerous, it wasn't a guaranteed death, and they had confidence in their own abilities.
"Actually, I've broken my promise to you. I agreed to keep an eye on Knockturn Alley, but this happened!" Fren said, feeling quite ashamed.
They had noticed that many unfamiliar faces had appeared in Knockturn Alley over the past few months, and Fren had mentioned this to Aisha.
They had assumed that the Dark Wizards who had infiltrated were just a disorganized group with no significant threat, but they hadn't expected them to be united.
Ivan wouldn't blame Fren for this. Gathering information was just a favor Fren was doing for him. These werewolf wizards had their own livelihoods to attend to, and it was normal that they couldn't cover everything.
But since Fren had said this much, Ivan didn't refuse their offer of help. He turned to Dugdale and said,
"Dean Dugdale, is there a safer temporary lodging in Knockturn Alley?"
Ivan remembered that his past self would soon come to find Fren and the others, so he couldn't stay here for long. It would be best to find a safer place to discuss their upcoming raid.
