Chapter 331: Prophecy
Chapter 331: Prophecy
Kyle was delighted to receive full marks in his exam without even taking it, as he had already read the book 'Advanced Potion Making' three times and transcribed his notes into a new book. So, returning it to Professor Snape was of no concern.
...
On the third day of the examination week, only two subjects remained.
Early in the morning, Kyle made his way to the top of the North Tower for his Divination exam.
There was a trick to Divination; even if one hadn't read a single book or understood anything, as long as the result satisfied Professor Trelawney, a high score could still be achieved.
Kyle leaned over and stared at the crystal ball.
"What do you see..." Professor Trelawney asked, her face stern, clearly displeased that Kyle hadn't attended class all semester.
Perhaps giving him a low score would make him understand the importance of Divination... Professor Trelawney thought to herself.
"Hmm..." Kyle pressed his nose against the crystal ball, "I see a figure..."
"What does it look like?" Professor Trelawney asked softly, "Think about it..."
"He's tall, and he has a beard..."
"It's Professor Dumbledore!" Kyle said with certainty.
"The Headmaster!" Professor Trelawney murmured, surprised.
"Yes, it's Professor Dumbledore," Kyle whispered, "He looks very downcast, hunched over, walking down a street... There are houses on both sides, but no one opens the door for him, and everyone drives him away."
"Are you sure, dear?" Professor Trelawney eagerly scribbled on parchment, "Did you really see Headmaster Dumbledore?"
"I'm sure, Professor."
Kyle affirmed, "He looks like an unwelcome venomous spider."
"Well, dear, that's enough... Incredible... You have a talent for being a Seer."
Professor Trelawney said delightedly, "But Divination is a profound subject, and talent alone is not enough. Remember to attend class in the future."
Kyle smiled and nodded, standing up to leave, but suddenly heard a loud, grating voice from behind him.
"Tonight..."
Kyle turned around and saw Professor Trelawney sitting upright in her armchair, her eyes unfocused, her mouth agape.
Her eyeballs were rolling, and her whole body was twitching unconsciously. The crystal ball on the table glowed slightly, reflecting her image.
At that moment, Professor Trelawney spoke again, still in that grating voice.
"The Dark Lord lies alone, his deepest secret exposed.
Tonight, the Dark Lord begins his journey, but he will rise again... With his... most powerful... weapon..."
Professor Trelawney's head drooped to her chest, making a rumbling sound, and then, suddenly, her head lifted again.
"Sorry, dear child." She said hazily, "The weather is too hot, you know, I took a nap..."
"Yes, Professor, you're tired." Kyle said with a smile.
He glanced at the crystal ball on the table, "Professor, I suddenly realized what you said earlier was right. To practice Divination regularly, can I buy this crystal ball... or borrow it for a holiday?"
Professor Trelawney was a bit confused but still nodded, "If it's borrowed... of course, but remember to return it. Crystal balls are expensive."
"No problem, Professor." Kyle picked up the crystal ball from the table, "I'll bring it back next semester, guaranteed to be as good as new."
As Kyle walked down the stairs, he was still looking at the crystal ball in his hand...
Professor Trelawney had just made a genuine prophecy, and the crystal ball had recorded everything accurately.
But what did it mean?
The greatest secret of Voldemort must be the Soul Containers, right? The destruction of the diary marked the beginning of his downfall, which is easy to understand.
But what is that most powerful weapon… Kyle considered many possibilities.
But after five minutes, he put the crystal orb away.
Prophecies are fine to listen to, but one must never delve too deeply into them. Voldemort’s firm belief in that prophecy led him to his current state… a cautionary tale indeed.
In the afternoon, Kyle completed his last History of Magic exam on the third floor.
People in the castle chatted and laughed as they made their way to the venue, eager to enjoy the long-awaited freedom.
Kyle also planned to visit Hagrid, but he had barely taken a few steps when someone called out to him.
“Kyle… do you have some time?”
It was Lo Hart, standing at the door of his office.
“Is there something you need, Professor?” Kyle asked.
“Nothing much, just a few things I’m interested in.” Lo Hart opened the door to his office. “Come in, don’t worry, it won’t take too much of your time.”
“Alright.” Kyle nodded in agreement.
The walls of the office were lined with countless frames, all containing self-portraits of Lo Hart, some even bearing his signature.
There were also a large stack of photos on the desk.

“Sit down.” He pointed to a soft, large chair. “Would you like something to drink, tea, whisky… I think it’s fine to have a bit of whisky occasionally, at least here, no one else will know.”
“No need, Professor, I can manage myself.” Kyle tapped the desk three times and clearly called out, “Lemonade.”
This was a method he had learned from Professor Dumbledore, tapping the desk three times could communicate with the kitchen.
Soon, a large glass of lemonade appeared in front of Kyle.
“Oh!” Lo Hart looked somewhat surprised.
“Amazing.” He said, “I dare say, no young wizard at your age is more outstanding than you.”
“It’s just a small trick to get food from the kitchen.” Kyle said, “I’m sure you know it too, Professor.”
“Of course, I knew about it when I first arrived.” Lo Hart revealed his shining teeth, “Though,Although though,Although,Even’tAlthough say, a bit,“Although,“swe1 better but,“Although doesn’t provide too a bit of a but least,“Although to’t,1,10,00%00,0000,00g00I knew it when I first arrived.” Lo Hart showed his shining teeth. “Although the whisky provided by the school is a bit ordinary, it’s nice to change the taste occasionally.”
Kyle nodded, not bothering to tell Lo that the kitchen would not provide any alcoholic beverages.
“Professor, why did you ask me to come here?”
“Almost forgot the main reason.” Lo Hart sat across from Kyle, his interest piqued. “I’m very interested in what you experienced in that Chamber of Secrets, and I want to write it in my new book.”
“Could you tell me in detail, including how you discovered the Chamber… how you met the Four Founders…”
Lo Hart said excitedly, “Characters from a thousand years ago reappearing at Hogwarts, my goodness, I have a feeling that this will be my best work, and our names will spread throughout the magical world…”
“Will I be in that book too?” Kyle asked, surprised.
“Of course, you are the most important part of it.” Lo Hart said softly.
“But, I already told everything in the Headmaster’s Office.” Kyle frowned. “ “You were there too.”
“I need the details, these are all essential experiences.”
Lo Hart said patiently, “I’ll ask the questions, you just need to answer.
First, what did you think when you discovered the Chamber.”
“Incredible, I felt quite shocked…” Kyle thought for a moment, then said.
“And what was your first reaction when you saw the Basilisk?”
“Incredible, I felt quite shocked…”
“And when you saw the Four Founders?”
“Incred….”
“Change it!”
“Alright, I was surprised.”
