Eighth Floor, Headmaster's Office, Hogwarts Castle.
"Mr. Carmen, could you explain what exactly happened here?"
Dumbledore looked at Jerry, his face a mix of kindness, curiosity, contemplation, and a hint of something deeper.
To Jerry, Dumbledore's expression was just complex.
The four Heads of Houses—Snape, Mcgonagall, Flitwick, and Sprout—all wore curious expressions as well.
Jerry smiled slightly, maintaining the characteristic elegance of a Slytherin, and began to recount the events he had prepared to describe.
"It all started when I returned from Hogsmeade Village to the castle. As I was walking to the Great Hall, a sudden inspiration struck me about the air magic theory I've been researching. I rushed back to my dormitory to record my new ideas.
When I came to my senses, I realized the Halloween feast had already begun, so I hurried to the Great Hall. That's when I encountered the large black dog that was actually Sirius Black."
"How did you know that black dog was Sirius Black?"
Professor Flitwick asked, surprised. Only seven witches and wizards were legally registered as Animagi, and Sirius Black was not one of them.
Jerry paused for a moment, then looked at Professor Mcgonagall with a respectful gaze before continuing.
"I owe this to Professor Mcgonagall. In class, she taught us about Animagi transformations, and I found it very interesting. I spent some time researching it in depth.
When I saw the black dog in the Great Hall, I noticed its eyes, movements, and demeanor were very human-like. Since no student in our house keeps a dog, and considering the recent incidents involving Sirius Black, I had a hunch.
I tried the Reversal Charm on the black dog, and to my surprise, it transformed back into Sirius Black!"
"Yes, I remember Mr. Carmen asking me specific questions about Animagus transformations after class. I even recommended a few books to him. I didn't expect him to learn the Reversal Charm so quickly."
Professor Mcgonagall nodded in satisfaction, clearly impressed by Jerry's dedication and ability.
"Very well, intelligent, brave, and studious, and you managed to subdue Sirius Black on your own. You are a true Slytherin. One hundred points to Slytherin!"
Snape managed a rare smile and awarded Jerry a high score without hesitation.
The other Heads of Houses did not object, as they too felt Jerry's performance today deserved the extra points for Slytherin.
"Mr. Carmen, your performance today was exceptional. May I ask, when we saw you sprout wings and fly, was it due to any special bloodline?"
Dumbledore affirmed Snape's decision and then turned to Jerry again. The four Heads of Houses leaned in, eager to hear the answer.
Jerry scratched his head, feigning modesty.
"That wasn't due to any bloodline; it was magic. As I mentioned, I've been researching air magic recently. This includes the Levitation Charm, Hover Charm, Broomstick Flight Spell, the Advanced Magic Flight Technique that Professor Snape taught me, and other air-related spells I found in the library."
I always find air Magic to be quite fascinating. There may be even more potential and applications for it.
During the summer, I went to Greece and, inspired by some ideas, combined my previous knowledge of air Magic to develop a new flying spell.
This new Magic involves using air Magic in conjunction with Transfigured Wings for flight. Not only is it faster, but it is also more stable.
Additionally, I have created several new offensive and defensive spells related to air Magic..."
He chattered on for a while, then pulled out a thick diary from his book bag and placed it on Dumbledore's desk, continuing:
"Here is my record of my research on air Magic and the new flying spell. I plan to write a book about it, titled 'The Theory of Air Magic and Flying Spells'!"
Listening to Jerry's detailed and professional answers, Dumbledore and the four Heads of House were all stunned.
They had initially assumed that Jerry's wings were related to his bloodline. It's not uncommon for Witches to have Fantastic Beast bloodlines, such as those of Trolls, Giants, Veelas, and Werewolves.

Dumbledore picked up Jerry's notebook and quickly flipped through it. Soon, he verified that Jerry's claims were not exaggerations but facts.
The innovative Magic theories in the notebook were ones that even Dumbledore, the most learned and wise Witch of the century, had never seen. He also recognized many familiar Magic concepts in the theories about the new flying spell.
Perhaps this third-year student before him could truly become a Witch who would usher in a new era, much like Dumbledore, Grindelwald, and Voldemort.
"Mr. Carmen, you are truly an extraordinary genius!"
Hearing Dumbledore's words after closing Jerry's notebook, the Heads of House began to comment on Jerry's performance in class, praising his insightful questions and contributions.
Snape spoke the most.
Besides class, he often gave Jerry extra tutoring, so he was well aware of Jerry's usual performance.
After their discussion, they realized that Jerry's current achievements, upon closer reflection, were not entirely surprising.
His talent and exceptional nature had been evident in the small details of his daily life.
"Crack!"
At that moment, a flame rose from the fireplace in the Headmaster's Office, and a short, stocky old man in a dark green coat and a fine-striped robe stepped out.
He was followed by a middle-aged Witch with golden hair and a refined makeup, and a tall Witch holding a camera.
"Oh, Headmaster Dumbledore, thank you so much for helping to capture Sirius Black. I've been at my wits' end over him for the past few weeks!"
