Girls in dazzling dance skirts moved gracefully to the deep and melodious music that filled the air, along with the subtle fragrance of alcohol and tobacco.
As they made their way through the hall, they drew attention. Some of the scantily-clad women gave them a second glance and immediately tried to flirtatiously bump into them. Surprised, Ten Generations quickly dodged and hurried to catch up with You Xuan.
You Xuan smiled, "You haven't been to a place like this before?"
"I'm not old enough to drink yet," Ten Generations mumbled.
He also didn't understand the people dancing and drinking here, as he couldn't quite grasp the appeal of such places.
It was probably because he didn't see anyone playing cards. What's the point of a place without card games?
"The dueling doesn't happen here. It's in the arena downstairs," You Xuan explained with a smile.
"Oh!" Ten Generations' eyes lit up. "Then let's go take a look."

"By the way, what are we doing here? Isn't this Doma's base?" He looked around and saw only drinkers and scantily-clad women, which didn't match his expectations.
"No. But according to the intelligence from the Kaiba Corporation, this club also has hidden dark duels, and they have an alliance with the locals from the new Doma." You Xuan explained, "We might be able to find more clues through this channel."
"I see."
As they spoke, the two had already reached the back of the club. A man with a sharp suit and a scar on his face appeared, glanced at their uniforms, and nodded, "The Demon King is already waiting for you."

To be honest, when You Xuan first heard this code name, he felt a bit awkward, as if it referred to a demon who had cultivated to the point of refinement and occupied a mountain as its king.

The man called the Demon King straightened up and seemed to be appraising the two of them under the dim light.
Then, a smirk appeared on his face. "Hmph, not bad at all. Those guys didn't lie to me this time. You do look quite good."
His gaze shifted to Ten Generations, and he also gave a nod of approval.
"This one's not bad either, although he looks a bit simple."
Ten Generations helped the young man, who was barely conscious, to his feet and then stood up to question the Demon King. "What did you do to him?"
"Do you want to know?" The Demon King stuck out his tongue and licked his lips, his face full of anticipation.
"Then let me give you a first-hand experience as well. Don't worry, it'll be a pleasurable experience."
Ten Generations was bewildered.
"A pleasurable experience... Do you want to duel?"
"Uh..."
The Demon King was taken aback for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"Hahaha, it's even more exciting than a duel!
"However, you seem to have some skills. Otherwise, the new Doma's bunch of scrubs wouldn't have sought my help."

As he spoke, his massive body shook with laughter, adding a touch of sleaziness to his demeanor.
"Very well. In that case, I demand equal terms for my cooperation." You Xuan stated.
"Hahaha, if you win, I will naturally submit to your wishes as well. I will unconditionally obey any condition you set. But only if you can beat the cards in my hand."
"Agreed." You Xuan also unfolded his Duel Disk.

He picked out two cards and sent them sequentially to the graveyard.
"Then I Normal Summon 'Ox-Head!'

"Ox-Head, huh?" You Xuan murmured.
He was, of course, familiar with this card as it was one of their research results. However, the opponent was undoubtedly using the original Ox-Head from the anime world, a monster of the "Beast-Warrior" type.
The Undead version of Ox-Head was currently You Xuan's lab's unique development, and no one else in this world possessed it.
"The effect of Ox-Head allows me to send one Beast-Warrior-Type monster from my deck to the graveyard once per turn!"
The Demon King searched his deck for a card, briefly displayed it, and then swiftly sent it to the graveyard.

"The Nine-Tailed Fox, huh?" You Xuan wondered if this fox possessed the power of the Tailed Beast.
Of course, he knew that this fox also appeared in the anime, where it was used by Mitsuzawa in the original manga as one of the original manga's Beast-Warrior-Type deck aces.
The reason the man before him was known as the Demon King was partly because he used the same Beast-Warrior-Type deck as Mitsuzawa in the manga.
Most of the Beast-Warrior-Type deck from the original manga had been made into real cards, and their effects were largely faithful to the original work. However, the race of all the monsters, as well as effects related to their race, had been changed from Beast-Warrior-Type to Undead-Type.
"I set one card in the backrow, and that's the end of my turn."
The Demon King concluded his actions and resumed his cheerful inspection of You Xuan.
"Alright, now it's your turn. Let's see what you've got."
