Chapter 326: You Will Witness a Slaughter! The Ground Covered in Blood Like Hell!
"Ivan, he, he seems to still be alive", Hermione stammered.
Ivan turned his head in confusion, following Hermione's gaze to the Death Eater on the ground. He then remembered that he had petrified an enemy with his snake eyes earlier.
However, this guy's luck was apparently quite good. He hadn't been crushed by falling rocks while unconscious, nor had he died from the aftereffects of the magic. He had managed to survive somehow.
"Give him this Potion, quickly!" After a moment's thought, Ivan, holding Aisha with one hand, took a vial of the Potion to reverse petrification from his robes and handed it to Hermione.
Hermione was puzzled but obediently followed his instructions. She noticed that after the Death Eater drank the Potion, the petrified state began to gradually fade.
Before Hermione could understand why Ivan had done this, she was pulled out of the Dark Magic Shop.
As she was about to leave, Hermione turned back to look at the hellish scene inside the shop. For some reason, she suddenly thought of Sybill Trelawney's prophecy.
A slaughter! Blood like hell!
Or perhaps, you will witness (create) a slaughter! The ground covered in blood like hell!
Hermione had a moment of clarity, completing the prophecy in her mind. She remembered that she had personally handed the teacup used for the prophecy to Ivan, who then had Professor Trelawney interpret it. Perhaps this prophecy was not just about her alone.
These thoughts flashed through Hermione's mind, but the Young Witch quickly returned to reality. She looked at Ivan, who was dragging her along in a hurry, and asked, "Where are we going now?"
"To a place, to find a damned scumbag!" Ivan said through gritted teeth, thinking of the man who had refused him entry before.
He had never imagined that Dugard would be a Death Eater!
And he might be involved in this attack.
Thinking of this, Ivan's anger flared. This time, he wouldn't let Dugard escape again.
Shortly after the two left, the petrified Death Eater inside the Dark Magic Shop began to move. His pale face gradually turned rosy.
As he regained consciousness, the Death Eater clutched his head, his body still stiff. He struggled to get up, picked up his Wand, and looked around at the hellish scene.
Where am I? What happened here?
The Death Eater almost didn't recognize the Dark Magic Shop he had been searching earlier.
At that moment, the sound of hurried footsteps came from behind. The newly awakened Death Eater, still a bit dazed, turned around and saw a pair of orange-yellow vertical pupils.
Those eyes again!
The moment their gazes met, the Death Eater felt his soul drift away, all his thoughts and ideas vanishing. But this time, he finally saw clearly who the owner of those eyes was.
But how could it be?
It's just a kid.
Meanwhile, Ivan and Hermione ran all the way to Dugard's mansion.
"Stay here!" Ivan handed Aisha to Hermione to take care of and put on his Invisibility Cloak. He pointed his Wand at the front door.
"Alohomora!" Ivan whispered. With a soft click, the locked door opened.
Ivan pushed the door open gently and slipped inside carefully.
Although he remembered that Dugard should not be a match for him, Dugard's behavior that day had been quite strange. Ivan wasn't sure how much this cunning man had hidden from him.
After so much effort in disguise, perhaps the identity of a Death Eater was just one of many.
The hall was in a state of disarray, no different from the last time he was here. After taking a few steps, Ivan finally saw the figure of Dougter.
However, what he saw was different from what he had imagined. Dougter was slumped in a large chair, snoring loudly in a drunken stupor. His face was stained with alcohol, and he was still wearing that peculiar robe with one sleeve longer than the other. One foot was propped up on the table in a rather undignified manner, and the floor around him was cluttered with numerous empty bottles.
It looked like he was drunk.
Ivan stared at Dougter in a daze, his expression shifting. This was the Death Eater he had been wary of for so long, the one who had been deeply hiding his true intentions for over a decade?
Ivan couldn't believe it as he rushed to Dougter's side, grabbing the sleeve of his left hand and pulling it up. There, etched on his skin, was a pale black skull with a serpent slithering out of its mouth, forming a figure-eight loop around his wrist.
"Death Eater Mark!" Ivan muttered to himself, confirming what he had seen that day!
Looking at the unconscious and drunk Dougter, Ivan's expression was uncertain. He could send him to hell with a single spell right now!
But if Dougter was this drunk, how could he possibly have a conversation with his past self later?
"Ivan!" Hermione hurriedly supported Aisha as they entered, then quickly closed the door behind them.
"What's going on?" Ivan frowned, remembering that he had asked Hermione to wait outside.
"I saw you coming this way, and you should be almost at the door now! We need to use the Invisibility Cloak and find a place to hide!" Hermione said anxiously to Ivan.
Ivan nodded but suddenly thought of something and spoke up.
"No, we can't hide!"
"Why?" Hermione asked, puzzled. They just needed to put on the Invisibility Cloak and find an inconspicuous corner to stay in, right?
"Because I'm going to blow this place up!" Ivan said, a bit exasperated.
Why would you blow this place up? Hermione looked at Ivan with a strange expression but quickly realized he was talking about his past self.
Ivan vaguely remembered that three months ago, he had come here to ask Dougter to find a way to save the "Aisha" who had died, but the bastard had mocked him. In the end, he lost control and destroyed the entire house.
However, the situation was clearly different now. Dougter, the bastard, was drunk and unconscious.
Could the past have already been changed? Could he have entered a parallel timeline?
Then, when the Time Turner's lingering time was up, which timeline would he return to?
Ivan was at a loss. The sound of hurried footsteps came from outside the door. In his panic, he suddenly remembered something and felt in his robe pocket.
"Wait, I think I still have a bottle of Polyjuice Potion!"
The potion he had given to the Death Eater woman was the one his future self had asked Hermione to pass on to him, while the one he had made himself had never been used and was still with him.
But Ivan hesitated. After so much time had passed, and given his emotional state back then, he couldn't possibly remember every word Dougter had said to him, let alone every specific word.
