Chapter 322: Time to Cook!
Chapter 322: Time to Cook!
The lead middle-aged wizard nodded, which seemed to confirm that Aisha was indeed still in this Magic Shop.
With that thought, he turned to Ralph and said, "You take them upstairs. Be careful and don't split up too much, especially don't touch anything here!"
"Don't worry, we know. She won't get away", Ralph grinned, then called out to the three Death Eaters to join him in searching the upper floor.
The lead middle-aged wizard watched as Ralph went upstairs, then directed the remaining Death Eaters to search the ground floor in pairs, looking for any Secret Passages or Basements.
Although it wasn't wise to engage the shop owner in a Magic Shop, they had enough people and were all strong.
According to the information, Aisha was also accompanied by a child under thirteen with some Potion-making talent.
This was why they chose to act today. With such a burden, this time it should be a sure thing.
Ivan, hidden under his Invisibility Cloak, listened quietly from a corner on the ground floor, a smile playing on his lips. It was good that they decided to split up.
If they insisted on staying together, Ivan would have had a hard time finding a way to deal with them.
On the second floor of the Magic Shop, Ralph and his companions searched the living room thoroughly but found nothing.
Perhaps feeling that the search was too slow, Ralph waved his hand, instructing two of the Death Eaters to search the other rooms, while he and another Death Eater went to the kitchen and storage room.
They could alert each other if anything happened and quickly come to each other's aid.
Ralph cautiously entered the kitchen, looking around. The space was large, with many prepared ingredients piled up on one side.
Knives, spoons, and other kitchen utensils were neatly arranged, appearing quite normal.
However, with Ralph's keen eye, he could see that these utensils were all enchanted, genuine magical items.
"Armor of Iron!"
Before entering, Ralph cast an Ironclad Spell on himself, worried that it might be a Trap. For example, if he entered, the utensils might fly up and cut him to pieces.
Fortunately, nothing of the sort happened. The utensils remained in place, and Ralph breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed they were just ordinary Magical Kitchen Utensils, common in many wizarding households.
Ralph then began to search the kitchen.
The space was large, but apart from a few large cabinets that might hide someone, there was nothing worth investigating.
Ralph turned to call his companion to leave, only to find him staring blankly at one of the cabinets.
"Lawrence, did you find anything?" Ralph raised an eyebrow and asked.
There was no response. Ralph sensed something was wrong and took a few steps closer. He saw that the cabinet held a Crystal Skull covered in cracks, with an eerie Purple Flame burning in its hollow eye sockets.
Ralph was momentarily entranced, almost feeling as if the Crystal Skull had come to life, with pink flesh oozing out of the cracks, twisting and writhing in a grotesque manner.
However, Ralph quickly snapped out of the illusion and returned to his senses.
However, Laurinthe, who was standing nearby, seemed to be bewitched, slowly extending her hand to grab the skull.
"No! Don't touch that thing!" Ralph waved his Wand, and a beam of black magic struck the crystal skull, causing it to shatter.
Unfortunately, it was too late. Laurinthe's fingers had already touched the crystal skull, and purple flames shot out from the eye sockets, crawling up her arm like a parasitic fire, engulfing her entire limb.
"Aaaaah!"
A shrill scream echoed through the Dark Magic Shop. Laurinthe rolled on the ground in agony, trying to extinguish the flames, and her Wand fell to the floor.
Ralph cursed her incompetence in his mind but immediately drew his Wand to help extinguish the strange purple flames.
At that moment, a white shadow suddenly burst through the thick wall, darting towards him like a bolt of lightning.
Ralph could hear a hissing sound in his ears. He turned to see the white shadow enlarging before his eyes.
Alarms rang in Ralph's mind, and he tried to dodge.
But the white shadow was too fast. In an instant, it was right in front of him. The giant beast with a horn on its forehead lifted its hooves and stomped down!
Ralph barely avoided the critical areas, and the shield created by the Ironclad Charm in front of him shattered with a loud bang.
The hooves of the Unicorn's shadow struck Ralph's chest, and he felt as if he had been hit by a charging bull, crashing straight into the wall behind him.
Even with the protection of the Ironclad Charm, Ralph suffered significant injuries. He struggled to his feet, coughing up a large mouthful of blood.
What confused Ralph was that the white shadow that had attacked him had vanished without a trace.
"What happened?" The two Death Eaters on the second floor had heard Laurinthe's screams and rushed over to find the situation even worse than they had imagined.
"Help me, quick, help me!" Laurinthe screamed frantically.
"This is a trap, get out now!" Ralph quickly reacted, roaring.
The two Death Eaters had already stepped inside. Hearing Ralph's voice, their faces changed, and they tried to flee.
It was too late, however. The white Unicorn's shadow blocked the door, its azure eyes fixed on the few people in front of it.
As the two Death Eaters entered the kitchen, the magical cookware hanging on the wall began to move on its own. Knives, spoons, forks, and pots slowly floated in the air, making clinking sounds.
It was time to cook!
"Fiery Flames!"
"Reducio!"
The two Death Eaters frantically cast spells at the Unicorn's shadow.
Various spell beams passed through the ethereal body of the Unicorn, creating trails of white mist, as if the creature was not solid.
They were familiar with the Patronus Charm, knowing it couldn't directly harm a wizard. However, the wound on Ralph's chest reminded them that this Patronus was not as simple as they thought.
As they hesitated, the Unicorn's shadow let out a sharp neigh and charged through the white mist, with the floating magical cookware following closely behind.
Soon, the kitchen was filled with the sounds of cooking.
