Chapter 316: Huh?
Chapter 316: Huh?
The Luo Family's presence in Tui Town represented absolute authority—not merely due to prestige, but because they'd carved it out through sheer martial might.
The unconscious Luo Shan lying in that massive crater symbolized overwhelming power in the eyes of other martial artists. After all, he'd been a champion of the Martial Arts Grand Tournament.
If even the champion had been defeated, no one else had the courage to resist.
They were lined up and shipped out—quite literally in every sense.
Amusement Street's population wasn't small by any means. The Navy alone couldn't handle such a massive evacuation, but with the Naval Auxiliary Army's help, thousands strong, they managed to disperse the crowd in batches, finally leaving the street eerily quiet.
This crackdown caused the number of ships docked at the Provisional Port to plummet dramatically.
After purging Amusement Street, Tui Town's remaining resistance against the Navy dwindled to nothing. Not that they'd ever truly resisted in the first place. Now, Kuro didn't even need to intimidate enemies through killing intent or displays of dominance.
The Naval Auxiliary Army alone—now swollen to thousands—was more than sufficient.
"Form lines! Form lines properly!"
Klah patrolled the orderly queue, casually calling out, "All physically fit individuals! Black-clothed ones! Foreign merchants and pirates—line up accordingly!"
"Hey, Navy man", suddenly a black-clad figure stepped forward, whispering urgently to Klah, "we need to talk. Come with me."
Crack!
Before he finished speaking, Naval Auxiliary soldiers rushed over, delivering a sharp slap to the man's neck.
"Who gave you permission to break formation? Get back in line! Do you think the Naval Auxiliary Army doesn't exist?!"
Ever since Kuro kept emphasizing the "Naval Auxiliary Army" title, these weaker martial artists found the name oddly empowering. It gave their loosely organized group an identity, uniting them against stronger opponents they hoped to drive out.
As for their great benefactor—the Navy—they naturally treated him with utmost respect.
"You—" The black-clad man glared at the soldier, clenched his fist, then inhaled deeply and turned to Klah. "I need to talk to you. Come now."
"Why, still talking?!"
Several Naval Auxiliary soldiers surrounded him, dragging him out of line. A punch smashed into his nose, sending him staggering backward. Deng Shi felt a sharp sting as tears streamed down his face.
"Let me teach you Navy-sama's rules!"
Surrounded by kicks and punches, the man curled into a ball to protect himself. The brutality made onlookers cringe but stand straighter in line.
"Stop! Stop hitting me! I really need to talk to Navy! You'll regret this!"
The man screamed as someone stomped on his mouth.
"Daring to threaten Navy-sama? Keep beating him mercilessly!"
The martial artist growled, raining down punches and kicks with renewed ferocity.
"Enough! I'm the—"
Bang!
"You're the world's evilest criminal today! Even Luo Shan officer got eliminated—what makes you special?!"
"No, I'm the—"
Bang!
"Not even the world's richest person would work! Everyone knows the richest is Tezoro! You don't count!"
Seizing an opening, the black-clad man clamped his hand over his mouth, rolled onto his back to endure the beating, then squeezed his head through the crowd's gaps, yelling:
"I'm a World Government official!!!"
Deng Shi fell silent.
Meanwhile, Kuro had somehow acquired a chair, lounging comfortably with a cigar. Upon hearing this, he glanced over lazily.
"Kuro-sama—"
Klah hesitated, turning his head to speak.
Kuro raised a hand, silencing him. His expression remained indifferent.
The Naval Auxiliary Army understood immediately.
"Daring to impersonate a World Government official?!"
A punch slammed into the official's head, smashing his face into the ground.
"You think Navy-sama wouldn't recognize real World Government agents? Keep beating this lying scoundrel until he learns his lesson!"
The beating intensified.
"I'm telling the truth, I—"
The official tried again, but more Naval Auxiliary soldiers descended upon him, pummeling him relentlessly.
The man curled tighter, gritting his teeth through the blows. Reaching into his robes, he pulled out a document and shouted: "I really am a World Government official! Ow!"
Who would listen now? A soldier kicked his hand, sending the identification flying straight toward Kuro.
Plop.
The document landed perfectly at Kuro's feet. He glanced down, his expression twisting into a frown.
"Hey? Kuro, that actually looks like the World Government's emblem", Lida leaned in curiously, examining the cover.
"I know."
Kuro smacked his lips, smirking. "Perfect timing! Now I'm 100% safe. He'll definitely complain about me, but someone this weak must have zero influence. His complaint won't carry weight anyway!"
"But Kuro-sama—"
Klah approached, eyeing the document. "What if the World Government really does have business with us?"
"What business?"
Kuro rolled his eyes. "Nothing good ever comes from dealing with them. I'm not getting involved."
He glared at the unconscious official. "Eye Sword."
Deng Shi jolted as the man fainted instantly.
Kuro stood, brushing his pants. "Let's go report back. Ask the Luo Family if they'll finally grant me face. If not, I'll just demolish their damn tournament ring."
His mission here was nearly complete anyway. With incidents like this, someone would surely file a complaint.
Now it was Lida's turn.
Though Kuro believed Lida's bloodline curse was already lifted, he wanted confirmation.
What? Still refusing?
Then forget holding the Martial Arts Grand Tournament altogether.
He wouldn't even leave these Naval Auxiliary soldiers behind.
Kuro's boot crushed the World Government's identification as he strode toward the Provisional Port with the Navy.

As Kuro reached the Port, a group of black-clad figures awaited him.
Seeing the Navy approach, one figure blurred forward with Shave speed, presenting his credentials to Kuro.
"Commander Lucius Kro."
The man declared, "We are CP (Cipher Pol). We are here to conscript you for capturing the Revolutionary Army forces recently appearing in Insect Country."
Kuro paused, exhaling cigar smoke. "Eh?"
The Revolutionary Army?!
