"You're here."

"You shouldn't be here."

"Get out now! You barged into my house and now my bathroom, Guy! What are you trying to do?"
Even the usually aloof Kakashi couldn't keep up his stoic facade any longer, and he glared at Might Guy, who had intruded into his bathroom, with a look of exasperation.
"Of course, I'm here for a battle filled with youth and passion!" Might Guy enthusiastically replied, raising his arm and giving Kakashi a thumbs-up.
Kakashi: ...
If he hadn't been covered in soap suds, he would have given Might Guy's obnoxiously cheerful smile a good kick.
Who challenges someone to a duel by barging into their bathroom at night?
"Even if we're going to fight, can't it wait until after I've finished showering?" Kakashi couldn't help but retort.
"As expected of my arch-rival, always ready for a fight! I'll be waiting outside!" Might Guy beamed, his brilliant smile showcasing two rows of gleaming white teeth under the lamplight.
Kakashi sighed and rubbed his forehead in exasperation. He began to wonder if his father had misjudged Might Guy all those years ago.
Could Might Guy really become stronger than him and be a worthy opponent?
Nevertheless, if Might Guy wanted a fight, he'd give him one. It would be a good opportunity to show him the gap between their strengths.
Kakashi quickly finished rinsing off the soap and put on his clothes before stepping outside.
"Let's settle this once and for all!" Might Guy struck a confident pose and shouted passionately.
"Are we going with taijutsu this time?" Kakashi asked.
Ever since their first year, Might Guy had been challenging him in various ways, be it battles or contests like shuriken throwing.
"No," Might Guy shook his head. "This time, use all your strength and treat this as a formal battle."
"Are you sure?" Kakashi asked again.
If they were going all out, he didn't think Might Guy would stand a chance.
He had become a chunin two years ago, while Might Guy was still a student at the Ninja Academy.
"Absolutely!" Might Guy asserted with a brilliant smile.
"Then be careful," Kakashi warned, and immediately threw four shuriken at Might Guy.
Might Guy dodged the shuriken with a swift movement, only to find Kakashi already close by, fist cocked back.
"Konoha Whirlwind!"
Might Guy unleashed a rapid whirlwind kick, colliding with Kakashi's fist. The force of the impact sent them both stumbling backward.
"Hmm?" Kakashi's eyes narrowed as he regarded Might Guy with a hint of surprise.
He hadn't expected Might Guy to react and counter so quickly, and the speed of his kick was unexpectedly fast.
Might Guy had also challenged him two months ago, focusing on taijutsu.
Compared to their previous encounter, Might Guy had made noticeable improvements.
"Well, Kakashi, I've gotten a lot stronger, haven't I?" Might Guy laughed heartily.
"Let's see if you can keep laughing after this," Kakashi said, his eyes narrowing with intensity.
Kakashi swiftly formed hand seals, creating four shadow clones. The clones formed their own hand seals and used the Shadow Clone Technique, generating countless illusions.
"So many Kakashis!" Might Guy was taken aback by the sudden appearance of dozens of Kakashi clones.
Kakashi clones charged at Might Guy from all directions, and he responded by using the Konoha Whirlwind again, taking out more than a dozen clones in one go. However, they were all illusions, and the remaining shadow clones seized the opportunity to strike.
As Might Guy struggled to keep up with the onslaught, a hand suddenly shot out from the ground, grabbing his foot.
"Earth Style: Decapitation Prison Technique!"
Might Guy felt himself being pulled underground at incredible speed. By the time he realized what was happening, only his head remained above the ground.
He had been able to hold his own against that student from the Hyuga clan, only losing due to his opponent's Byakugan seeing through his techniques.
However, against Kakashi, aside from the initial taijutsu clash, he quickly fell behind and Kakashi found an opportunity to end the fight with a decisive blow.
It was a crushing defeat, and Might Guy could only admit as much.
"Now that you know my strength, go train some more and come back another time. At least graduate first," Kakashi said bluntly.
"Alright, I'll come find you again once I become stronger," Might Guy laughed.
Kakashi felt that Might Guy might be selectively deaf, as he seemed to ignore the latter part of his sentence.
Not bothering to ask if Might Guy had actually taken his words to heart, Kakashi released him and headed home.
Might Guy dusted himself off, watching Kakashi's retreating figure, his fist clenched tight.
"I need to become even stronger!"
After this full-force battle with Kakashi, Might Guy had a newfound perspective. To become the strongest, he realized he still had a long way to go.
Might Guy made up his mind; he would ask Teacher Mu Yue tomorrow if she could help him devise a stricter training regimen!
The next day, at the Ninja Academy...
"Next, I'll go over some key points to keep in mind when using the Clone Technique..." During the ninjutsu class, after teaching about hand seals and chakra control, Mu Yue also briefly introduced the Shadow Clone Technique.
Although there were only three ninjutsu techniques to learn in this class, there was still a lot of related theoretical knowledge to cover.

"It's worth trying. We have so many existing ninjutsu to learn from because of the efforts of our predecessors," Mu Yue encouraged Hagane's idea.
"However, I suggest you refrain from using it in actual battles until you've perfected it," Mu Yue warned.
If he could successfully create something like the Harem Technique, that would be great, but Mu Yue worried about the consequences if he ended up with some bizarre result instead.
"I understand, Teacher," Hagane nodded, planning to discuss this further with Kamizuki Izumo and Anko Mitarashi, his two good friends.
With the combined wisdom of these three top students in the class, they were confident they could develop a surprising new ninjutsu.
"Class dismissed!" Mu Yue announced as the bell rang.
