Chapter 300: Pushti Arrives in the Ninja World 【37】
In a certain training room, Hinata Hyuga, dressed in a short-sleeved outfit suitable for practicing her Gentle Fist style, was waving her small hands, continuously attacking Fengye in front of her.
"Don't hold back, let loose with your attacks."
Fengye, clad in loose clothing, effortlessly blocked each of Hinata's strikes with a single hand, his Rinnegan eye observing her chakra control and gauging the extent of her abilities.
Hinata's strength was not to be underestimated. As an inheritor of the Byakugan, she couldn't compare to geniuses like Sasuke and Naruto among her peers, but she still ranked in the middle. However, she always held back a bit during battles, even when telling herself to go all out. It was a part of her innate character—she wasn't suited for combat-oriented missions.
Fengye was well aware of this.
That was why it made sense for her to inherit Hamura's power. The current Konoha didn't lack combat-oriented ninjas; instead, they needed someone dedicated to communicating with the tailed beasts, a role Fengye had long ago envisioned for Hinata.
With Hamura's power, she could suppress the tailed beasts, and her personality was a perfect fit as well.
"Yes..." Hinata replied softly, catching her breath before continuing her assault.
After blocking several more of her attacks, Fengye took a step back and said, "Alright, that's enough for now."
Based on his observations and tests, he had a good grasp of Hinata's chakra control and knew how much of the seal he should release.
After letting Hinata rest for a moment, Fengye released about one percent of the seal on her, and Hamura's chakra immediately surged forth.
"Ugh... Whew..."
Hinata's body tensed, and her Byakugan activated involuntarily.
Even though it was only about one percent of Hamura's chakra, it still exceeded what she could handle, burdening her and causing her own chakra to be influenced by Hamura's.
"You should be able to control this amount of chakra now," Fengye said to her.
Hinata bit her lip lightly, her expression determined as she struggled to contain the power. After about a minute, she slowly closed her Byakugan and suppressed the foreign chakra.
"Good, maintain that control," Fengye said with a smile. "Treat this chakra as a 'weight' during your training. Keep it at this level for now, and once you've adapted, I'll release another layer of the seal. We'll gradually increase it like this, and your physique will slowly transform."
Fengye turned and walked toward the door, saying, "Come along, and bring the prepared gifts."
"Yes..." Hinata replied softly, rising to her feet.
When she was seated, she could almost completely suppress the fluctuations of Hamura's chakra, but standing up caused a sudden upheaval.
The uncontrolled chakra surged from her feet, causing the floor beneath her to crack with a loud crunch.
"Ah... Ah..." Hinata exclaimed, her eyes widening in panic as she took a step back. Her snow-white feet seemed beyond her control, crushing another section of the floor, and the cracks spread further.
"Relax," Fengye said, turning his head at the doorway. "Don't be nervous. Take your time and adjust slowly."
She then took cautious steps forward, her tiny feet treading lightly on the floor, relieved that she didn't cause any more cracks. Slowly, she made her way toward the door.
...
Half a day later.
Three uniquely shaped vehicles departed from Konoha.
The vehicles were constructed from wood and metal, each roughly the size of two small houses. Instead of wheels, metal 'legs' protruded from the bottom, moving forward with a life of their own.
When encountering a sunken pit or a protruding stone, the legs would naturally retract like liquid metal, ensuring an exceptionally smooth ride.
Inside one of the vehicles.
"Your name is Hinata, right? You're so cute."
Lin sat beside Hinata, smiling as she playfully ruffled her hair. Hinata blushed, lowering her head in shyness.
"Please, take care of me, Miss Nohara."
Lin's actions made it challenging for Hinata to control the chakra within her, and she had to sit there, steeling her resolve to contain the surging power.
Lin withdrew her hand and, seeing Hinata's flushed face, smiled gently. "Take care of me as well... It's so nice of Hokage-sama to take time out of his vacation to guide you in your training."
"Eh? Vacation?"
Hinata paused, looking up at Lin.
Lin tilted her head and laughed. "Yes, it's Hokage-sama's rare holiday."
Learning from Lin that Fengye had originally planned a relaxing vacation but still chose to bring her along to guide her training, Hinata felt a sense of guilt, further strengthening her determination to master the 'Ancestral Power' and not let Fengye down.
Meanwhile, in another vehicle.
Fengye retracted his gaze.
His original plan had been to create a spatial passage directly to the spa resort, but he decided against it, feeling that it would defeat the purpose of a journey. Besides, this way, he could also provide guidance to Hinata during the trip.
...
In the vastness of space, above the moon.
The void suddenly split apart, fragment by fragment, turning black and eventually forming a pitch-black spatial passage—the Yellow Spring of Hiraeshi.
From within the rift, a figure emerged.
Dressed in unusual clothing unlike that of the ninja in the Shinobi World, he possessed eyes similar to the Byakugan of the Hyuga clan, and on his head sat an object resembling a forehead protector with a gap in its center.
"So this is the place?"
"Kaguya's world..."
Ootsutsuki Urashi floated in the void, gazing down at the Shinobi World below.
He scanned the surroundings and, with a hint of mockery in his smile, said, "Shimeji and the others are taking their sweet time... Well, I guess it's understandable; they're getting on in years."
Speaking thus, Urashi looked down at the Shinobi World, his eyes flickering. "Let's confirm if this is the right place and take the opportunity to gather some intelligence on that traitor."
Although it had been some time since he confirmed Kaguya-hime's betrayal, her true act of treachery likely occurred much earlier.
With nearly a millennium having passed, Kaguya-hime might have transformed all life in this world into 'Divine Tree Soldiers' and set up an elaborate scheme to entrap them. Such a situation would be rather troublesome.
As his words trailed off,
His figure flickered, and he descended toward the Shinobi World below.
