“Sage, can you hear me? Sage?” Damian shouted into the communicator several times, but no response came. He wondered, Is my communicator broken?
“Damian.” Suddenly, Nightwing’s voice crackled through.
“Hey, what’s going on, Dick? Where’s Sage?” Damian asked.
“Someone ambushed the Batcave.” Nightwing replied.
“What!” Damian wasn’t the only one shocked—Squire, standing nearby, also gasped.
“Don’t worry, Sage and Alfred are fine. They were just tied up.” Nightwing added.
“What about the Batcave itself? How bad is the damage?” Damian pressed.
Nightwing hesitated for a few seconds before answering, “Surprisingly minimal. My scans haven’t detected any bombs or bugs either.” He paused, his tone turning odd, “But… the intruder stole an entire Batman suit. And… Bruce’s Mantle.” (After Batman’s fatal battle with Darkseid, Superman and Wonder Woman had returned the Mantle to the Batcave.)
“Any idea who did this?” Damian asked.
“Who else? An otherworld traveler.” Nightwing replied.
“Need backup?” Damian asked.
“Not yet.” Nightwing said. “I’ll settle Barbara and Alfred in, then head over. Until then… let them fight.”
“Got it.”

Meanwhile, Shiva and Feng Bu Jue’s deadly duel had reached a fever pitch.
“Hmph… finally can’t keep it up, huh?” Shiva noticed Feng Bu Jue’s faint red aura flickering around him, signaling his physical-enhancing skills had stopped.
