The combination of the King of Ends and Heaven Demon God Norellas was an ancient deck once devised by Duelists during the GX era. It was a variation of the well-known High Insect deck, "Demise, King of Armageddon," with a similar build, except that "Doom Dozer Demon" was replaced with "Heaven Demon God Norellas."
The battle strategy was evident. Use Advanced Ritual Art to summon the King of Ends, and when selecting the ritual materials, choose either a Dark Attribute Demon-Type or a Light Attribute Angel-Type monster—though typically, the Demon-Type would be the normal choice.
This was because Light Attribute Angel-Type monsters would be used in conjunction with Senju God, who could directly search for ritual spells and ritual monsters.

The Guardian of the Tomb's remaining hand cards, the High Priest and Heretic on the field, You Xuan's Guardian of the Tomb token, and the King of Ends, Demise—all were swallowed by the ever-expanding darkness, even including Norellas itself.
And because the cards were sent to the graveyard instead of being destroyed, even the High Priest's effect of sparing itself from destruction couldn't be activated.

Both players' hands and fields were left empty, with only the single card You Xuan had just drawn remaining.
"Indeed, a terrifying ability," the Guardian of the Tomb said in a low voice. "But now, your field is also completely empty.
I have four thousand Life Points, and you have but a single card.

"I can search for a monster with 1500 or less ATK from my Deck." The Guardian of the Tomb frowned. "So what? Your field is empty, and you only have a single weak monster."

"Is that so?" You Xuan's smile remained gentle, but under the triple suns of the valley, it took on a slightly sinister cast.
"Batai Wu returns to my hand during the End Phase of the turn it is summoned. But its effect states that when this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent..."
You Xuan's eyelids lifted, and his gentle smile turned slightly predatory.
