Judai's eyes lit up with excitement.
"I'd love to duel this new Manjoume again," he thought.
"It's not over yet!" Manjoume declared, "I activate my face-down Continuous Trap, 'Limit Rebirth'!
When a monster with an ATK of 1000 or less is sent from my field to the Graveyard, Special Summon it in Attack Position!"
He drew a card, the one that had been discarded by "Angel's Charity" earlier.
"I revive this 'Wish Dragon'! Return to the field, 'Wish Dragon'!"

Like the Armed Dragon, this was another dragon-type monster from Manjoume's comic.
"The effect of 'Wish Dragon' allows me to tribute it to Special Summon two 'Dragon Tokens'!"
The Wish Dragon dissipated into specks of light, which then re-condensed to form two identical tokens, one on each side of the original monster.

"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell, 'Treasure of the Afterlife'.
When I Tribute two or more monsters for an Advanced Summon, I can draw two cards."
Manjoume took a deep breath.
"I know," he continued, "that it may seem like your field has been cleared, but there's more to your strategy than meets the eye, isn't there, Yuki? Or perhaps you're hiding something in your hand... Hmph, I know your type. Always so calm and collected, no matter what I do or how much pressure I put on you.
That's what makes you so infuriating!"
However, his tone suddenly shifted, and his voice rose in intensity.
"But enough of this!" Manjoume shouted, "Witness my true power, Yuki! This is the strongest force I've encountered since returning from hell, the symbol of my rebirth!
I Tribute the two 'Wish Dragon Tokens' on my field!"
A white whirlwind swept up the two Wish Dragons, reducing them to specks of light that vanished in the storm.
"Shine forth, wings of light! Devour, depths of darkness! Descend at the junction of light and darkness—'Light and Darkness Dragon'!"
Manjoume raised the card in his hand, and from it erupted a tempest of light and darkness.
"I summon the 'Light and Darkness Dragon'!!!'
One half of the dragon was of pure, radiant light, while the other was pitch-black like the abyss. These contradictory hues merged in the body of the dragon, one eye burning like the sun, the other deep and mysterious like the night.

"What kind of monster is that?" Marufuji exclaimed.
"Such a sacred feeling... Is this Manjoume's new ace?" Mizawa whispered.
A holy aura enveloped the entire arena as the fantastical Light and Darkness Dragon seemed to defy reality. Without the need for Elemental Affinity, everyone present could sense the extraordinary power of this beast.
"Kurikuri!" exclaimed Judai's Winged Kuriboh.
"A spirit, huh?" Judai's eyes widened in realization, "Manjoume's encountered a powerful spirit."
"The effect of 'Treasure of the Afterlife' lets me draw two cards when I Tribute two or more monsters for an Advanced Summon."
Manjoume drew his cards.
The Light and Darkness Dragon possessed an incredible ability—by reducing its ATK by 500 points, it could negate the effects of any monster, spell, or trap, and this effect was mandatory, leaving no room for its master to choose when to activate it.
Yuki smiled faintly. "Even though you've only encountered this spirit recently, it seems like you've already learned to harness this dragon's power quite skillfully, Manjoume."
Manjoume's heart skipped a beat. That tone of voice... How did it sound like he knew about the abilities of the Light and Darkness Dragon?
But that fleeting doubt was quickly suppressed by Manjoume.

"At the moment you declared your attack, I activate my face-down Trap Card! 'Entry Denied! No Entry!!!' All Attack Position monsters on the field are changed to Defense Position!" Judai declared.
"As expected," Manjoume narrowed his eyes. If he hadn't drawn "Mind Crush" this turn and used a Disturbance Token to destroy it with a self-destruct attack, it would have been stopped by this Trap Card.
But now...
"Wooden Guardian!" Manjoume shouted, raising his hand, "Effect of 'Light and Darkness Dragon!' Each time a Magic, Trap, or monster effect is activated, this card must decrease its own ATK and DEF by 500 points, and that effect is negated!"

The entire arena was shocked to hear this effect.
