Vivian was running across a vast and endless desert with a huge dust cloud following behind her. She was in her 3-meter tall Lesser Demon form and one of her demonic hands held her belongings wrapped with her White Cloak.

Her demonic eyes at the back of her were constantly tracking whoever was following her. And at a distance, what seemed to be a speck of dust, were 2 blue-colored nervous systems flying in the sky.

Why are they not giving up…?!

Is my speed not proof of how powerful I am…?

Or are they toying with me…?!

Vivian’s AGI was now 12 (+396) or 408 points and she was running with her full-speed so her body was moving x40.8 faster than the normal person.

To go in a little deeper, the average male runs 4 steps per second while the average female runs 3 steps per second.

Ignoring the fact that Vivian used to be a man and was a fit man back in her original world, if the 3 running steps per second would be applied on her for simplicity stake, combined that with her AGI 12 (+396) or 408, she was running 122.4 steps per second.

Up ahead, she saw an abandoned building in the middle of the desert and there was an entrance.

She entered the building and found what looked like a crude and large elevator -- to be specific, it was more like a pulley system than an elevator that was around 2 meters wide -- that led underground.

It took more than 30 seconds for Vivian to finally land at the bottom and she was met with a body of water that reached above close to her knees. She found herself inside a dark cave with man-made walls with a tunnel that were about 2 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide.

This has to be the Cave of Ka'Ya…

Unlike the mines in Vivian's original world which would take years for people to mine all of the precious metals, in this world, it would only take less than a year, depending on how many precious metals are available, how many people are involved and how powerful the workers are. Once all of the precious metals are mined, the place will be "semi-abandoned" for at least two centuries before the owners would return to re-mine it.

And just to make sure that no one would pre-mine the precious metals or some criminal, like a bandit, demon or Necromancer, would use the mine as a hiding spot, the owners would occasionally send an expedition party to check the mine's condition.

The authorities assigned at the nearby Seaports, Barracks and Border Checkpoints would also occasionally send their own expedition parties to check the mines and sure that the owners had not stationed any personal forces or created a secret base. This is to prevent anyone from creating a rogue settlement that will later form into a village, a town, a city and then a kingdom at the Great Plains of Stanza. And if the owners violated this, the ownership of the mine would transfer to the hands of the Twin Kingdom, the Holy Kingdom and the Marbleam Kingdom.

While I was falling, I counted 5 passages or floors…

So the Cave of Ka'ya is 6 floors deep, huh…

There was no information about the interiors of the Cave of Ka'ya in Vivian's office and at the shared office at the Third Inner Stanza Border Checkpoint. There were what looked like bats and birds flying towards her. There were giant spiders, some looked like the generic brown spiders found in houses while others looked like tarantulas, Sand Beetles and lizards that were around 8-10 inches long crawling on the walls and ceiling. And on the water, there were snakes and frogs.

Those spiders are seriously disgusting…

The hairs on my body are seriously standing…

A green-colored water-like ball appeared on her hand.

She threw it at least 2 meters away from her causing all of the nervous systems who were caught by the green mist to be paralyzed and fall into the water.

She took a few steps forward and then activated a spell.

Her 3-meter-long tail carefully struck in the middle, not hitting the walls and ceiling, creating a half-meter crater on the floor.

Vivian ignored the notification and focused on the nervous systems who weren't affected by the [Poison Bomb] and were trapped behind the wall of nervous systems earlier but were now making their way towards her through the passage created by her [Explosive Tail].
