Chapter 271: Kyle's Plan
Chapter 271: Kyle's Plan
After the shouting letter, a few people chuckled, and the murmur of voices gradually resumed.
Ron remained hiding under the table.
Harry felt guilty and kept his head down, unable to even eat his meal.
Fred and George were also in a similar mood... Mr. Weasley was about to be investigated, and there was a high chance he would lose his job over this.
They wanted to say something, perhaps to complain about Ron or scold him for not considering the consequences before acting.
But in the end, these words turned into a sigh.
Obviously, saying these things now was pointless.
Kyle looked at them and asked, "Are you worried about Mr. Weasley?"
Fred and George nodded.
Of course, they couldn't be worrying about Ron.
"I do have a plan that might help Mr. Weasley get through this investigation smoothly," Kyle said after some thought. "Do you want to hear it?"
"..."
"Oh, the esteemed Mr. Kyle... I knew you would have a solution," Fred said with a sycophantic smile, making him look even more like a lackey than Crabbe and Goyle.
George also eagerly made an extra-large ham and cheese sandwich and placed it on Kyle's plate.
Ron crawled out from under the table, and Harry and Hermione looked over as well.
"It's simple, just shift the focus of the matter," Kyle said, looking at Harry. "I heard that you couldn't get into the platform, so you drove to school, right?"
"Yes, that's right," Harry nodded repeatedly.
Even now, he couldn't understand how the platform entrance suddenly turned into an ordinary stone wall when he passed through it.
"So, Kyle, you're saying the focus is on the inaccessible platform?" Cedric frowned.
"Exactly," Kyle nodded.
"But we already mentioned this," Harry sighed. "Professor McGonagall didn't care at all, and she thought we should send an owl to notify the school."
In his opinion, even Professor McGonagall thought this way, so the Ministry of Magic would probably think the same.
"Then you didn't express it correctly."
Kyle smiled and said, "Don't forget, Potter, besides being a Hogwarts student, you have another identity."
"Me, another identity?" Harry was a bit confused.
"The Savior!" Conna suddenly said.
"Yes," Kyle said. "Under normal circumstances, the platform would never malfunction. It must have been interfered with by someone.
Coincidentally, with all the adults absent, the Savior was blocked outside the platform... Do you think this could be the work of the Death Eaters?"
Cedric sucked in a breath of cold air.
"They wanted to take the opportunity to kill Harry to avenge the Dark Lord!"
Harry also showed a terrified expression, as he hadn't thought of this before.
Could Kyle be telling the truth? Did he almost die?
"That's right," Kyle took a sip of lemonade.
"The Death Eaters have long been plotting to kill the Savior to avenge Voldemort... I mean, the Dark Lord."
Seeing the others' terrified expressions, Kyle had to change his wording and continued, "Fortunately, Mr. Weasley had anticipated such a situation and arranged for a flying car in advance, just in case. That's how Harry managed to escape."
"So, what do you think of this reason?"
"Was the car arranged by Dad in advance?" Fred blinked.
If it weren't for his understanding of Mr. Weasley's character, he might have believed it.
"Yes, it was arranged in advance," Kyle said, implying that they were on the same page.
"But will the Ministry of Magic believe it?" George frowned.
He wasn't sure about the others, but Malfoy would definitely not let this opportunity pass. He had been opposing that guy, and he wouldn't easily let go of this chance.
"Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant. What's important is the possibility of such an event occurring."
"Imagine if the savior was truly killed by Death Eaters at King's Cross Station. It would be a fatal blow to the Ministry of Magic as well."
"Their prestige would take a severe hit, and as the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge might even be forced to step down due to the outcry of howling letters."
"Fudge is a suspicious man, especially when it comes to his position as Minister. He'll believe it if there's even a sliver of possibility."
"Right, Potter, did anyone see you entering the station?"
Kyle turned to Harry, "I'm talking about the Muggles in the station."
"I think I remember a guard seeing us..." Harry added unconsciously, "He even asked if I needed help."
"Excellent, we've got the crucial evidence... the Muggle's memory."
Kyle laughed.
The expressions of the others were priceless.

"Kyle, do you want some Butterbeer?" Fred suddenly asked.
He had originally planned to brush it off, but now he thought... it's better to let it go.
What if Kyle gets upset? He might not even know how he died.
"So, what do we do next?" Harry was eager and asked, "Do I need to write a letter to the Ministry?"
As long as it helps Mr. Weasley quickly, he's willing to do anything.
"We need to write a letter, but not to the Ministry. It's for her..."
Kyle tapped on the opened Daily Prophet on the table.
On the front page, there was a photo of a flying Ford Anglia and a bold headline:
"Arthur Weasley, the Evil Man Behind the Friendly Facade"
This was an article by Rita Skeeter, who not only condemned Mr. Weasley for stealing from his own department and modifying magical vehicles but also hinted that he used his position to collect favors from pure-blood families.
At the end of the article:
"An anonymous victim stated: Arthur demanded Galleons from me. When I refused, he ransacked my house, trampled on my precious unicorn hair carpet, and even broke a valuable unicorn hair rug."
"This must be Malfoy's doing!" Fred's face turned red with anger.
"He's lying!" George slapped the newspaper, "I wish Dad would take some favors so we wouldn't have to buy Ginny her new robes."
"Calm down, we all know Mr. Weasley's character, but now isn't the time to consider these things."
Kyle tapped on Rita Skeeter's name.
"We can learn from the Malfoys and reveal some 'reliable information' to her."
"I understand." Fred pondered for a moment and then laughed, "Leave it to us."
"Remember not to be too obvious." Kyle reminded them, "Let her figure it out herself."
"No problem!" George patted his chest, "We know what to do."
The three of them exchanged a smile, understanding each other without words.
Only Harry was left bewildered, "What are you talking about... So, who am I writing to?"
"Leave the letter-writing to Fred and George."
Kyle said, "Just tell others that someone doesn't want you to return to school if they ask."
"Okay, okay!"
Harry seemed a bit nervous and kept asking Kyle how to respond if others asked different questions.
This time, Kyle didn't provide a standard answer. Instead, he advised Harry to remain silent if he didn't know how to respond.
There was no need for this anyway.
The details during the process didn't require their consideration. Someone would help... after all, this was what Rita Skeeter was best at.
