Chapter 27: Elite Rank, Bloodthirsty Goblins
Chapter 27: Elite Rank, Bloodthirsty Goblins

Description:
No mage has ever bestowed such formidable power upon goblins. With the maximum attributes of a 1st Tier unit and this complete set of standard treasures, even 2nd Tier units might not be a match. In dire situations, 2nd Tier elites could be cut down by these goblins.
After reaching Elite rank, the 100 Bloodthirsty Goblins, clad in thick armor, exuded an intense aura of death and bloodlust. The smell of blood and the aura of killing intent made Qin Muye's scalp tingle.
Interestingly, even the prefix had changed. Originally, they were Mystic Goblins, but now they were Bloodthirsty Goblins. This was quite normal, as only the Bloodthirsty Goblins could be trained with blood magic, making them the exclusive forces of blood warriors.
Especially the Bloodthirsty Fury active skill, which, although a 1:1 trade of health, combined with Elemental Resonance, effectively turned 1 point of health into 2 points of attack.
A 1st Tier unit with the strength of a 2nd Tier, capable of even killing 2nd Tier elites when their health was low enough. Coupled with Qin Muye's healing, it was almost a perpetual motion machine, though the increase in health would also reduce attack, which was a fair trade-off.
The standard set boosted their defense by 5 points, bringing their total defense to 14, which was quite high for handling attacks.
Unfortunately, there were only four pieces of the set. The armor was a full-body iron plate, which was still quite good.
"Alright, arrange the watch and then go rest. We have to deal with a monster siege at noon today," Qin Muye said, dismissing all the units to rest.
After handling the arrangements, Qin Muye also went to take a short nap. He was quite worn out, having stayed with them from yesterday until this morning, occasionally casting healing spells to ensure they wouldn't be injured during the intense training.
It was around six or seven in the morning. Even if he didn't need rest, standing there was tiring. His physical condition hadn't changed much; he was still a weak scholar. Moreover, they had a tough battle at noon, and pushing himself too hard could lead to disaster.
Before going to sleep, he opened the marketplace and casually browsed through it.
There wasn't much of interest, mostly a mix of various items, and the prices were not cheap. Clearly, the top-ranking players had put them up for sale.
"There’s also iron ore. Most of the materials in my territory are just rocks, and there’s no way I can forge them into equipment."
To put it simply, one unit of iron ore can forge one standard piece of equipment. If the forge is fully staffed, it can produce at least 100 pieces of equipment per day.
Blacksmith’s Forge LV1: When a unit is stationed and there are sufficient materials, it can produce 10 basic items per day, with a maximum capacity of (0/100).
Currently Available:
- Standard Helmet: 1 unit of iron ore
- Standard Armor: 1 unit of iron ore
- Standard Shield: 1 unit of iron ore
- Standard Longsword: 1 unit of iron ore
- Standard Spear: 1 unit of iron ore
There are only three types of armor, but the weapons include swords, spears, axes, and halberds, all priced at 1 unit of iron ore each.
Next, Muir Quentin began searching the points store for resource buildings that produce iron ore. Surprisingly, he found one. It wasn’t a special resource but rather a common one under the mining category.
The cost was reasonable at 500 points, so Muir Quentin promptly exchanged for it and learned the blueprint. He then built two iron ore mines in his territory. Building them would take time, and it was a good opportunity for his creatures to rest. After the next monster siege, the creatures could move in and start producing iron ore.
If everything went smoothly, he could work through the night and produce at least 40 pieces of equipment by tomorrow. Then, he could recruit 10 more magic creatures, which would be a significant boost.
Additionally, there were many other resource-producing buildings, such as the Hunter’s Hut, which produced furs and food. Furs could be crafted into leather armor, robes, gloves, and other equipment at the Tailor’s Shop. There were also Forest Yards that increased wood production from lumber mills and Mills that increased food production.
However, there were no derivative buildings for special resources.
"If everything goes well this time, I’ll try to get blueprints for all types of resource buildings and their associated supply chains."
Resources were crucial, and industries like the Tailor’s Shop and Blacksmith’s Forge were essential for converting resources into usable items.
For example, his creatures could equip shoes, undergarments, and gloves in addition to the four standard pieces of equipment. Unfortunately, the store didn’t sell these items.
Moreover, he would need important supplies like cotton clothes and blankets in the future. The weather was good now, but it wouldn’t always be this way.
He also needed a market to trade and acquire a large amount of resources. Without gold, he couldn’t even recruit more magic creatures, let alone buy various goods from the locals, which would also require money.
With enough gold, he could recruit more magic creatures to operate the various buildings. It was fortunate that he had initially obtained the Handy Creature, which could do both combat and household tasks, unlike other types of units.
"I’ll recruit the remaining gold into more magic creatures when I wake up. It doesn’t matter if it takes a bit longer."
Looking at the 30,000 gold coins he had left, Muir Quentin realized it wasn’t much. It wouldn’t last long if he spent it recklessly.
After all, his magic creature workshop still had 459 creatures, which would cost 459,000 gold coins to fully recruit.
