Inside the house, Tina was placing a plate of freshly baked cookies on the table.
"It's Kyle," Newt answered with a smile.
Tina looked up, slightly surprised as she had expected it to be an old friend.
"Did you forget something?"
She handed the plate of cookies to Kyle.
"You could have just sent an owl, why come all this way?
And isn't term starting at Hogwarts tomorrow?"
Not long after returning from Paris, Kyle had visited Newt and Tina, staying with them for a couple of days.

"Don't worry." Newt walked up behind him. "Phoenixes may be proud, but they don't shun Poke Balls, so you don't have to be concerned about them."
Kyle twitched his lips.
He wasn't worried about the Poke Balls at all; it was the herbs he was concerned about...
Fox was becoming more and more like a foodie. When it had left earlier, Kyle could even hear it salivating—it was obviously off to an all-you-can-eat buffet!
Seeing Newt's nonchalant expression, it was clear he hadn't realized the severity of the situation yet.

"We have Norbert's scent on us, and she doesn't like that kid." Newt explained.
Kyle nodded, understanding the situation.
They didn't stay long in this area. After leaving the fire dragon's island, Newt took Kyle to another section to see the giant.
This guy seemed to be living a carefree life. As Kyle approached, he saw the giant lying on the grass, hugging its wooden club and snoring loudly.
