Elio was running in a dark hallway that led to the South Gate. And at the gate, there was a group of people gathered there.

He gripped the hilt of his sword [Fiamma Oscura]. And as he drew out the blade, a gleeful and sinister laughter echoed from the sword and his eyes began to shine with a gray-white glow and black flames also started to cover his body.

KILL…!

BURN…!

Voices from the sword also started to scream inside his head.

KILL…!

BURN…!

"Out of the way!" he bellowed but his voice sounded like there were two voices -- his voice and an eerily and screeching voice.

KILL…!

BURN…!

Everyone turned around to see who shouted. When they saw his dark-flamed appearance, everyone quickly moved away from the gate.

Through the gaps in the gate, Elio saw the Sky Enforcer Units descending from the sky and heading toward the group of prisoners forced to dress up the Demon Verin Ai’ka and her evil army.

[Explosive Sword].

Booom!

Elio made a hole in the gate and shot through it.

Vooom!

As he entered the battlefield, he immediately headed to the prisoners while searching for Saa'liha. He spotted her among the generals of Ai'ka dressed in a set of armor while carrying a sword and shield, and saw Eithar, last year's Feugo Tournament champion, riding a Draghorn and charging towards her.

"DAE-AI'KA!!!" he shouted in the Daemon language and activated a skill.

[Explosive Throw].

He threw his sword at Eithar and the Draghorn.

Booom!

A huge chunk of the Draghorn's body exploded into a mist of blood and then crashed to the ground. Eithar, on the other hand, most of his armor and clothes were destroyed and he was injured as he crashed to the ground as well.

Saa'liha turned to Elio.

"DAE-UNCLE DAE-ELIO!" she said and then rushed over to him.

Elio held out his hand and his sword, [Fiamma Oscura], rose from the ground and flew to back him.

Saa'liha finally reached Elio but she didn't dare to touch him because his body was covered in black flames.

"Dae-What dae-do dae-we dae-do dae-now?! Dae-We're dae-outnumbered!"

Elio looked at the battle around them.

Ca'rat was battling Cruz, Sarah and Sa'no were battling Marco, and Mi'ieel was battling the rest of the Sky Enforcer Unit.

"Don't forget about us!" a familiar voice entered Elio's ears.

Elio and Saa'liha turned around to the direction of where the voice was coming from and saw Kyle who had a Mana Bow on his hand. There was also a group of about 20 people jumping down from the bleachers and joining the fight and among them was Gardo.

"Protect our allies and the prisoners! We just have to hold on until the General and his group arrive! And no True Death!" Gardo said with a large Mana Hammer on his right hand and some Bombs on his left hand.

"FIAMMA OSCURA!!!" a male voice shouted.

Elio turned and saw Eithar who was half naked and bleeding with a Mana Claw that covered his entire right arm.

Vooom!

He charged towards Elio.

Elio got into a sword stance.

Eithar activated [Enchant Fire] and his entire right arm was covered in flames.

"I'LL BREAK YOU AND THAT SWORD OF YOURS!!!"

Whooosh!

Elio swung his sword and appeared behind Eithar.

Brgh…!

Thud, thud…!

A black horizontal line slowly began to appear on Eithar's on his stomach and then his whole body suddenly burst into black flames as it separated into two pieces.

Unfortunately for Eithar, Elio was just too powerful. His stats were:

It grants its chosen Master a Physical and Magic Force boost of 2 grades and can summon a 3-meter-tall version of its chosen Master. However, in exchange, it absorbs the remaining life force of its chosen Master.

Although Eithar had the [Fire Body], the dark flames of the [Fiamma Oscura] was a unique element. It neither falls on the Fire nor the Dark Affinity. So even if the target had [Fire Body] or [Dark Body], they would still be affected unless their Magic Force was greater than 2 Grades compared to the owner. On top of that, despite the sword only being Mithril, due to its [Lore Item] status, the blade was protected by its dark flames and the strength or durability of the dark flames is based on the owner's Magic Force.

"EITHAR!!!" a man shouted.

It was a Knight wearing the same kind of Eithar's armor and riding a Draghorn as well. He summoned a [Fire Spear] that was 1.5 meters long instead of the standard 1 meter thanks to the Lore Magic bestowed upon him by the Plano Family as well and threw it at Elio.

Elio easily evaded it.

The Knight and Draghorn were suddenly struck down by an [Explosive Arrow] and they both came falling down from the sky.

Before the Knight and Draghorn could even reach the ground, two mana arrows flew and struck each of them in the head, killing them immediately.

Kyle whistled.

"And this is why I don't use this Mana Bow," he said and then turned to another enemy.

Wooo!

Chak!

"I'm just too good, baby~!"

Wooo!

And as for Kyle's stats:

Elio ignored Kyle and rushed over Saa'liha who was ganging up with a group of people in fighting a Knight.

Whooosh!

Brgh…!

Thud, thud…!

Elio appeared behind the Knight and he was sliced into two pieces just like Eithar and everyone stared at Elio in awe.

"Dae-Saa'liha!"

She rushed over to him.

"Dae-Uncle Dae-Elio, dae-we dae-can dae-win dae-this dae-and dae-save dae-everyone!" she said excitedly.

"Dae-I dae-need dae-you dae-to dae-stick dae-behind dae-me. Dae-This dae-is dae-far dae-from dae-over," he said and then turned to the Royal Box with a dark expression on his face. "Dae-The dae-powerful dae-ones dae-haven't dae-moved dae-yet."

"Dae-Uncle Dae-Elio, dae-look!" Saa'liha said and pointed.

"Elio! We need your help!" Kyle shouted as well.

Elio turned to where Saa'liha was pointing.

Zacharias was staring at Sa'no with cold eyes who was fighting with Sarah against Cruz and Marco.

After seeing Sa'no cast Sanctuary earlier and knowing that he not only sided with the Housan Empire but also had the Lesser Chaos Affinity despite being human, the amount of disgust he felt was immeasurable.

"Many have died to protect the human race yet heretics like them still continue to prop up…" he said in Zonian.

"God of Light, why do You still bless them with your Element…?

"Has the Temple of Priests not bleed, suffer and sacrifice enough…?

"Has the human race not bleed, suffer and sacrifice enough…?"

He closed his eyes and shook his head.

"I understand…

"This is to remind the young ones the value of protecting the human race…

"But still…"

He clenched his jaw and tightened his grip on his giant axe that had a haft of 7ft long and a blade 3ft long made out of blue mana and infused with [Enchant Lightning], and then relaxed before finally opening his eyes.

His gaze landed on the Sky Enforcer Units fighting against Me'ieel, the prisoners and the rebel heretics. As much as he wanted to kill Sa'no himself, he knew he had to put aside his personal feelings, stick with proper battle tactics.

Vooom!

With his Physical and Magic Force at 10 (+360), he moved like a blur and appeared to the nearest enemy, a female heretic rebel.

Whoo-pscht!

"GYAAAH!!!"

The female heretic rebel was cut in half and also electrocuted, killing her immediately.

Vooom!

He moved to the next heretic rebel.

Whoo-pscht!

"GAAAHHH!!!"

The male heretic rebel met the same fate as the female heretic rebel.

"So not all of you have sold your soul to Chaos? Nevertheless, the punishment is still death for associating yourselves with it."

Vooom!

Zacharias appeared in behind Gardo who was fighting a Knight.

Woooh!

Booom!

An [Explosive Arrow] landed on Zacharia's right shoulder but it only managed to tear away his clothing, leaving him half-naked.

Woooh!

Woooh!

Tsh.

Tsrp!

Two more arrows struck him but they only disappeared upon impact as if they struck an impenetrable wall. And one of the arrows was actually a [Power Arrow].

Zacharias casually turned to his right to see who shot the arrows and saw Kyle.

Gulp.

Gulp.

Vooom!

He also saw Elio who took out a Physical Force Power-up Potion and a Magical Force Power-up Potion and drank them before charging.

Woooh!

Woooh!

Bliiing!

Bliiing!

And as for Gardo, he took out two Flash-Bombs -- he threw one at the Knight and the other one at Zacharias as he distanced himself from them.

Elio, who was charging towards Zacharias, activated one of the skills of his sword. A 3-meter-tall being made out of dark flames appeared on his body and mimicked his movement, including the shape of his sword.

[Cleanse].

A green light enveloped Zacharias' body and the effect of the Flash-Bomb on his eyes disappeared.

CLANG!!!

Zacharias' Mana Axe and the 3-meter-tall dark flame being's dark flame sword clashed.

"Not bad, heretic," Zacharias said calmly.

Boo-ooo…!

Boo-ooo…!

Two [Soul Bombs] were thrown at Zacharias by the rebel heretics.

Woooh!

Psssh!

Gardo threw a Gas-Bomb on Zacharias and purple-colored smoke exploded on him, causing his eyes to water and burn as if they were struck with pepper spray.

[Holy Wrath].

A golden light shock-wave exploded from Zacharias' body but it only managed to shake Elio’s body a bit.

[Explosive Axe].

Booom!

Zacharias immediately followed up with a Physical Art and more than 50% of Elio and the sword [Fiamma Oscura] turned into a mist of blood and metal.

"DAE-UNCLE DAE-ELIO…!!!" Saa'liha screamed and then immediately charged as tears flew from her eyes and she tightened her grip on her spear.

Woooh!

Woooh!

Wooom!

Zacharias jumped to the sky and the the two [Soul Bomb] spells missed him.

[Cleanse].

Green light enveloped his body and the watery and burning sensation in his eyes disappeared.

Thud.

When Zacharias landed on the ground, Saa'liha finally reached the remains of Elio.

Clang!

Thud!

She dropped her spear and fell to the ground on her knees as she stared at the red stains and what little remained of Elio's body and the sword [Fiamma Oscura].

"Dae-Uncle Dae-Elio… Dae-This…" she said as she stretched out her shaky hands.

Vooom!

Chud!

Kyle appeared right next to her. He grabbed her arm and yank her up.

"Dae-Pick dae-up dae-your dae-spear dae-and dae-get dae-up! Dae-Mourn dae-later!"

As Saa'liha was still half-standing and half-staring at the remains of Elio, Kyle turned to check on Zacharias.

Wooo-pscht!

Gardo was just sliced in half while the two rebel heretics who kept throwing [Soul Bomb] spells at him earlier were already sliced in half and laying on the ground. Zacharias turned his gaze to him and Saa'liha.

"SHIT!!!" he cursed under his breath in his Zonian. He deactivated his Mana Bow and took out a Flash-Bomb and Noise-Bomb as he activated a spell.

[Sanctuary].

Shriiing, shriiing, shriiing!

A 10-meter-incantation circle appeared underneath his feet meanwhile and everyone standing within the circle was being healed.

Vooom!

Zacharias appeared right in front of them and raised his Mana Axe.

Bliiing!

Scriiing!

Shriiing, shriiing, shriiing!

As the Flash-Bomb exploded into a blinding light and the Noise-Bomb exploded into a screeching sound with the [Sanctuary] began shimmering with a golden light, the broken handle of the [Fiamma Oscura] suddenly flew towards Saa'liha's hand.

Chud.

Shriiing, shriiing, shriiing!

While Saa’liha was still processing why the broken handle of the [Fiamma Oscura] flew to her hand, Kyle grabbed her and then drag her with him but remained running around the [Sanctuary].

[Cleanse].

A green light enveloped Zacharias' body.

Woooh!

Woooh!

Bliiing!

Scriiing!

Kyle threw another pair of Flash and Noise-Bombs.

Vooom!

Whoo-pscht!

"AAAHHH!!!" Kyle cried out in pain.

"GYAAAHHH!!!" Saa'liha also cried out in pain.

Thud.

Thud, thud!

Despite being afflicted by the Flash and Noise-Bombs once again, Zacharias rushed over to the location and trajectory of where the bombs were thrown and swung his Mana Axe. His blade managed to slice off Kyle's arm and about 3 inches deep into his rib. And with the effect of his [Enchant Lightning] and Kyle holding Saa'liha, both Kyle and Saa'liha were electrocuted.

[Lesser Chaos Transformation].

Blaaak!

As the [Sanctuary] spell vanished due to the death of Kyle, Saa'liha, on the other hand, resurrected herself.

KILL…!

BURN…!

KILL…!

BURN…!

A voice was screaming inside Saa'liha's head as she got up and glared at Zacharias with a murderous and bloodthirsty expression. Her eyes began to shine with a gray-white glow and black flames covered her body. The broken sword [Fiamma Oscura] on her hand absorbed her lifeforce and regenerated to its original form, and a 3-meter-tall dark flame being appeared on her body, mimicking her movement.

KILL…!

BURN…!

"DAE-I'LL DAE-KILL DAE-YOU…!!!" her voice sounded like there were two voices -- her voice and an eerily and screeching voice.

[Cleanse].

A green light enveloped Zacharias' body and he turned to Saa'liha.

Vooom!

Pa-pscht!

"GYAAAHHH!!!"

He appeared in front of her and slapped her away with his Mana weapon.

"Out of my way, filthy demon!" he said and then raised it as he stared at Kyle's corpse. "You filthy and disgusting heretic! You turned your back against humanity and defiled the gifts given to you by the God of Light!"

BOOOM!!!

Before he could deliver the final blow, a loud explosion suddenly erupted nearby.

Everyone stopped what they were doing, including Zacharias, and turned to see what had just happened.

A 6-meter-tall bipedal red-colored Primordial Beast with horns, Draghorn-like wings, a tail, and red glowing eyes landed at the center of the battle, creating a small crater and there were three people riding on its back who immediately got off.

One of the people riding the Primordial Beast was a human male in his mid-30s with short black hair wearing a simple set of leather armor with an array of items on his chest and waist.

The second person was a male Larker who appeared to be in his early 30s. He had a thin and ripped physique, he had white short hair, dark red skin and sharp teeth. He wore a set of black leather armor with brown accents and had an array of items on his chest, waist and thighs.

The third person was a gorgeous female Verin who appeared to be in her late 20s. She had green hair that seemed to sparkle, her eyes were purple and there were shards of vertical purple gems on her face -- a thick one on her forehead and 3 thin ones on each of her cheeks. And just like the color of her hair, she wore a set that was a cross-combination of robe and leather armor and had a belt pouch.
