Chapter 26: Stellar Vein Build Combinations
Chapter 26: Stellar Vein Build Combinations
Primordial Altar.
Qi Sheng summoned the Function Panel and began browsing player-generated content.
After two days of development, the forum’s user base had grown rapidly. The hottest topic remained discussions about the newly constructed "Testing Tower" in Dizhong Village and its functionalities.
This newly built Testing Tower integrated 729 Primordial Abilities known to Yan Ming. Players could embed various types of monster Life Souls in the simulation environment to combine and customize their preferred progression builds.
After two days of testing, numerous powerful builds had already been developed and shared on the forum.
Currently, Qi Sheng was reading the most popular guide post.
[Played the simulator for two days—sharing some potent Stellar Vein build combinations I’ve crafted.]
Poster: Nightlong
Content: The monster-farming frenzy outside is too intense for a newbie like me. I stayed in Novice Village for two days testing builds in the simulator and want to share three powerful combinations. Since my Body Forge Rank is 0, the highest simulation option only allows embedding eight monster Life Souls. Each build here uses exactly eight Life Souls. These builds could be further expanded and enhanced with higher ranks.
First, a build centered around Gargoyle, which I call the "Immovable Immortal Style."

Qi Sheng clicked the video, and a holographic window popped up in the forum interface.
In the video, a player named Nightlong was performing a Stellar Vein Inlay.
Eight Stellar Vein Inlay Slots: They inserted Gargoyle (Contained), Tauntweaver (Contained), Revival, Thorn, Icebone, Bloodthirst Mark, Fire Scythe, and Black-Scaled Serpent (Contained) in sequence.
After completing the Stellar Vein construction, Nightlong turned toward the camera:
"Let me first demonstrate each Primordial Ability’s specific effects to better showcase the simulation results."
The camera zoomed in on the Stellar Vein enhancement interface:
Petrification (Active): Enters an immobilized Petrification state, drastically reducing all forms of attack damage. Effect magnitude depends on physical condition.
Tauntweaver (Active): Emits a mental shockwave centered on the user. Struck targets experience memory-based illusions (controllable range), briefly reliving intense memory reconstructions. The caster becomes a participant in the reconstructed memories (effective only against sentient beings level 1+).
Revival (Passive): Activates life potential, drastically enhancing bodily self-healing efficiency. Effect magnitude depends on monster level.
Thorn (Passive): Reflects a portion of received physical damage back to the attacker. Effect magnitude depends on physical strength.
Icebone (Passive): Inflicts freezing effects on attackers when damage is taken, slowing their movement efficiency.
Bloodthirst Mark (Passive): Continuously absorbs nearby targets’ blood energy, converting it into healing energy to repair bodily damage. Coverage range depends on physical strength.
Fire Scythe (Active): Continuously burns nearby units. Damage magnitude depends on physical strength.
Venom (Passive): All physical damage inflicts Poison, causing sustained damage to targets. Effect magnitude depends on Black-Scaled Serpent’s form level.
...
"My build strategy uses Tauntweaver to draw aggro, forcing nearby enemies to attack me. Then I activate Petrification to mitigate damage. Revival provides sustained healing, while Thorn reflects physical damage. Bloodthirst Mark drains nearby injured targets’ blood for regeneration. Icebone controls the battlefield with freezing effects, and Fire Scythe/Venom deal sustained damage."
"Special mention for Black-Scaled Serpent’s Venom trait—it makes all physical damage apply Poison. Combined with Thorn’s damage reflection, attackers will suffer Poison effects while dealing damage."
"Next, the simulation demonstration."
As they spoke, Nightlong activated the simulator, spawning 100 Blood Wolves before entering combat mode.
Facing the charging Blood Wolves, Nightlong activated Tauntweaver. A mental illusion centered on them immediately formed, turning the Blood Wolves’ eyes blood-red.
Petrification engaged next—Nightlong’s body was enveloped in black matter, entering an immobilized state.
Under the Blood Wolves’ ferocious assaults, red damage numbers and green healing numbers simultaneously floated above Nightlong’s head.
Each bite the Blood Wolves landed left wounds that triggered Poison, Freeze, and Burn debuffs, plus white damage numbers from Thorn’s reflection.
Blood drained from the injured Blood Wolves was pulled toward the Bloodthirst Mark, forming wisps of crimson energy flowing into Nightlong, who gained additional green healing numbers.
Throughout the demonstration, Nightlong’s health remained stable between 98%-100%. The Blood Wolves posed no actual threat.
Within five minutes, the entire Blood Wolf pack lay dead, and Nightlong’s health regenerated to 100%.
Nightlong turned toward the Guidewater Orb, grinning:
"This is why I call this build the Immovable Immortal Style. Pretty strong, right?"
The video ended here. Dozens of player comments followed:
Bard: Insane! With this build, you can just stand in monster nests and farm effortlessly.
I Choose Black-Scaled Serpent: Mind-blowing! What divine build is this? A blessing for lazy players! Just stand in monster clusters and level up while browsing forums.
Ultimate Newbie: Holy cow! I want this build so bad, but besides Black-Scaled Serpent, Tauntweaver, and Gargoyle, I haven’t contained the other five Life Souls. Where can I even find these Primordial Monsters?
...
After closing the video, Qi Sheng continued reading.
Besides the popular Immovable Immortal Style, Nightlong shared two more builds: Shadow Legion Style and One-Shot Kill Style.
The Shadow Legion Style centered around Shadow Summon, a Life Soul that summoned shadow warriors imprisoned in the Shadow Realm to fight for the user. Summon count and strength depended on the user’s mental power.
Building around this core, Nightlong embedded seven Life Souls with group enhancement effects.
The combat strategy was simple:
Summon a swarm of shadow warriors, then buff them with Wicked Blade (weapon enhancement), Cloud Dragon (movement speed enhancement), Malevolent Armor (defense enhancement), Frenzy (physical enhancement)...
By stacking status enhancements, the shadow warriors’ combat effectiveness multiplied—allowing players to spectate while their summoned army dominated.
This build was another blessing for lazy players, requiring zero personal participation after the initial buffs.
Thousands of comments praised this build.
The final One-Shot Kill Style used Deterioration as its core Life Soul.
Deterioration drastically amplified all sustained damage effects and durations.
This build’s characteristic was simple: strike once, then immediately retreat. Targets would suffer sustained Deterioration, Poison, Death Rot, and other effects, eventually dying from escalating damage.
In the demonstration, Nightlong performed a basic attack on a level-28 Scythe Abomination, then retreated.
The Scythe Abomination’s head rapidly displayed multiple debuff numbers. Its wounds spread across its body like rot until it collapsed dead.

This post quickly rose to the top of the forum’s popularity chart.
It sparked immense interest in Stellar Vein build crafting among players.
Countless players followed suit, experimenting with various Stellar Vein builds in the simulator.
However, many lamented limitations:
The initial simulation only allowed eight Life Soul slots, restricting even stronger builds.
Additionally, most Life Souls in the simulation database remained uncontained, leaving players clueless about where to hunt these Primordial Monsters.
Still, these emerging builds fueled players’ hopes for future progression.
The 729 Primordial Abilities in the simulator were merely fragments of the Imperial Omen’s power. Countless unknown Primordial Monsters awaited discovery and containment.
As the game updated, more refined Stellar Vein build combinations would undoubtedly emerge.
