Old Li almost fell off his mount, "Then what are you thinking about? You're not deciding what to have for lunch, are you?"
"Of course not," Su Yu's lips twitched, "I'm thinking about Mayor Michel of Pearl City."
Su Yu trusted Old Li and didn't hide anything, recounting his meeting with Michel, their conversation, and the unusual aspects of it.
After listening to Su Yu, Old Li stroked his chin and nodded, "I see."
"This is indeed a tricky situation. We have very little information, and the scraps we have aren't enough to determine if Mayor Michel is up to something. But—"
Old Li drew out his words, "But for you, Boss Ke, this should be easy to solve, right?"
"Huh? What do you mean?" Su Yu was taken aback.
Old Li glanced around, then lowered his voice, "Boss Ke, don't you have the ability to foresee the future?"
Su Yu: "Uh—"
Old Li: "Just use your foresight to see if Mayor Michel is still the mayor of Pearl City after the first expansion. If she is, then she definitely hasn't betrayed the princess.
