Chapter 255: The Celestial Demon Enters the World
Chapter 255: The Celestial Demon Enters the World
Inside the Meditation Chamber, Lv Yang sat cross-legged, examining his newly created Immortal Embryo Clone. The clone, forged over three painstaking months using the Nine Matron Celestial Demon Extermination Sword, now stood before him.
"Not bad at all!" Lv Yang murmured, nodding in satisfaction. He channeled his energy, and the clone’s eyes flew open simultaneously. Their gazes met.
Lv Yang’s Spirit Sea rippled with an unusual sensation—his perception suddenly split. He was now seeing the chamber through both his original body and the clone’s eyes. This duality occurred precisely because he’d refrained from implanting a shard of his Divine Consciousness into the clone.
Injecting a fragment of his consciousness would have allowed the clone to act autonomously, receiving commands remotely. But Lv Yang had deliberately avoided this path.
"Too dangerous", he muttered. Fragmenting his consciousness risked the clone developing independent awareness—an intolerable flaw.
"I’ll control it myself."
This approach required his original body to remain in Sealed Cultivation while the clone acted. A minor inconvenience, given his plans.
Yet he wasn’t reckless.
With a flick of his fingers, he inscribed glowing sigils across the clone’s body—seals of destruction. These weren’t ordinary self-destruct mechanisms. They were irreversible, designed to reduce the clone to ash at his slightest whim.
As a final precaution, he retrieved a dense, earth-yellow aura from his storage: Earth Vein Qi. A parting gift from Treasure-Child during his time in the Qing Kingdom, this energy had rested untouched until now.
"Perfect timing."
He funneled the Earth Vein Qi into the clone. Its power surged—a walking catastrophe, capable of annihilating anyone who dared destroy it. Any foe would then face heavenly wrath, while Lv Yang’s clone would ensure his own karma remained unblemished.
Next, he armed the clone with the Invisible Sword and an arsenal of Spirit Treasures: the Hundredfold Barrier Cloak, Celestial Edict Seal, Purify Qi Pagoda, and components of the Ten Thousand Treasures River. Only the Avici Sword, Ten-Thousand Spirit Banner, Ultimate Heaven Instrument, and Imperial Decree of Golden Inscription remained with his original body.
"Now you’re ready."
Lv Yang channeled energy between himself and the clone. The radiant patterns of his Divine Abilities flowed from his original body into the clone, elevating it to Foundation Building Mid-Stage—an exact replica of a true cultivator at this level, even retaining the enhanced power of the Imperial Decree of Golden Inscription.
"Of course, once I sever the connection, it’ll revert to ordinary flesh", he mused. "A truly remarkable feat would be sustaining this power independently. But for now…"
He settled onto his meditation cushion. The clone stretched, then strode out.

At Holy Flame Cliff, Miao Yin True Man tapped her foot impatiently. A figure descended in a flash of light—Lv Yang.
"Yuan Tu has kept me waiting", she said coolly, her delicate brows knitting together. Something felt… off.
"My apologies", Lv Yang bowed, his voice carrying its usual lightness. "The dangers of the outer realms demanded thorough preparation."
"Of course", she smiled, hiding her unease. "The Myriad Martial Realm’s Fruit Position has matured—and it’s unusually sensitive. We’ll draw attention the moment we enter."
"Then how do we proceed?" he asked. "Abandon our cultivation and start anew?"
"Absurd", she laughed. "We enter to harvest its essence, not forfeit our strength."
Lv Yang smirked. So it’s a raid, not a pilgrimage.
"Still", she warned, "the realm isn’t defenseless. There are formidable cultivators inside."
"Like Great True Men?"
"Potentially. The realm’s Fruit Position occasionally births them as a countermeasure when outsiders invade."
Lv Yang’s eyes narrowed. So the realm itself spawns threats?
Their conversation paused as they reached the Heavenly Ascension Hall—a sprawling, rune-etched temple.
"A Nascent Soul artifact", Miao Yin explained. "A legacy from our ancestors. It connects us to the heavens."
Lv Yang stiffened. A treasure of such power…
Miao Yin stepped inside, raising her hands. "Heavens, grant passage to the Myriad Martial Realm."
The hall shimmered. A figure bounced into view—a cherubic Daoist boy, cheeks rosy, ink-stained brush in hand. Drool dripped from his lip as he wiped his mouth, then fixed them with a mock-grandiose stare.
"Who dares interrupt my nap?" he squeaked, holding out his hand imperiously.
Lv Yang blinked. Only when Miao Yin smoothly offered a Spirit Treasure did he catch on. A toll.
He hastily presented another artifact.
"Good, good! You understand protocol!" The boy beamed, swiping his brush.
The world spun. Lv Yang felt himself hurled into the void—then plummeting.
Thud.
A new realm awaited.
