Chapter 253: The Deathly Hallows — The Elder Wand!
Chapter 253: The Deathly Hallows — The Elder Wand!
Being stared at by such a face, a wordless pressure surged in Ivan's heart.
Although Tom Riddle was not unscathed by his attacks, compared to Ivan, his condition was clearly much better.
"I think you two should spend some more time thinking about who should control the body", Ivan swallowed hard, trying to reignite the internal conflict within the Horcrux.
"After you're dead, we'll take our time to discuss it!" Two overlapping voices came from Tom Riddle's mouth.
"Are you sure, Tom? I don't think you can win against your future self. How about we destroy the Ravenclaw's Diadem together first?" Ivan suggested.
But in response, several Spells flew towards him!
"Protego!" Ivan struggled to construct multiple Magic Barriers in front of him.
However, in this form, Tom Riddle's Spell strength was clearly much higher than before, and the Magic Barriers did not last long before they were all breached.
The Protective Ring in Ivan's hand kept flickering, and within three seconds, it developed cracks, its protective effect becoming increasingly weak.
Tom Riddle raised his hand again, and a red light penetrated the protection, striking Ivan. Under the effect of the Disarming Charm, Ivan's Wand was knocked out of his hand.
"Looks like I win in the end!" Tom Riddle's lips curled into a smile.
But even without a Wand in his hand, Tom did not dare to get too close. Instead, he pointed his Wand at the young wizard and demanded, "Tell me, how did you manage to possess two Blood Magics at the same time!"
"Of course, I followed the method given by Salazar Slytherin. You can try it too if you dare!" Ivan replied casually, while racking his brain for a way out. He still had a Wand with a dragon heartstring core in his sleeve, but Tom would not give him the chance to use it.
"Don't try to be clever with me, or do you want to taste the Cruciatus Curse?" Tom Riddle's face darkened. He did not believe Ivan's words.
Salazar Slytherin had indeed left a method for blending multiple bloodlines in the ancient texts, but he did not provide a solution to the bloodline conflicts. Attempting it recklessly was almost certain death!
He believed that the young wizard in front of him would never take such a huge risk.
Ivan hadn't expected to be threatened by the Cruciatus Curse just after using it to threaten Lockhart.
Faced with the increasingly impatient Tom Riddle, Ivan racked his brain but could not think of a way to survive. Fear of death clouded his mind, and his black eyes began to shift towards a snake-like appearance.
"Cruciatus—" Seeing Ivan's reluctance to speak, Tom Riddle was about to cast the Curse.
Suddenly, a ethereal song echoed from a distance, reverberating through the sealed Chamber of Secrets, interrupting Tom Riddle's action.
In the air above the Chamber, a golden-red Phoenix was flying towards them, its beautiful tail feathers trailing fiery sparks, and its golden claws gripping something.
"Dumbledore!" The moment Tom Riddle saw the Phoenix, his smile vanished. He glared at Ivan and shouted, "He can't save you! Avada Kedavra!"
Tom Riddle waved his Wand, casting the Killing Curse.
Ivan tried to dodge, but this time the green light was faster than ever. In an instant, death was upon him.
The Phoenix, soaring high in the air, was engulfed in flames and disappeared, the object in its claws falling slowly from the sky.
At the same moment, a ball of fire appeared in front of Ivan. Phoenix Fawkes emerged from the flames, absorbing the green light into his mouth.
Even a phoenix cannot completely avoid injury after consuming the Killing Curse.
Flames continuously surged from its body, and Fawkes transformed into a small fireball that fell to the ground. Soon, a wrinkled, featherless "chick" emerged from the fireball.
The reborn phoenix clearly could no longer help Ivan. The situation on the field seemed unchanged, and Tom Riddle mocked.
"This is the help Dumbledore gives you? It seems he doesn't want to come and save you himself!"
Ivan remained silent. He had not expected Dumbledore to know about the situation here and to send the phoenix to help him.
However, unless Dumbledore himself was present, even if the phoenix brought the Sorting Hat and the Gryffindor Sword, it would not save him.
As Ivan was thinking this, something long hit his head and fell again.
Ivan instinctively reached out to catch it and looked down. It was a Wand about fifteen inches long, the Elder Wand, gleaming in the dim light of the Chamber of Secrets.
Just by holding it, Ivan felt his Magic Power boiling within him.
A message from the System appeared in Ivan's mind.
【Magic Item: Elder Wand (Deathly Hallow)

Ivan could hardly believe that Dumbledore had sent Fawkes to deliver this to him, but the surging Magic Power within him and the System prompt clearly told him that this was the Deathly Hallow—the Elder Wand!
"What is that? Dumbledore even sent you a Wand?" Tom Riddle felt a faint unease but quickly calmed himself. Just a Wand, it wouldn't change the situation.
"This is what will end you!" Ivan said without hesitation.
Without giving Tom Riddle time to think, Ivan waved the Elder Wand, and the water from the two pools was lifted up.
Countless streams of water, guided by Ivan, converged into a massive dragon several dozen meters long, with sharp claws, diving from the sky!
"This is impossible!" Tom Riddle stared at the enormous water dragon, his eyes wide with fear, shouting. He couldn't understand how Ivan, whom he had defeated before, could cast such powerful magic.
Ravenclaw's Diadem burst with intense light!
The two Horcruxes no longer suppressed each other, controlling this body together. Countless Magic Power barriers appeared in front of Tom Riddle, and a large amount of Fiendfyre surged against the water, enveloped in heat.
But all of this was meaningless against the massive water dragon. The Magic Power barriers crumbled almost instantly, and the supposedly unquenchable Fiendfyre was buried under the water.
Tom Riddle had no choice as the water dragon bit him and slammed him into the wall behind him.
