You Xuan gathered his focus, intending to continue the duel, when he suddenly sensed something. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed that Kaiba and Mokuba, who had been busy with the computer in the room, had quietly joined them without him realizing.
They seemed surprisingly calm, given the situation he was in.
You Xuan had a faint idea of what might be going on.
"My turn, draw!" You Xuan declared. "I activate the Magic Card, 'Foolish Burial,' sending a Monster Card from my deck to the graveyard."
"A card used to precisely manipulate the graveyard," the masked man said in a low voice. "Sending any troublesome cards directly to the graveyard could be problematic."
"Then, I activate my face-down Trap Card, 'Return of the Frontlines!' I Special Summon that Monster Card from my graveyard in face-up Defense Position!" You Xuan exclaimed.
"The Monster Card discarded by 'Angel's Charity' last turn?"
"Correct," the masked man acknowledged, drawing the card that had been sent to the graveyard and slamming it onto the Duel Disk.
"Magic Jammer!"
A metallic, mechanical device appeared on the field, taking up a defensive stance in the masked man's front row.

"This thing," You Xuan muttered.
He was used to using this card to outplay others, so it felt a little odd to have it used against him for once.
"While Magic Jammer is on the field, the activation of all Magic Cards is negated, and all Magic effects become invalid," the masked man explained coldly. "Therefore, the effect of 'Foolish Burial' is negated, and you cannot send a Monster Card from your deck to the graveyard."
Magic Jammer demonstrated its absolute ability to nullify magic, rendering all magical powers ineffective as long as the jamming device was operational. The dimly glowing Magic Card soon shattered and vanished from the field.
After his Magic Card was negated, You Xuan paused for a moment before glancing at the composed Kaiba brothers beside him and then back at his opponent.
"Let me guess," You Xuan said.
"Amelda, right?"
The masked man's eyes widened slightly, clearly taken aback.
However, after only a second, he chuckled and abruptly tore off his disguise.
Indeed, it was Amelda, one of the former Big Three of Doma and the one who had a bitter rivalry with Kaiba.

"Of course," Amelda replied with a smile. "Who else could it be?"
So, the White Dragon Maid Corps was your idea, too? What a twisted sense of humor.
"So, this isn't a Dark Duel, then?"
"So, before you arrived, I thought I'd take this opportunity to test you. The disguise I wore earlier was just to create some tension and help bring out your best."
You Xuan: ". . ."
So, it turned out to be a friendly duel.
How boring.
He had just been thinking that the card his opponent used last turn was pretty good.
If it was a friendly duel, then he wouldn't be able to capture it. How annoying.
