Chapter 244: Instant Kill
Chapter 244: Instant Kill
September 25th, 2017
As everyone watched Tie Fugui approach Lu Hai Kong, they anticipated a bloody scene.
Indeed, a bloody scene unfolded, and it was far more gruesome than expected, leaving everyone baffled as to what had just transpired.
Lu Hai Kong gazed at the Hun before him, feeling a sense of awe. While the Hun's strength was commendable, it paled in comparison to his own. Despite Lu Hai Kong's Strength stat of only 73, his combat prowess far exceeded that of a level 70 opponent. The man before him, Hu Yinqi, was no match for him.
For Lu Hai Kong, this opponent posed no challenge. Since Hu Yinqi refused to listen, Lu Hai Kong saw no reason to hold back. With a single swing, he unleashed the level 34 Basic Axe Technique.
It was a simple swing, not particularly fast, and Tie Fugui had ample time to dodge.
But as Lu Hai Kong's axe approached, Hu Yinqi's expression changed, like a cornered beast defiantly lashing out. Smiling cruelly, he casually raised his wolf-fang club to block the blow.
Confident in his strength, Hu Yinqi believed he could easily deflect the Han's attack. However, when the Wilderness Axe struck his club, he realized his mistake, but it was too late.
The massive hundred-jin axe was beyond Lu Hai Kong's control. With all his might, he swung, and in that moment of Tie Fugui's resistance, his fate was sealed.
The wolf-fang club was violently driven into Tie Fugui's body by Lu Hai Kong. The Wilderness Axe continued its swing, and with a single blow, it took the life of the legendary War God of the Tie Fu Tribe.
It was simple, direct, and efficient!
Everyone stood in stunned silence, mouths agape at the scene before them. As Tie Fugui was struck down, their jaws dropped in disbelief.
No one could believe that this frail-looking Han was so formidable.
Uyun Qiqige, witnessing the scene, was equally shocked. She had expected Lu Hai Kong to be powerful, but not to this extent. A single swing had taken down an opponent of similar strength, leaving her in awe of his true capabilities.
Lu Hai Kong's four maids, who had witnessed his strength firsthand over the past few days, were the most affected. During the mornings, Lu Hai Kong had practiced with the axe, but without comparison, they only knew he was strong. Now, they finally grasped the extent of his power.
"I gave him a warning, but he didn't seize the opportunity. What about you now?"
On the battlefield, Lu Hai Kong pointed at the remaining six Huns, his attitude as arrogant as before. But this time, no one dared to utter a word of mockery. The man before them was undeniably powerful.
The entire arena fell silent. Lu Hai Kong's figure, though still slender, now seemed like a towering demon god in everyone's eyes. The remaining six Huns across from him wore expressions of solemnity.
"Forget it. Seeing your hesitation, I doubt you'll make a decision. I'll take care of it!"
Saying this, Lu Hai Kong dragged his massive axe towards the six Huns, ready to strike.
As Lu Hai Kong approached, the six Huns instinctively huddled together, unable to shake off the immense pressure from Lu Hai Kong's previous strike. Despite their combined efforts against a single Han man, they felt it was too humiliating to face Lu Hai Kong individually, but none of them had the confidence to do so.
The battle finally commenced under Lu Hai Kong's overwhelming aura. On one side was a frail Han man, and on the other, six robust Huns. But as the battle began, everyone subconsciously elevated Lu Hai Kong to a higher status.
In an instant, Lu Hai Kong transformed from a laughable Han youth to a demon-like figure, while the six Huns facing him became brave warriors ready to challenge the demon. The Huns naturally watched this martial match with a sense of pessimism.
Everyone prayed for a miracle, hoping the six Huns would pull off an upset and defeat this demon-like Han man.
The battle began, and as Lu Hai Kong's Wilderness Axe descended, everyone seemed to witness a primordial beast, scrambling to dodge in panic. No one dared to directly confront Lu Hai Kong's axe, still fresh from the previous warning. No one wanted to meet the same fate as the last victim.
At the start of the battle, Lu Hai Kong resembled a giant ravaging a land of Lilliputians, his Savage Axe sending the Huns into a frenzy of evasive maneuvers. None of them had the will to face Lu Hai Kong head-on.
As the battle unfolded, the Huns gradually realized that Lu Hai Kong was indeed formidable, and his axe possessed immense power. However, they weren't without a chance to overcome him.
Lu Hai Kong's weapon, the axe, was powerful and heavy, dominating in offense. But in terms of defense, it left much to be desired. If they were cautious of his attacks, they could indeed defeat Lu Hai Kong.
Moreover, they noticed that Lu Hai Kong's coordination with his axe was not yet perfected, often resulting in either excessive or insufficient force. This presented an excellent opportunity for the Huns.
He SuiMeng took the lead, restraining Lu Hai Kong at the front, while Uyun Tu seized the chance to strike from behind. This tactic immediately proved effective, disrupting Lu Hai Kong's previously unstoppable momentum with the collaboration of He SuiMeng and Uyun Tu.
The remaining Huns quickly followed suit, and Lu Hai Kong's situation became dire.
Witnessing this, the Huns in the audience couldn't help but express their surprise. Apparently, this Han man wasn't invincible after all.
Uyun Qiqige's brows furrowed upon seeing this, though she had no desire to become anyone's prize. But if she had to choose among these men, Lu Hai Kong would be her first pick.
This man was not only powerful but also skilled in military strategy, making him an ideal subordinate in her eyes. Seeing Lu Hai Kong at a disadvantage, she grew anxious, genuinely concerned that he might be defeated so easily.
However, Qiqige's worries were unfounded. Who was Lu Hai Kong, after all? He wasn't one to be defeated so readily.
"Excellent, excellent! This pressure is quite impressive, but it's not enough to defeat me with just this!"
A purple aura flashed across Lu Hai Kong's face, and the effect of the 'Purple Aura Ascending Dragon Technique' was activated once more.
"Purple Aura Ascends!"
