Although Jin Fanfei wasn't a poor student, as one of the few Special Recruitment Students in the class, she was definitely going to be part of the Sports Meet team.
"I want to do Shuttlecock Kicking", Jin Fanfei said shyly.
"That event is simple, and since your familiar is a Ballpuff, you should have a good chance of winning", Qiao Sang smiled.
In the Shuttlecock Kicking event, familiars cannot use their Skills, but they can use their heads, feet, and other body parts to kick the shuttlecock, except for their arms. For Grass-type Companions, Vine Whip is considered part of the body, so it can be used according to the rules.
Generally, Grass-type Companions have a high chance of winning in this event.
The first class of the day was with the Class Teacher.

The selection process soon got underway.
"First up, who wants to participate in the 400m Hurdle Sprint?" Li Yi asked, looking around the class.
The 400m Hurdle Sprint is a combined event for Beastmasters and their familiars. The familiars wear Sensing Devices on their heads, while the Beastmasters wear Electronic Visual Devices at the starting line.
There are no actual hurdles on the track, but they are displayed in the Beastmaster's Electronic Visual Device.
As the familiar approaches the hurdle, the Beastmaster must jump forcefully in place. The Sensing Device will allow the familiar to sense the Beastmaster's action.
At this point, the familiar must jump, as the hurdle will suddenly rise from the ground.
The 400m Hurdle Sprint tests the familiar's speed, reaction time, and the level of rapport and trust between the Beastmaster and familiar, making it a particularly daunting challenge for freshmen who have just become Beastmasters.

Brick Splitting was a Combat-type Companion's specialty, and most participants would be combat-type familiars. Other attribute familiars would just be cannon fodder.
Swimming Relay was a joint event for Water Elemental Familiars and their Beastmasters. Although her third familiar was already set to be Aquariana, she hadn't bonded with it yet and couldn't guarantee that her Beastmaster Codex would have a third page by the time of the Sports Meet.
Aerial Ring was a Flying-type Companion's choice, though there was no strict rule that only Flying-type Companions could participate. However, Flying-type Companions had a significant advantage in this event.
The familiars had to snatch Rings floating in the air and be the first to place them on the hooks of the target objects below to win. The Rings would be replenished, and the remaining familiars would continue to compete, ranking accordingly.
During the event, Wind Generators would create wind interference. The rules prohibited using Skills on competing familiars but allowed using Skills on the Rings.
Psychic Power was an exception.
Skills could also be used to accelerate in the air.
Teleportation was an exception.
What a joke!
Qiao Sang suspected these rules were specifically designed to target Psionic Familiars.
Overall, this event was time-consuming and tested the familiars' ability to judge wind direction and strength.
Fangy and Treasure Seeker could participate, but with the rules prohibiting attacks on opponents and the use of teleportation, how could they possibly compete with Flying-type Companions, which had a natural advantage in the air?
