The four-eyed demon was startled as he saw the commander draw his sword without another word, as if he intended to strike him down.
"Since you witnessed it yourself, we cannot let you live," the commander said coldly. "You know too much."
Four-eyed demon: "?"
He opened his mouth, but his mind went blank, and he couldn't utter a word. All he could think of were question marks filling his head.
What does this mean? I didn't break any rules. Why am I the one losing my head?
"Think carefully," the commander said calmly. "Are you sure this happened? Or perhaps you misunderstood?"
The four-eyed demon's four eyes widened in confusion. Just as he was about to speak, he heard a voice from behind him: "No, he didn't mishear. It happened just as he said."
