Chapter 221: Tinia's Wind Generation Spell
Northwind Keep, Council Chamber.
"Your Majesty, this is the situation."
"I regret my inability to contain her."
"Captain Lanpu says he has neither the authority nor the power to restrain Lady Tinia. He could only seal her within this chamber, awaiting your return for final judgment."
Tiefling Captain of the Guard, Damakos, stood before the Red Dragon, head bowed in respectful submission as he reported.
Kai Xiusu gazed at the White Dragon tearing through the hall—knocking over shelves, scattering scrolls, overturning furniture—reducing the chamber to utter chaos. His expression darkened. He began to suspect that this White Dragon’s Ancestral Bloodline might trace back to some canine species known as a “Husky.”
He’d only been gone for two days, conducting an Experiment Spell. Yet here, within Northwind Keep, no one could hold her in check. The Great Goblins and Tiefling guards alike ignored her with disdain, and even Lanpu had been driven to desperation—forced to erect a Force Wall just to confine the troublesome Home.
After all, to a White Dragon with an Extremely Diluted Ancestral Bloodline, these creatures were little more than fresh meat. Only dragons were equals in her eyes.
Thankfully, the 【Dictatorial Edict】 still held. Otherwise, she might have indulged her curiosity with a human snack.
"Tinia, stop."
Hearing the familiar voice—and sensing the unmistakable irritation in Kai Xiusu’s tone—the White Dragon instantly stilled. She settled onto the floor with surprising docility, a stark contrast to her earlier tantrum.
"While I was away, was this your behavior?"
"Where is your dignity as a dragon?"
"Master..."
Tinia shrank back, wings tucked close, head lowered, emitting soft, pleading whimpers—clearly begging for mercy.
Kai Xiusu swept his gaze across the wreckage: scrolls scattered like confetti, shelves splintered, books torn and strewn about. His temper flared. Without hesitation, he slammed the white dragon down and began raining blows upon her.
"Let this be a lesson in defiance! Let this teach you to destroy Home!"
Despite her Ancestral Dragon blood and greater age, the chasm between Red and White Dragon was immense—especially when Kai Xiusu was a Hybrid Dragon whose Bloodline had been traced back through multiple generations. His size dwarfed even other Red Dragons of his age.
Not only was he vastly larger, but his thick, powerful limbs and tail were nearly twice the girth of the slender White Dragon’s frame.
Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!
With his left claw pinning her neck to the ground, Kai Xiusu unleashed furious strikes with his right, each blow echoing with sharp, cracking force.
"Awooo—"
Tinia lay motionless, unable to move, only wailing in pain. Her tail arched high, trembling—but she dared not fight back. She couldn’t.
Centuries confined to the tower had left her weak in combat, but her tolerance for pain was off the charts. After a few agonized cries, she found the pain… less unbearable. She’d grown accustomed.
Her simple, single-minded mind began to wander beyond the pain.
"So big… so strong…"
"Being beaten by such a mighty dragon… is only natural."
She slowly turned her head, staring at the massive arm that pinned her to the floor. Then, her eyes fluttered shut, her thoughts drifting.
"I guess a good beating was inevitable. White Dragons are beasts—hard to tame with kindness. Like wild dogs."
As Kai Xiusu, lost in the mindset of training a misbehaving pet, continued his punishment, he suddenly realized—something was off.
This wasn’t the reaction he’d expected.
Her face—though undeniably battered—was not twisted in agony or shame. Instead, there was… a flicker of satisfaction.
Kai Xiusu: “…”
Did this White Dragon possess some strange, hidden trait?
He withdrew his claw, stepping back, staring at her with wide-eyed disbelief.
Tinia, still trembling slightly, remained pressed against the ground, tail curled, letting out soft, low hums—still caught in the aftermath of the beating. Yet she felt no real pain.
She blinked, then slowly opened her eyes—locking gaze with Kai Xiusu’s.
“…”
The White Dragon was a mess: face bruised, scales cracked, teeth scattered across the floor. Kai Xiusu hadn’t held back—had used seven out of ten of his strength.
Yet she still wagged her tail with a grin, eyes full of eager anticipation.
The Red Dragon’s furious scolding shook the very floor. The townsfolk of Northwind Keep, unaware of the cause, thought an earthquake had struck. Panic spread through the city until the Tiefling Guard arrived to restore order.
"Awooooom..."
Tinia lowered her head, gently rubbing her body against Kai Xiusu’s leg—clearly offering a submissive apology.
Kai Xiusu exhaled through gritted teeth, struggling to maintain his authority.
"Clean this up."
"Never let me catch you destroying anything again. Do you understand?"
With a creature like Tinia—so dangerously unpredictable—there was little he could do beyond strict orders.
She was unquestionably loyal. Her loyalty as a Follower was absolute. The Dragon Oath woven into magic never lied. But she was also an infuriating, persistent nuisance.
After all, according to Kai Xiusu’s own Dragon Heritage, White Dragons despised interaction with their own kind—except, of course, with the opposite sex. They sought Physical Pleasure above all, often mating purely for enjoyment.
And yet… this White Dragon had somehow found her own unique Niche Pleasure.
Carefully, she parted her jaws slightly and exhaled—gentle gusts of wind swirling from her mouth, sweeping the debris away.
"Awooo—"
She lifted her head proudly, letting out a triumphant, melodic chirp.
Kai Xiusu felt a subtle ripple in the Weave of Magic across his Domain Area.
"...Is that... Wind Generation Spell?"
"A Wind Generation Spell?"
This wasn’t just a minor trick. This was a second-level spell—something even veteran White Dragons only learned in their later years.
And this one—still in her youth—was already casting it?
Kai Xiusu opened his Familiar Interface.
【Extremely Diluted Ancestral Bloodline White Dragon – Tinia】
[Challenge Rating: 10]
[Dragon Innate Spellcasting Level: 5]
She wasn’t just capable of third-level spells—she was already mastering them.
For a typical White Dragon, such innate spellcasting was only achieved in old age. But Tinia—already in her prime—had surpassed that. A true Natural Talent.
Even more shocking? A creature so “beastly,” so infamous for its lack of intellect, could wield magic like this.
It explained why Mages called Sorcerers “Barbarians with staves.”
Dragon Innate Spellcasting equaled Sorcerer Level. Spells were cast not through study or ritual, but through sheer instinct—through confidence so unshakable it bent the Weave of Magic.
“Not bad for an Ancestral Dragon bloodline.”
“Even diluted, it still grants a qualitative leap.”
Kai Xiusu summoned a Magic Mirror, contacting Lanpu, who was still deep in research within the Wizard Tower.
