Tiefling Captain Damacus stood before the red dragon, his head bowed, reporting respectfully.

Cassius looked at the white dragon rummaging through the hall, causing a chaotic mess, and his face darkened slightly. He began to suspect whether Tinia’s ancient bloodline somehow came from a creature resembling a husky.

He had only left for two days to experiment with new spells, yet no one in Northwind Fortress seemed able to restrain Tinia. The hobgoblins and tiefling guards were of no consequence to her, and even Langpu had struggled, resorting to conjuring a force wall to confine this troublesome dragon in the hall.

In Tinia’s eyes, these little beings were just tasty “meat,” and only other dragons were worthy of recognition as equals.

The red dragon loosened his grip and stepped back, staring at this peculiar white dragon with a mix of disbelief and shock.
